I never understood why red mailboxes freaked him out so much. :P Maybe he was just pretending to be scared, I dunno. but I was even warned about before we headed out. lol n

We had fun going to the movies and looking around town a bit. and she got to play on my nintendo and stuff. That kept her busy for a while. :) Pusur and my niece became great friends, he snuggled loads with her which she loved. :D

My feet have been killing me the last couple of days during my walks, takes away some of the fun really. >_< but at least its good to get out and have some nice company.

I'm sorry for being so out of it! I saw the doctor last week, and she confirmed that I have interstitial cystitis and vulvodynia. She put me on two prescriptions and gave me some samples of supplements that are supposed to help. The medicine has been making me really tired, so that's one reason I haven't gotten back to you sooner. =( I also have to change my diet, which is kind of difficult. I can't have anything acidic, spicy, or caffeinated, or anything with lots of preservatives. There are a lot of things I can't eat, so I have been making stuff like salad dressing and pasta sauce (alfredo, I can't have tomatoes!) from scratch. Hopefully all the changes will help, but the doctor said I may not start to feel better for 2 months. 😢 There are no cures for the conditions, so I basically just have to manage them with medicine, lifestyle adjustments, and dietary changes. I am glad to at least know what is going on now, though. I had been dealing with the pain for almost a year without knowing what it was. =X

at least you've got an answer now, but that sounds like a nightmare to change everything to try and ease if off! Hopefully there will be some suitable alternatives you can try, to avoid things that you can't have squishes Thanks! :D I'm still amazed how well the top stitching came out, considering my previous fails at sewing obviously straight lines 😊 And Niamh says thank you - I wanted to try and match the background as much as I could ;) That's a fantastic outfit today! :D

whoa, that's a super spectrumy outfit today, what's the dress? :D hehe at least Jean keeps him on the straight and narrow when it comes to baby dragons ;) It wouldn't do for Paul to get in trouble with the Ministry for keeping a dragon illegally :P Thanks :D I thought Niamh could go and visit the beach, to compensate for our wet & windy weather yesterday ;) Have they settled in ok so far? :D (keep reading :P)

[edit] The top I was working on yesterday morning, complete with 'shelf bra' (basically a crop-top shaped underlayer, with elastic at the base).... the pattern didn't come with a shelf bra option, so I fudged it as I went :P That just needs hemming to finish it off ;) The front part has a knot detail (which was a pain to sew, so the part underneath the 'knot' is actually hand stitched 😊) It doesn't look as good on the hanger as it does when it's being worn laughs It's not forest coloured - it's fruit polo Polar Bears 😇

And the v-neck I started last week, but abandoned because the V was a bit wonky (I stretched one side of the band more than the other) 😊 When it's being worn, it looks more wonky than it does on the hanger.... Not sure if I'll unpick the V band and see if I can get it to lie better, of it I'll just hem it and keep it wonky....

I love those patterns on the fabric a lot! V necks are tricky I think you're doing a great job! Fantastic work! I am sure you'll get it perfect with enough practice too, nobody does it right the first few times. That knot shirt sounds difficult to do!

I want to make the jeans with patch as well. I am thinking about using an older pair of jeans I might donate to do it to and see how it works. It was either that or sew some rainbow or teal-berry-pink ribbons across the pockets and down the legs. ^^

thanks :D The knot shirt isn't too terrible.... but then this will be the third I've made (albeit the first with a self-drafted shelf bra :P), but I've only done one v-neck before I think, and I've never used this particular method for doing the binding on the V until this shirt! You almost want some lace for that bit down the leg (assuming you aren't a whizz at embroidery), but I reckon teal-berry-pink ribbons would look awesome! :D

it suits her perfectly! :D Just don't let the Minister for Magic overhear him claiming that :P hehe she wanted to help get the rust & paint off the wheelbarrow.... of course there isn't a wearable barrow, so she just had to play in a mechanic's shop instead 😇 I think the wonky v-neck was simply down to how much I stretched the binding - it's meant to be stretched evenly across the entire neckline, and looking at it again, I definitely stretched one side more than the other 😊

Yea, I was thinking lace would be best - lace butterflies and daisies. I would go with other things but they are impossible to find. And ribbon, I have to find some cute patterned ribbon.

hugs I am sorry for the migraine today! It seems that they are bringing you down a lot lately so I am really sorry for you. :( I had a nasty set this week too. Today I was so dizzy I felt like my feet were parallel to the ground directly behind me, it was strange. Mostly because the dizzy sensation tended to hover right at that feeling/point and did not complete a circle-wave which is what it normally does. Anyways, I am sorry you are unwell. I hope resting is helping. <3
