Merlin entered Las Palmas while yawning. "Hey , long time." He grins and gets a map still not paying attention to anyone else in the room. "I didn't eat anything so I will get tons of food today and especially desserts." He finally looked around and saw several familiar faces and others new to him. He waved to all and signed his name before doing anything else, then entered grabbed a drink from Aquilino and sit down to wait what would come next.

"Ey Merls," Magnus said noticing his friend arrive. Then Merlin went to sit down Magnus wondered if he should join or not.

Niall gave Rosie a shy smile. "O-okay." It was a food tour and the skinny kid hadn't not sampled anything yet.

ellenor entered Las Palmas she went to the sign up sheet and signed her name. she was nervous and she didn't do very well in big groups. she stood looking for somewhere to sit. she wondered if anyone noticed her? she pulled out her book and started reading.

((sorry if that was short its hard for me to role play in big groups))

Joe looked at the young boy, and nodded in a greeting, then continued on his way to the table.

Joe watched the girl approach, and made a motion for her to join him at the table. He gave her a very small smile.

Magnus smiled and decided both wanted to be alone. So he moved away and found some of the samples and then tried to decide where to sit. He went over to Merlin, hoping his friend wanted him there. "'Ey mate," he said. He pulled out his sketchbook from his rucksack.

Merlin smiled to Magnus. "Hey! You arrived, how you feeling? You were gone when I wake this morning, the matron said you were feeling well and that apparently I was too tired because I didn't move all night." Merlin slightly blushed. "I'm sorry I was such a bad nurse, I fell asleep and didn't help at all. Want to sit down? I hope we can look at other shops around too." He looked at the read head boy. "Do you know that kid? He must be new, never seen him before."

"Thanks" she set her bag down and realized she never signed in. She sighed and stood. "be back..." she went up to where the sign up sheet was and waited her turn. She then signed in. She looked to see if coffee was being offered at the drink table, she saw what looked and smelled like some sort of coffee like drink and made herself a cup. Then she made her way back to the shared table and sat down.

"Good to know, and nice to meet you, Niall. Am I pronouncing it right?" Kyros struggled a bit with the word. He wasn't used to the Irish accent, but at least could understand Niall correctly - though he probably couldn't pronounce it right with his own posh accent. "Welcome to Hogwarts, I'm Kyros. I swear, it's not as overwhelming as it looks. And there's no need to be nervous around here, we're all a bunch of nerds." He chuckled, his voice playful and warm. To look at that kid touring made him nostalgic... I sound like an old geezer, geez. "No one here will think ill of you. You can relax and ask any question. I bet everyone will be willing to answer." He smiled, though to be fair he wasn't so sure. A few of the people in there - like the tall guy sitting close by - didn't seem that friendly.

"I didn't know you had chocolate, Lenore..." The sight of those wonderful cauldrons was tempting, but Niall deserved them more... Such a sacrifice. "Either way, we should sit so we can talk better, okay? Would you come along?" He offered to , and , guiding them to one of the available tables. He could see that the mysterious girl and creepy tall guy were now sharing their own table, which he immediately dubbed "mysterious people club".

And they were not the only one close to them. "Oh, hey Magnus! Long time no see. And , hi!" He greeted both his friend and prefect with a friendly wave, before turning his attention back to his tablemates. "Magnus is a Ravenclaw and a nice guy, a great artist. And Merlin is a prefect. A kind and helpful fellow, but you wouldn't like to see him angry." Smirking mischievously, he leaned closer and whispered to the three in a conspiratory tone: "I heard he can turn into a dragon."

Merlin smiled at Kyros and the young boy with him. "Oh hello Kyros, you are all welcome to sit with us if you like and so are you young man, I was just asking Magnus if he knew you because I haven't seen you before. Did you just moved in?" Merlin opened his eyes when he heard Kyros whisper. "Hey, don't scare the kid that's just a student prank, they just say that because I once got angry and growl a bit." He lied just because he had no idea how the kid would react and he wanted that to be a secret yet, everyone already knew.

Rosie chuckled along with . "He's right you know. We are just a big bunchs of nerds here." She filled a dish with a selection of tapas en grabbed two shotglasses and joined the group at the table. She sat next to and placed the food in front of him. Rosie downed the shotglass and swallowed. "Dig in kiddo" she said.

Rosie gasped when Kyros mentioned 's dragon form. If that would be a real thing she would have another reason to look up to the prefect.

Joe nodded and watched as she walked away. Her tail naturally swished just a bit, and it was fascinating to watch. Then she was coming back with some hot beverage. He sniffed, and when she sat back down he asked curiously "Is...that coffee...?"

Then some other people came in, and he heard introductions. Niall, the ginger, Lenore, Kyros the gossip...Magnus is a Ravenclaw, Merlin is a prefect...who is rumored to be able to turn into a dragon. How interesting. Lots of still nervous people....

