"Seeya, mate," Eros waved Merlin () off before checking again to make sure Gaia had not heard Merlin about the date thing. He still kept the flower and card behind him as he continued chatting with Magnus ().

"Regret, no. I guess not," Eros replied to the Ravenclaw's earlier question with a slight smile. "Don't know if I want to make this a regular thing though. Don't want people to start thinking I'm nice and fun to hang with it. I think I met my quota on friends," he added light-heartedly, although also partly serious. "For what it's worth, though, I'm glad you made me talk to Niall. I'm not about scaring little kids. At least, not off the pitch."

Magnus waved to Merlin. As his friend left.

"Too late," Magnus said with a laugh, "I've already learnt you are nice and fun to hang with--as long as you aren't brooding because a certain someone isn't around." He smirked. "I'm glad too. Cos I think even if you won't admit it, you really like 'im."

Paddy tore the wrapping from her present, and gasped as she pulled out two books tied together with a piece of ribbon. Reading the titles, she found herself grinning madly, "whoa, thank you Gaia!" she said, ridiculously pleased with her books. "I might eventually make the Quidditch team yet," she said to Magnus, showing him her copies of "Quidditch for Dummies" and "How to improve your broom flying in 10 easy steps". "Or at least I should be able to fly without risking anyone else's safety," she added with a grin in Magnus' direction, with the thought of her first broom practise flying into her mind.

Paddy took the piece of paper from Niall, noticing how sad he seemed to be leaving the group. "it won't be long before you're at Hogwarts, just mind your new kitten doesn't chase the post owls away though," she replied with a mischievous smile.

"Those are lovely! Best of luck with the flying practice Paddy" Rosie laughed. It seemed Gaia had found the perfect gifts for everyone. She glanced over at Eros watching him fiddle with the bouquet behind his back. She thought Gaia and Eros would make a great couple. The guy had been flustered talking about his whether today was a 'date' or not with Magnus. It showed he cared as well as all the little gestures she had observed throughout the day. Eros would practically light up when Gaia was around.

Rosie smiled softly accepting the piece of paper with Niall's address. "I'll be sure to write you loads until you start school here!! Then we can just talk normally. Be sure to ask the madame if you can come visit us." she grinned. She was sad to see him leave, but knew they'd see him soon again. She patted his shoulder and waved when he left the gelateria to go home. "I guess that's it for us then. I'll be going back to the castle. Anyone wanna walk with me?" Rosie asked the group. She gathered the gifts she was given and put as much as she could fit in her bag. She held the closed music box to her chest and made her way to the exit.

Magnus beamed as Paddy enjoyed her presents. And he giggled at her comment. “’Ey you’re getting much better. Don’t sell yourself short.” He stood. “I can walk with ya.” He grinned and said to Eros, “See ya later mate. We’ll go to that ‘arpies practice and you can pretend to be miserable.” He nodded to Paddy. She’d catch up if she was ready to leave.

Exiting with Rosie he stretched and thought of a nice warm bath. It’d been a good day. “’Ave a good time?”

Magnus offered to go along with Rosie so they left the shop together and strolled back to Hogwarts. On the way back Magnus asked her about her day. "Today was great!" she smiled. "I liked the greengrocer's the most. I just haven't been in a garden like that for a long time.." she continued. "Did you have fun? Had plenty to eat?" she asked with a big grin. Rosie carefully skipped a short bit holding on to her bag.

Eros gave Magnus a lazy wave off, smiling until he realized most everyone had left. He turned around and saw that was at the table with her ice cream. With the flowers and card still behind him, he casually wandered over. "Hey," he greeted like it was the first time he was seeing her today. Not really sure how to preface the conversation, he just held out the flower and card in front of him. "These are for you," he said, enunciating each word carefully as he he looked down at the flowers.

Paddy noticed Eros getting ready to give Gaia the flowers he'd bought, and decided it was time she was heading back to the castle to give them a few minutes alone. "Wait for me!" she called, jogging to catch up with Rosie and Magnus.

Gaia went quiet when she realized he got her a card and flowers "These are..." Gaia took in their scent "beautiful!" She looked at the boy "you did this for me?" She couldn't stop smiling but she was a little surprised. She never got flowers from a boy before and she wasn't sure what to do. They were alone, but there was nothing awkward about them being alone. "Thank you." Gaia reached towards Eros and kissed him quickly but gently. She was still getting used to that.

He was still finding it weird to be kissed, although, it didn't make him tense up anymore. He had lost count of how many times had kissed him. Eros looked around, trying to remember where he had left his ice cream bowl. Finding it on a nearby table along with the gift bag that Magnus had given him, he grabbed them and sat at Gaia's table, across from her. "I don't know if you like flowers. You seem like you would like flowers, but not sure how you feel about receiving flowers. I always thought it was a weird thing to rip flowers off the ground, thus killing them, just to woo some girl, but it seems like tradition so...," he was starting to ramble so he shoved a spoonful of ice cream into his mouth to shut himself up. He was staring at his waffle bowl of ice cream for a bit before looking across to hear. "Today was okay," he said softly with a shrug, rather nonchalantly. He then looked back down to his ice cream. "Maybe...if you want to, we can do it again sometimes...maybe without the entourage?" Again, he tried to be casual about it.

"Flowers are beautiful. I prefer them in pots. I don't usually like to cut them but if I do I always ask their permission. Seems weird but my family is respectful of nature." Gaia smiled, she has never felt the need to explain her family quirks but she loves flowers and she liked Eros. "I think that is an excellent idea. I won't be distracted and can spend my time with you." She got serious for a minute "I didn't want you to feel obligated to spend time with me so I figured a group outing would help, but I mean, everyone thinks you are a softie now." She giggled.

Magnus nodded, "I 'ad a great time. Got to meet some cool new people too. Like you and Niall." Paddy ran up to them jostling her things. "I know I'm wonderful and all but you don't 'ave to 'urry." He snickered with his joke. "I got two pets today, and some other really neat things. Though 'onstly, I'm looking forward to a nice bubble bath in the prefect's bathroom, sit down with me books and then sleep."
