She nodded to Joe "Welcome" She then listened and gave a smile, "Cats and Snakes are both very popular it seems around here." She seemed surprised that Ellenor knew what a Binturong was. "ya...binturongs are great...usually I have to explain them to people...and then they think I made them up..." she chuckled. "But...I actually like most animals...at the very least tolerate...I tend to connect with the more...abnormal ones...at least I think..." she smiled.

The teenager dropped the quill with a slightly annoyed look on his face, his eyes meeting a young male. Eros rolled his eyes, looking away in annoyance before speaking. "Just watch it, mate," his tone cold. Eros was no longer looking at the kid, his eyes searching the room. "Have you seen Kavanagh?," Eros asked the boy, although it was hard to tell since his eyes weren't on him. Eros was also assuming the kid knew who he was talking about.

Joe looked up at Lottie. "What is a binturong....? I haven't heard of them before. "

He looked at Ellenor. "No....I don't think he wants company.."

"I'm s-sorry." He said shaking. "I-I don't know who that is..." Niall was seriously regretting coming now. "sorry sir." He wanted to flee. He looked for Gaia. But didn't see her.

((ooc sorry I disappeared guys. Had two phone calls back to back and both were like an hour long!! Then I needed food!))

Drew nodded at Kyros with a smile. "Yes, we'll have to be sure to make some time to talk about important things...if I can survive the schoolwork I've let build up."

As Niall left, Drew bit his lip. He didn't want the little boy to feel uncomfortable. Drew was well aware of how that felt and the sense of not fitting in. He looked at Magnus and then rose as well. "Maybe we should go after Niall. We don't need him going off on his own I don't think. And he needs to feel like we want him with us."

ellenor replied lottie joe should we try to help that young boy? he seems to be in trouble?

"Oh... Miss Gaia, sir?" he asked, "she was greeting people and talking about some twins..." He pointed in the direction.

Joe shrugged. "If you want to go ahead, " he said, sipping his coffee. He was paying attention to the situation, but he didnt feel like it was going to turn ugly or anything.

Outfit Not Found

Lottie sighed, damn her kind heart...she stood and walked her short self over to Niall and the tall intimidating Slytherin she had seen about. She knew she was going to freak out the youngling, she leaned down and carefully took Niall by the arm and pulled him up. "You need to breath...you dont want to have a stroke do you." Her tail swished around her ankles. She looked up at Eros and nodded a greeting, she then looked back at Niall she blinked not sure what to expect from him. She then nodded once and turned on her heel and made her way back to the table.

She sat back down. "A binturong is a tree dweller related to the civets and genets...part of the viverridae family." she sipped her coffee. "Also known as a bearcat...though it is neither."

Joe watched Lottie help the boy up and smiled into his coffee cup. Kind hearts, how sweet....

Then Lottie was back and explaining about binturongs. "That's fascinating."

At least Niall was standing now. "Thank ya," he said to the strange girl. He might have been freaked but he'd just met Paddy not too long ago and both seemed kind.

Instead, he just looked in the direction that was pointed before staring back at the stranger. "Right. Thanks, mate," the Slytherin said (), lacking sincerity in his thank you. Just then, someone else ( )intervened. Eros just watched as the scene played out as he slipped his hands into his pocket. He watched the strange female returning to her table afterwards and a small smirk formed on his lips. She seemed interesting, he noted in his head. He then proceeded to ignore the boy.

Eros decided not to go bother Gaia right away. Instead, he decided to go for a walk around the room to see what was being offered.

As she came back she noticed Joe's look. "What?" she said defensively, she was already grumpy with herself, she knew better then to help people, her past incidents should have taught her better.

She sighed..."sorry..." she sipped her coffee. "Ya...they are great...they smell like hot buttered popcorn...all the time. Or Fritos...one of the only prehensile tailed mammels....helps spread the strangler fig seeds...without them both would be endangered." she was rambling facts she looked down into her coffee again.

She nodded to the boy. "Welcome" she said softly.

ellenor saw lottie's look. lottie are you okay? she asked

Joe just smirked into his coffee when Lottie grumped at him. Then he looked up, the mirth still in his eyes but not on his face.

He listened to her talk about the bintys. "They do seem to be fascinating creatures, what about them makes them your favorite..?"

The scary teen thanked him and Niall nodded. It was too much for him though and he nodded back over to the girl he didn't know (Lottie) "Thank ya, again lass," he said but he didn't stop, instead he took off outside. He should find Gaia. He shouldn't be here. He leaned against the restaurant wall as he ran his hand through his hair.

Magnus sighed. He felt bad for the kid but he wasn't sure how welcome he was amongst him. "I guess so..." He'd rather go and say hello to Eros even though Magnus liked helping people.

She looked up at Ellenor, "Ya...I will be ok...sometimes kind gestures just seem to blow up in my face." she gave a small smile. "It goes back to the whole mimicking people and it not..working so well for me." she chuckled.

She narrowed her eyes at Joe for a moment but could sense he wasnt being malicious. "Well...I guess for me..its a lot of things. When I first saw them, they looked like a shaggy member of the weasel family. I like their expressions...and how they chuckle and laugh. They have a range of noises...I love the tufts on their ears and obviously their prehensile tails...I was never much of a monkey fan...dont hate them...just" shrugs "I like how they play...and that they are solitary..yet will hang out with one another from time to time. They are intelligent...they have a pet disposition...but most people get them when their babies and dont realize how big they get. Im rambling again..." she looks down and blushes..."ya..."