Wait. So can actually turn into a dragon??? Kyros was stunned for a couple of seconds, finding himself at loss of words. He was supposed to be joking about his prefect's connection to big scaly animals... And apparently was unnowingly straight to the jackpot. "I-I was just trying to break the ice with a joke. Sorry if I went overboard..." He forced himself to smile and wink at them, though he was actually still processing the idea. Perhaps he needed a drink with certain urgency. He took one of the shotglasses brought and drunk into down in one gulp. Once his composure was back, he deemed himself apt to answer Merlin's question. "Ahm... Niall... Is a newcomer, he'll join Hogwarts on the next term. I believe you can explain a few things to him better than I can."

(OOC: I swear, I as a player didn't know Merlin can indeed turn into a dragon. I'm laughing so hard omg)

She looked up at the guy and nodded. "yes...at least I think it is...might be ethnic though." she raised a brow considering it.

She listened to all the conversations, she had a slight smile come to her lips when it was mentioned about Merlin's changing then was replaced with a jaw tight frown that only lasted a few seconds.

She glanced at the boy dubbed Kyros, she had seen him about the common room but hadnt interacted with him.

She rubbed her nose bridge under her sunglasses and tentatively sipped her coffee.

Merlin realized he didn't greet the others so he shyly smiled at Rosie and Lenore. "I'm so sorry ladies, hello I'm such a fool. Should I get you anything? I see Rosie already has drinks, how bout you Len?" He looked at the others. "Anyone wants a drink? Food?"

Joe kept his ears open for other interesting tidbits from various conversations, but engaged in his own as well. He nodded and watched the girl tentatively sip the drink. "Have you been attending Hogwarts long..?" he asked.

((edit: ooc Thanks :) Lee had to leave shortly after the workshop...the trauma from eating that guy was too much for him and he needed some time off, and counseling))

"I'm doin' well, thanks." He smiled, "couldn't elp it, I wanted to go and finish your drawing. But I really appreciate you stayin' the night." He looked shyly at Merlin. He opened his bag and pulled out a large square--his bag had an extendable charm on it. He handed Merlin the framed dragon picture. "I can put it back in me bag till after..." He hoped his friend liked it... "Your broom's 'ere, by the way....Mimsy arrived with it when I were in me dorm with the drawing. I 'ad her put it in your room. Mum put a spell on it to make it less breakable. Top o the line." He looked over at the little boy and shook his head. “No, I ain’t ever seen ‘im before. ‘E barely looks eleven.”

The young boy nodded. “Like the river in Eygpt. Nye-all.” Kyros was being reassuring and he tried to relax though the fact that anyone was talking was unusual. He saw the flick to the cauldron cake and broke it in half and handed it to the other boy. He’d forgotten to thank the girl for giving it too him. What bad manners he had. He followed though his legs felt like rubber.

Magnus smiled brightly, “’Ey Kryos, good to see you again.” He blushed at the good artist comment.

“Nye-all,” he said slowly enunciating his name, “Niall O’Connall.” He shook his head to Merlin. “I-I live in Ireland. Tour. Just turned 11 and will start next term.” He looked curiously at Merlin. “Dragons are great. T-there’s a dragon farm somewhere in Whales I heard…” He was blushing furiously. Rosie gave him some food and he blushed again. “Thank ya.” (hope I got everyone))

Merlin's eyes opened when he saw the beautiful drawing his friend made. "Oh...wow..really? Is that's how I really look like?!" He realized everyone was at the table so he blushed hard and then tried to change it. "I mean, that's amazing work I love it! I would appreciate if you keep it safe for now, I didn't bring a bag. I have something for you too, but will give it to you later. I still want to do something to it."

He hoped no one heard what he said, but that was pretty impossible so when Niall commented about dragons he smiled. "Dragons are the most amazing creatures and yes there is a dragon farm there in Whales, or so I heard. I have a pet Meolc, she is a white dragon and is very beautiful yet still young, yet big enough to eat us all, but she won't she is used to people."

"I was hoping I could bring Thunder today but I had to leave him in my room again." He whispers to Niall. "It's a snake."

Lottie looked up at the guy. "Not really...I transferred from Salem...are you considering transferring?" She was being polite but guarded. Her previous interactions with others had been complicated...

"Salem...," Joe said, and paused, "the girls school..?" He looked thoughtful. "Yes, transferring...probably. It's here or Durmstrang. Got the tour yesterday."

Magnus beamed at how Merlin liked the drawing. He tucked it back into his bag. "No worries," Magnus said unsure what Merlin needed to do but he'd promised not fight the gift.

Niall listened to Merlin and thought it was neat. "I-I thought maybe Kagan was lying about the farm. They like to say things to me to see if I believe them..." Then Niall heard the word thunder and the boy went pale and was shaking violently. "Is there a storm?!" He looked really freaked out and then Merlin finished explaining it was a pet. He tried to recover. "I'd love a pet," he said whistfully, "every one of the animals I've had Madame has made me release." He looked at his food and took a hesitant bite.

Magnus smiled, "No, been there, tis right beside me grandparent's 'ouse in Wales." His eyebrow rose, "Kagan your brother?"

"No," Niall said, "I-I..." he took another bite...
