Lenore just sits and listens to the conversations going on. When Merlin starts talking about Magnus Lenore remembers her one encounter with the werewolf in the Forbidden Forest. She hadn't gotten to know him because there had been too much drama going on. Glancing quickly to be sure Merlin wasn't watching (as she wasn't sure what he would think as a prefect) Lenore tapped her glass with her wand filling it with a sweet white wine.

Joe looked thoughtful after the girl's question. "I think that I have traits of a couple of houses, but will probably end up in House Slytherin...and I would be fine with that. Is there a house you would prefer..? "

Joe gave Lottie a reassuring smile. "The din is getting...well, loud."

It had been been a few weeks since either one had spoken to anyone besides some housemates. The two had been overwhelmed with school work. Millie had remembered the hurtful things said to her back in the forest and the thought made her anxious enough to want to run and hide in the library until the end of the term. She slowly made her way to private room when Emmett joined her. He had been unsure about coming as well but told Millie it was time to leave the library for a day.

The two entered the room and approached the large table. She opened her mouth to say hello but no sound left her mouth. Emmett spoke her in place, "Gut day all. May ve join you?" Millie managed a small wave and could feel her body tensing up. It was almost like she had forgotten how to be social.

ellenor replied joe maybe Hufflepuff they have the trait of friendship and loyalty and kindness but its a house that seems overlooked.

Lottie continued to listen quietly to the conversation. It both nice and weird to be around people again.

Lottie blinked at Ellenor. "Well...if I hadnt been sorted into Slytherin...I figured a Hufflepuff would have been the next choice."

"Take it easy, kiddo. You're learning. No one is born knowing everything... I learned more about this once I was choked by a vampire." Kyros chuckled, finding some weird humor in the situation in retrospect, though at the time he was terrified. "Don't worry, there's no need for you to be shaking in your chair like that! Sorry if I was a bit too hard on you. I'm... Not good with feeling things." He said apologetic. Damn, the kid must thing I'm a mood swinger! I hope I didn't scare him much... He felt embarassed.

A mischievous grin came to his face when talking to Drew. Finally, someone who could appreciate a good prank! "I fully agree, mister! It would be great to discuss technique with a fellow artist. I'm sure we can find some interesting things to tell each other." He winked, laughing at how Merlin seemed aprehensive. "Don't worry, Mr. Prefect... We won't let you know anything~"

Joe nodded. "Those things interest you, hmm..? Slytherins are supposed to be quite loyal as well. I think just about any house has its good qualities, and bad. They are all very different from what I am used to, so we shall see. "

Joe looked up and over at the other table when he heard Kyros say he had been choked by a vampire. When the conversation changed subject, he turned his attention back to the ladies at his table. ((ooc lmao should be really cool :) ))

Joe watched the two newcomers enter. They appeared to be a couple, and from their body language the girls looked nervous. 'I guess she will fit right in,' he thought. He watched them head over to the large table, then turned his attention back to his own.

Emmett saw a girl wave to them. He took Millie's hand and walked to the table. "Hallo. I'm Emmett" he turned to Millie and squeezed her hand. "Hi, I'm Millie. Thank you for waving us over. I've seen you in the common room but haven't had a chance to say hello before this. Too much work and so little time." Emmett pulled the chair out for Millie and she sat down and he pushed her back in. He took the seat next to her.

Niall nodded wishing he could evaporate. Maybe he should go? He could give the pocket money back and wander the village on his own until it was time to go. He looked solidly at his plate as bright red as ever. "I'll go," he said standing up. He hadn't meant to make things so uncomfortable. “I-I’m sorry, I just… I didn’t…”

It wasn't that Magnus was upset about Niall's reaction. He gave Merlin and Drew a half smile. "'E wasn't being negative. "E's fine." Magnus saw Millie and Emmett arrive and waved, “’Ey guys.” Might as well hide the reaction he had learning about wizarding orphanages.

Joe was surprised when the couple came over and joined them. "hello, Emmet, Millie, I am Joe and this is Lottie and..I am sorry, I never asked your name.." he said, looking at the girl he had been speaking to.

joe oh its ellenor she replied smiling.

Joe gave Ellenor a small smile. "Thank you, and sorry about that."

He rubbed the top of his head, still trying to get used to the buzz cut. Emmett turned to Joe. "Hallo Joe. Gut to see you again Lottie." Millie said, "Hi Joe, I'm Millie. It's nice to meet you. She smiled at Lottie and nodded. "Hey Magnus. It's nice to see you"

"Doin' alright," Magnus replied. "Nice ta see you too Millie. Ready for exams?"

Lottie looked concerned when Emmett and Millie joined...but then she saw Millie was as stressed as she was. "Hello Emmett...Millie.." she said quietly, they seemed to reflect her own feelings. She was sure she saw Millie in the library on one of her own trips to get more books to occupy herself. She leaned in slightly and gently asked Millie, "Have you been staying away from...things...as well?" she was being genuine, it was a bit disturbing to her that everyone else seemed so...adjusted.

She looked at Ellenor, "I also like that Hufflepuffs are loyal and friendly...I am admittedly..introverted, but I try...truth is I think my ambition won over...even if my dreams and goals...are not always...large?" she chuckled softly thinking about saving for simple things like yarn...or a whimsical item to add to her collection. "Every Hufflepuff Ive met has seemed quite friendly, they never seem to...overwhelm my...sensitivities. I think you will make many good friends there."

She then looked at Joe and could see he was observing everyone. She tried to engage him in conversation about his school but the comment caught in her throat. So instead she looked back down at her coffee.

Millie turned to Lottie. "Yes I have. Too much school work. I'm taking 11 classes plus Ancient Studies." She really wanted to run her fingers through her hair to help her nerves but decided to reach and take a drink of water instead. "How have you been?" she asked

ellenor replied to - Lottie she whispered i'm introverted too.

"I'm not old enough for OWLs but I'm ready for me normal ones--I think." He gave her a smile.

"I'm not either but I will be next year. I'll be taking 12 then dropping a few core classes, such as Astronomy and Herbology. I'll be glad to be finished with the term. I'm ready to go home for a few weeks. Do you have any plans for the break?"
