I really (really) do love the rainbow colors. I even showed my mom who says it's perfect and loves it! We both wish we could see you walking down the street with a rainbow chicken!

I thought that as well when I first tried pairing them together! It is a bg I don't get to use often but I had to get it because it reminded me of a Kinkade painting. The other bg and wig I like with this griffin are these.

takes a few steps back from Sorn's striking outfit He's looking amazing! :D The plumber's turned up already (about ten past ten - they told us they'd arrive any time before 1pm), so hopefully the sink won't be too challenging for them to unblock. Sparky's having a great time chirping to them, but I'm not sure what he'll make of their 'vacuum cleaner' style thing they use to unblock the pipes :P Thanks :D I thought I'd add in the leaf-covered walkway thing, as the background didn't really seem to fit the rest of the outfit without it ;) oooo they look fantastic! :D

We had thought about getting Sparky a proper budgie bath that fixes onto the side of the cage, but the last one we had for this cage didn't look all that sturdy.... and Sparky's heavier than Sid was! :P I read somewhere that you can give a budgie a wet piece of lettuce for them to have a bath on, so I might try that and see if he gets the idea ;)

Most of them aren't designed to hook over the cage door, but I don't think we could achieve getting a stand-alone budgie bath into the cage with water in it! ;) And yep, we usually have some lettuce in the fridge, so once we get warmer weather, I'll definitely give that a go :D Sid never got the hang of getting in a budgie bath (he preferred showers), but I am curious to know if Sparky would approve, given the way he adores having a wash! :D

it absolutely reeked while they were clearing it, but it was all done quite quickly :) The chap was heading back to his van to move it (he'd parked on next door's driveway by mistake), and Sparky chirped at him, so the chap stopped for a chat before moving the van ;) Sparky loved the sound of the hoover thing, and all the running water afterwards was even more fun for him to talk to ;) :D Thanks :D It was a mix of several random things, so I'm amazed it worked together laughs I love the seal & kestrel look today, they fit that background perfectly! :D

the majority of budgie baths seem to be made for the bird to be out of their cage when they have a wash.... Sparky makes enough mess from inside his cage! ;) But I agree that the simpler solutions are definitely the best :D Considering Sparky was so jumpy when we first got him, he's got a lot more confident with random noises - when the door slammed shut yesterday (it got caught by the breeze as the back door was open at the same time), he didn't even look round, but just carried on talking to his reflection in the mirror! ;)
