SO I went to the petshop and bought a plant/cave thingy for my tank. i had a coupon. Then i sanded my shelf and put it up which required moving several things from the wall and putting them back up. Took awhile but now thats done so hopefully i can get the backdrop and gravel soon so I can get the water running and get fish. -is tired-

Yes, I was glad it was finally warm enough for me to scrub the coop and bathe the chickens. :-) Hehe, I thought you would! :D I was really please with how well the color came out, I wasn't expecting it to be that bright. I did buy the neon food coloring though, so that should have given me a hint. xD That's good, I am really glad you feel better! :-) I bet it will look even more interesting against her colorful feathers. xD Ooo, sounds like you had another busy day! 😮 whoa, that's a striking HA today! :D Thanks :D That's the blackberry plant - it's been growing along the ground for 3 years, so I figured it was time it actually had a proper support to grow up ;) We do also have raspberry plants, but they're autumn-fruiting ones, so thankfully they don't need any supports (they get cut down to ground level once they've finished fruiting for the year) ;)

....now that just sounds weird, adding grated chocolate to it! :P If you haven't unlocked him as a challenger yet, you just need to....

I found most of the images on deviantArt as cutouts, so that's quite a bit of layering on Splodge's profile ;) I had probably 36 strawberry plants in one raised bed, and another 28 in the other, so even with having lost some, there should be plenty of fruit this year ;) And I bought 15 'fancy' strawberry plants (5 pink-flowered, and 10 white-fruit) varieties to try out as well ;)

laughs we started out with 9 strawberry plants - I gave away a lot of the runners over the years, but I kept some, hence how we had so many ;) Almost everyone on the allotment site has at least three of our strawberry plants :P

it looks perfect! :D I'm still working on that one ;) Thanks :D I got the background yesterday, so I thought I'd let Niamh go for a walk along the coast ;) I decided the skirt was as good as it was going to get, so I've gone on and cut out the pieces from linen and started making it ;) For a first attempt at a zip fly, it looks pretty good :D I've just got the side seams to bind and top stitch, then the waistband.... that's Tuesday's task (or maybe Monday - we've got the plumber hopefully coming on Monday to sort out the kitchen sink which stopped draining on Friday (just after the plumber finished work for the week :K), so it's not likely I'll get out in the afternoon)

I used to grow strawberries before moving and had at least 30 plants in the garden area designated for them. Now I have none but I do want some.

It just really needed to be done. xD I changed the straw out regularly throughout the winter, and wiped down the perches and stuff, but didn't really have a chance to hose everything down and scrub it, since the water would have frozen. ;) Thanks! :-) Yeah, I am glad I went with the neon. whoa, that's a super outfit! You do a great job with all those deep pinks! :D That should last quite a long time then! Sparky's moulting again (I'm sure his moults are never ending!), but where he has those weird feathers around his eye (a vet friend suspects it's Polyfolliculitis) he's been rubbing his face against the bars / toys / everything he can reach, and has made it bleed a couple of times. I'm not sure if he's breaking off feathers and they're bleeding, or if it's where he's rubbing the skin.... he had a spray bottle shower yesterday, and seemed to enjoy getting his head soaking wet, but I think we might need to find something that will soothe his face a bit for him. Thanks :D It's the - I wanted something that looked suitably starry ;)
