Was it your decision to do to a c-section or the doctors? I know my first sister-in-law tried pushing first, but then had to do a c-section and the recovery for that was horrible according to her. My mom had to help for a few weeks after my nephew was born. Oh yeah, I keep hearing women get really strong during that time and almost break things including yelling and whatever other emotion is going on.

, no. doctors. both the kids were late. the girl started to come, went to the hospital. but after laying there for HOURS AND OMG THE PAIN they finally decided to take her (Like 12 hours later!) (the doctors said they had never seen that before. where the baby started to come, and then went back "up" in there!) hahaaaa that's my girl.

and since i was already a couple of weeks late, the doc said that she would just take the babe. it's the only time they actually gave me the 'good' stuff (in drugs) really knocked me out.

even though i did wake up for a min. asking for the baby as soon as my eyes opened. i HAD to hold her. once i held her, and hugged her and told her i loved her. i gave her back to the nurse and passed back out. lol

oh. and as soon as i got to the hospital room, i sent the man home. i was already starting to be in pain, and i knew he wouldn't be able to handle it.

and he's not a good one to have around, when you're sick or hurting. he's kind of an ass. heh. and sure enough. the baby didn't even come till the next day. so he would have gone stir crazy waiting at the hospital for me.

heh.

:D

and the boy (first one) the doctors said, "come in at this time, and i'll take him" went in, turned out i had to wait an hour, the nurse comes to me and says, "the doctor just had an emergency, a twin birth ahead of time, can you wait?" and i said "sure"

lol when she finally hooked me up to the monitor, etc, she says "oh. you're having contractions" and I said..."I am?" hahahaaaa they felt like 'little' cramps that i might get right before my period. hahahaaa

of course. with the girl. my grandmother had to tell me the baby was coming! hahahaaaaaa and that was purely by accident :D i was on the phone with her talking, and i mentioned how i was going to have to change my undies AGAIN. that i kept having little "leakage"

and she actually raised her voice and said "GERILYNN THE BABY IS COMING"

hahahaa my grandmother NEVER RAISED HER VOICE. seriously. NEVER in the 40 something years i had her. grin. so i paid attention.

finished making dinner, jim walked in the door. and i made him eat, before we left for the hospital.

hahahaaaaaa

ok. sorry. you probably didn't care about all that crap. LOL

TO BAD.

It's interesting hearing the different birth stories and yours are pretty crazy! At least you didn't shower after. One of my old co-workers told me that's what she did and then went to the hospital cause she didn't like to be wet or dirty lol. Then my cousin's wife had their second kid in the car right before they go to the hospital. I was like "woah!" Brave lady! You're welcome to tell me anything, I'm sure I'll be experiencing all of this soon enough :P

I got nothin' Love, be interesting to see if your grandbabies-shh! You're too young to be a Grandme're' are late or on time

LOL Baby's and Mommy's health and well being are primary and I'm sure Eric would agree, but the order of secondary names are a real close second

LOL My Mom always thought I'd be a banker, she went into labor a few minutes to 9 am and I was delivered at 5 pm

So you were a 9 to 5iver lol. That's funny. I didn't ask how long it took for me, but I was born at 9:32 p.m. I'll have to call my mom to see. I'd love to have an quick labor also.

Nicknames you mean? I'm surprised Tea hasn't been on to chime in lately lol. Maybe she threw in the towel?

LOL The closest I've gotten to bankers hours in my professional history is 8-4:30, close but no hour long lunch break. Its weird, the more advanced medical science is the longer labor seems to go, Mommy Merlot. Back in the time of our great great grandparents, Mum would have been in the fields, stopped long enough to deliver junior and gone back to work...now 12 hours is ridiculously short

LOL No, Leilani, your Baby is going to have like 110 names...have to name him after every person in LRVT Hot dogdancesI win cause she lost! She lost cause I won!

Think about it too, back in the day women were a bit different then we are now. They worked until they gave birth and kept going. I'm not really sure when it changed to where women were told to rest after giving birth. Probably gotta do some research on that.

Haha, yeah poor kiddo will be confused on what his name really is :P Don't celebrate too early! She may be back.

That is true and OMG and before too, the first time my friend Samantha was preggers, I think she started Maternity Leave a few weeks before she gave birth, the last time (Baby#5) she was just shy of 9 months but there were a lot of complications and issues when she was carrying Wyatt LOL If our boss had his way she would have had to wait til her water broke

Just so long as he responds to Chat, Sis and nope, the former fat boy has sung and did the victory dance, so 's going to have to til your next baby

I'm praying for no complications with the baby while in the womb and during labor. I'm glad Eric is letting me stay at home since this is our first kid and we know he'll take up all of my time, but I will work again part time in a few years, just not now.

