: Well yes, my sword has runes on it. Weldon found a smallish sword in the Armory and had the blade smith rework it, you know, anneal it so that it could be engraved. The runes are ancient weasel runes from our clan and they spell out my tribal names (Brigitta, Seraphina, Yvonne) , my craft and my linage. There are also some runes that are blessings, perhaps a curse or two and a pink unicorn rune in honor of Benjamin Woodfern, one of the greatest warriors of our tribe (called Benji the Greaser) who single-pawed saved the entire watershed from The Great Fire of 1964. He had a pink unicorn on his sword that my forefather Donner Wheezle put there at the request of Benji's youngest daughter, Sabine. I saw that sword in the LoreMaster's hall whilst on my quest and I insisted that, if I ever had a sword, I wanted a pink unicorn rune on my sword. Weldon didn't let me down. It's not a pink fluffy unicorn dancing on rainbows though. Just saying.

That'd be fun and I do plan on having him with us, when I'm recovered, at the comic/game store that we play at. I think we're going to either call him Michael and whatever variant of of Michael there is or maybe Kainoa. WHY are we using my real name on here?? It took me a long time to actually LIKE my real name. There was a time period I hated [b]HATED[b] it. I couldn't understand why on earth my birth mother would give it to me. ESPECIALLY since she could never spell it the same way twice. OMG she was horrible at it as are my relatives. I gave up trying to correct them over it. It is spelled Dolores...first official document. BUT I have had family (including birth mom spell it) Delores (which is common spelling for it too), Deloris, Dalores, Doloris, Dalores, Doloras. It just goes on. Its like people have vowel issues and put them wherever/however they want. I gave up caring how my name is spelled long long time ago.

so I just did a quick post about my good news. I was suppose to go monday to talk to loan agent, but she wasnt felling well so rescheduled for Wednesday. I went in with all my paper work etc to talk to her about going forward. I was worried to run my credit cus my one card hadn't reported yet. BUT I had seen where my score seemed high enough. SO we risked it and ran the score. BOOM! I was good. I was so freaked out. The lady told me I should teach a class about it. That I went in got advice and 2 months later I was sitting there with a loan to go and buy a house. NOW to start looking. I will be meeting with my realestate agent next week early on to discuss going forward and finding a place. He told me to start looking online so we know what I will be wanting. I found a place that I kinda like and think it would be good...

I believe Eric did it out of respect for his grandfather and dad since they were two important people in his life. Both no longer here, so no he is head of the family. If we had a girl, then she's have his mom's first name, she passed in 1999, and my grandmothers and mom's middle name.

You are family too and besides the phone there are other ways to communicate, but I'm sure the phone would probably be easier for you anyway :)

I got a lot names. It's bad enough that my mother saddled me with Frieda Brigitta Seraphina Yvonne Wheezle Von Steuben. My daddy simply called me Freddie. Bretton called me arrow-butt, my twin called me Stinky, once. The old crones in the village called me The Little Angel, (hoping I could conjure up babies to fill their empty wombs) Azimodious called me The Mutant, The White Devil, The Disease, The Freak, The Curse, The Right Hand of Al Gore, Harriet the Wise called me The Little One, the Travelers called my Pusomori (Little Flea), Madison calls me Fuzz Butt, Li Li calls me Fluffy-Tail-Cute-Female attached, and Welly calls me Sweetheart. Is it any wonder that I had a difficult time coming to terms with who I was growing up? I'm better now. All my friends call me Freddie.

Every time I look at a place online...the next thing I know it is PENDING sale. It is so disappointing. The one I posted JUST last night...Woke up this morning...PENDING! sobs BUT I did call my loan person today to clarify something. When looking on the websites they have a mortgage calculator. You put in the numbers of stuff and tells you how much monthly it will be. I kept putting in that it was a 10 year loan cus I didn't know. Its actually a 30 year so it helps with the money a bunch. I was approved for about 80k. BUT that was with saying that the payments including property tax and house insurance are $620ish a month....They don't go much higher then what you pay monthly in rent cus they know obviously you can afford that if you have been living somewhere for so long. ANYWAYS she had plugged in property taxes was 900 a year. WELL the homes show what was paid in taxes for the past few years and most of them around here are lower then 400. SO that a plus. I am not sure how insurance figured out tho. She put that number as 900 a year too. Her numbers she used gave me the 80k. BUT if the numbers are 400 on both etc I can go a good deal more

Since I live here I havent done the tourist things. But yes fishing suppose to be good. They do a tournament in March/April on the lake. Also YES I drive the Titanic daily. There is also a Butterfly Museum. Silver Dollar City is an amusement park. Then there is also a Hollywood Wax Museum and a Ripleys Beleive it or Not. And lots of different shows.

No I wish it was me. I am so sad about the Pending. Now I have to keep looking. I need to find something similar with space tho. Kitties want their leg room. LOL

if you can try to get insurance with your car insurance or switch when you find a place for a better rate. Seems to be the way to keep your rates low every so many years but silly me, I get lazy and just suck it up and end up paying too much. One of the downfalls of my grandparents mentality rubbed off on me. So property is every month or yearly? If it's yearly you could save easily $100 a month and have whatever it is you need and then some for the next year. Cheaper than over here. Our property taxes used to be around that and now it's easily over 1k a year. Lots of factors go into the increase as well such as say, people fixing up their homes. Which shouldn't have anything to do with you and your land but it does. I get it to a degree but it's one of those things that makes me go uh, yeah that's nuts, lol.

Also, just a suggestion that was shared with me when we first started looking. You can take it or leave it but a thought none the less. If you don't have enough furniture or what have you for all the rooms, you might want to factor that in. Not saying you'll go out and buy brand new items for every room but it is something a lot of people do. So you could say 70-75k is your max price point unless you're not planning to furnish with more than you already have for the time being. But I would suggest saving at least 1k aside if possible for your power, water, gas or anything else you may need to connect.

Annnd just a thought what if you purchased land and put say a mobile home or something similar on the land? Would that be ideal for you?
