I've had a long day. threw away two of my dead plants, cleaned the pots, repoted two plants, watered a couple other ones. Did some sewing, made dinner, did dishes-- I'm tired haha.

Thanks :D I got the trousers today, so I had to let her try them ;) Aww that's a shame, as those ferns do look pretty neat. googles the Parlour Palm I've got one similar to that - mine's a bit like Goldilocks when it comes to water, in hating too much or not enough. Last autumn, I bought 12 white-fruiting strawberry plants. I took 4 down to the allotment last week and planted them out, and since then the other 8 in pots in the garden have died :K I'll have to check up on the allotment ones tomorrow, but I'm just hoping that those ones will actually grow & fruit, otherwise it'll have been quite a pricey (failed) experiment!

nods I do need to replace a few normal strawberry plants that didn't survive the spring snow(!) but I've finally got the replacement raised bed ordered, so I'm hoping that might arrive this coming week, so I can get on and get that all tidied up & planted before they start to flower! ....and maybe this year I'll try making strawberry lollies, and dipping some of the fruit in chocolate too :P

well it died. I do have another little one in an 8inch pot. Its a parlour palm. I also have several ponytail palms, which are actually succulents but they do well for me xd

we covered ours in frost cloth so hope ours are ok. Oh hope this bed is not broken. Oooh i want some haha

Oh I like the ponytail palms, we sued to have some of those in our kitchen.

I reckon yours will be fine - mine were left uncovered, so they were exposed to the elements.... and the deer that managed to nibble a hole in the netting :K ;) hehe same here! I also ordered an aluminium frame for the net to go over, so that should hopefully be a lot more stable than just using bamboo canes! laughs if the lollies work, I'll take a photo :P I don't think frozen lollies would travel in the post all that well :P

I'll have to take a photo of the palm tree I've got the garden (in a large pot) at some point ;) I used to have a Torbay Palm, but that died years ago, so we got a Cordyline to replace it :P

Yesterday evening we had a spectacular thunderstorm - and I (finally!) managed to get some photos of the lightning! :D ....I did also have about 350 photos that missed the lightning by a split second laughs :P

You got lightning photos - how amazing!! Not going to lie, I once sat down and took over 3,000 pictures trying to catch lightning (I had to empty my card several times) and I manged to capture only 2 bolts the entire time. :( That being said it was not a ton of lightning in the storm unlike some from Louisiana I've been in where you couldn't miss the lighting in a picture if you tried. lol

arriving in the right amount of pieces would be good :) the migraine is mostly gone but I had running trips to the loo since 5am. My tummy is being a brat. I was going to make roast chicken for Sunday tea but since I'm not sure how much cooking I'd want to bother with, I opted for chicken legs and rice. Figuring the rice will be easy on my tummy. tired thank you :) er haha the thought never occurred to either of us so probly not ;) oooh I love the pictures. Stunning!