LOL, y'all may not get another chance. I'm not sure I want to have a second kid in my 40s :P I know women who have young kids in their 40s, but I'm still up in the air.

Wait...are you off work now? First time around is always rough...you hear the horror stories about pregnancies from friends and family but it doesn't really prepare you for constantly feeling tired, hungry and really emotional. Once little Walter Michael is born is Poppy Eric going to take paternity leave too? LOL No, I'm serious, Dad taking time off to help with Baby is huge here

Oh, Honey, so many things can go wrong when Mommy's over 40. Its your call, though I'm just saying I like having you around-don't get sappy on me-and it would suck having to break in a new little sister

Did the vehicle come with a type of return policy? Otherwise once you drive off the car lot, most of the time it immediately drops half its value. Some vehicles keep most of their value though. I don't know why that is...but it is that way which is really stupid. I've never sold a car. So I know nothing about it. First vehicle I totaled so we just signed it over to the towing person. Second car I traded it in and I'm sure I got more from the trade in than from me selling it myself because they didn't know there were transmission problems with it. And everyone was telling me i'd probably only get $200 for a trade in for it but it was more like $700 to $800. The whole entire front end suspension also needed to be completely rebuilt.

Okay...just read 's ping. Forgot she said something and went looking to figure out what I needed to fix. I'm so sorry! I didn't know the black background with white text would be bothersome. It's perfect for me because I can't look at the screen for long to read a bunch if it is white background and black text. The white hurts my eyes. It's also the way my kindle app is set up. I read it like that constantly, even in the light because it is so much easier on my eyes. But I'll play around. Right now my eyes hurt just from replying to everyone. My glasses also have that yellow tint in them for the blue light too. I'm tempted to buy the more yellow ones for computers to wear overtop my glasses to see if that will help. I have to wear them overtop because well...I need my glasses to see. XD

I'm that person that I can hit myself extremely hard and not bruise but wake up with random bruises when I haven't hit anything. Although I was getting bruises from carrying heavy boxes though and that was before the medication I was taking. But holding something heavy live that in the same spot over and over again definitely can carry some damage. Yes. Puppy. We were told she'll probably top out at 80lbs. But not sure...with the size she is now, we could see her being heavier than that. Because of those 3 breeds, the golden retriever is the smallest/lightest. The other two can be over 100lbs for the females. And apparently she takes after her daddy. I never met the parents. My mom had when she went to pick up the puppy.

With a dark green background I'd still need white text. Or I'll try it and see what thinks. If it's easier I can leave it if not, try something else.

For The Pepper, how do these colors work??

Yes, I haven't had a job since July. Having a kid takes a lot of time and you are right, there'll be emotions, feelings, and everything else all over the place, especially from me for awhile. I hope his work will let him off for a few weeks, but he has already told them that he won't be working these hours that he is now.

I'm already at high risk for being over 35, but in my 40s, it may be a bit worse. There is always fostering and adoption if we decide on another one.

they do have a return policy of sorts but neither myself or my husband were made aware during our shopping or signing the paperwork. I was only aware of what Hyundai calls Shopper Assurance at the end of August when I was searching through a local group and found someone who works at the location commenting to someone about the program. The Shopper Assurance program allows the customer to return within 3-days and make an exchange for a new vehicle even if you sign a contract and leave the lot. I know not a lot of dealers do so, so I was under the impression that was the case. I was so frustrated that we weren't told by the sales guy or anyone else (even finance) for not telling us this. It would have given us time to think a little more to be honest OR you know bring the car back and try another one out to be certain. I'm not sure why that wasn't mentioned at any time and I hope it was just a fluke for the day to be honest. All I do know is if we purchase again from Hyundai we will make sure we know what is going on.

As for trade ins a dealer can usually give up to ten thousand for a trade in simply due to the fact they can usually repair whatever it is wrong for far less than the customer can so that's likely why you got more than you would have otherwise.

I'm looking into car seat covers, a steering wheel cover and some other things that will help reflect the heat. I should also be able to get tinting since it was part of a trade off for a survey on the sales guy. I believe I answered everything for a perfect score to get the free tint. Which should help. I just cannot believe they make black an option for interiors down here... I can understand grey but black should be something that costs extra because of the way it holds heat. Ick.

For the pepper I think the color combo works wonderfully! Thank you for the update, now I can read without squinting like I'm staring at an eclipse, lol.

That site gives detailed information on each crystal, so i can choose which ones will fit me most. There's also a shop called Crystal Connection near me, that has A LOT of stones there to choose from, so I'm set :D

' The site looked pretty informative, we have a few rock shops in town but they mainly do jewelry, I'd have to go to Morro Bay or Los Osos if I wanted to learn about the properties and traits of stones and crystals, it is pretty cool though. I had a Rock Tumbler as a kit but it met with a misfortunate accident
