~ I love this site loads better. I had a few friends on here at the beginning. It wasn't until the Snowman contest and the Omen Islands plot that I really started making friends on here though. That and the FB Subeta group. I am enjoying the site a lot more because I decided to come out of my shell. I'm trying to make pets similar to my Neopets ones, so far Qinkipa is the closest. Her Neopet counterpart is a skunk Lupe.

No it doesn't reset every day. Been looking for the same bird every day for 3 days now, again. And I have tried refreshing at the bird watch page (because sometimes it appears there) and also at the land where the bird is from with no success. Not sure why I even bother since it's obviously glitched.

- yes, the non land specific birds can appear on any page - even the Bird Watch one. And I did not know that they carried over when the day changed (I was wondering about that earlier today while I was refreshing all over Omen Islands for several hours). Aside from that one though, you seem to be having a lot more trouble than is normal. Maybe you should file a ticket?

So Rouland, unstable snow fairy, Blair, the wolf and oven witch? Blair I don't think is coming back anytime soon since she is a TBT challenger. The unstable snow fairy is a BQ challenger but her stats as a TBT challenger had a little buff to them. She still did the same icons so the strategy is still the same. First and foremost you want to make sure you are freeze protected because she can chain freeze you to death. Her biggest icon types are ice, wind and magma. What tier is your pet? Blessed trident and unstable syringe work really well against her and are T10+ I would mod 2 parched on the trident and 2 parched on the syringe. The other two slots on the trident can be modded with anything else you like but you definitely want the parched baguettes for freeze protection. Blasting her tangled curls is extremely helpful so she can't block all icons. You could also use the energized mecha (T11) to guarantee curse damage is done to her every round, boost your stats and block some physical she does.

Some really great scrolls for her are cobalt eternal, unstable fairy scroll (ironically the scroll she dropped as a TBT challenger), skelly scroll, aftershocks, ocean currents, typhoon of valor, gotf and fatal fire. Skelly scroll is hard to find so either ocean currents or aftershocks would work in it's place. I prefer OC to aftershocks though for more heal and protection against ice. Gotf is always useful to give you another healer aside from weapons.

The wolf I don't have unlocked unless you mean the hard wolf that comes out during morostide? this guy?

The guides Mr. Cool has for Rouland and the unstable snowfairy are actually pretty solid and should help you get the wins.

That leaves the oven witch. The witch also has a chance to freeze so modding with parched baguettes again isn't a bad idea, although she is not as freeze happy as unstable fairy. The biggest icons she does is dark, physical, wind, and then maybe magma or fire. Blessed trident is again a great option. The dark block is tricky. Maniacal essence is the best dark blocker that is buyable but costs 1 bil+. Comet flash may work if you have at least 2500 defense, but your better option may be to use the ether or ancestral unrest. Both are pricey but not as expensive as maniacal essence, or you can always find someone to lend. The ether blocks 100 physcial while the unrest blocks 70 physical and either 20 dark or 20 light (it varies). The nice thing about the unrest is it has an ability to randomly heal your pet for 50% of it's health. So the best options would be maniacal essence, blessed trident, or ancestral unrest. If you can't obtain the unrest, ether or essence, you could also try comet flash or the plague claw, but they are not as reliable.

For scrolls: fatal fire, aftershocks or feather explosion, cobalt eternal, gotf, typhoon of valor, or possibly sancturia exodin. Typhoon of valor blocks wind so this is only useful if you don't have a wind blocker or are blasting one turn and need to block wind for that turn

By the way, was very proud of myself earlier for figuring out that MCAB is Malerias Cursed Arm Bangle. Makes me think I'm starting to understand the battlers' acronym language. Maybe if I keep hanging around the Battle Chat thread you will mold me into a decent battler yet. :-)

Ah ok more than enough stats then for the weapon recommendations. I also wanted to note that with the exception of skelly, feather explosion, aftershocks and ocean currents, all the other scrolls I listed are opb. That being said, I'm used to giving fatal fire as a scroll option because it used to be a cheap fire/dark blocker. It is not worth buying at 80 mil. There are other cheaper options like negating pylonic, darkness shard or cobalt scrolls. If you can find them for less than 6 mil, then definitely buy it. The scroll is also dropped by the cursed effigy the tormented challenger so if you have him unlocked you can beat him and win at least one copy of that scroll.

- I know! When you first start it's total acronym gibberish, and then it slowly just becomes a second language you don't even think about! :-) (I still need help deciphering them but at least I can figure out enough to be able to get the job done.)

I really hope Vesnali will start tomorrow because it's already getting to be around the middle of the month. I know we don't really have any more events after this but still, I want to give out flowers and get new items and stuff! ;~;

don't feel like typing much at the moment... saw the apart not long ago. The more time passes & more I can process the info, it's not right for me. I kind of want to grab blankets and hide under them at the moment :( I better go put my pj on and watch a movie, moral bit low.

I didn't even participate in the 10th anniversary cake competition because I knew anything I submitted would not even be considered (and at that time I really didn't have the supplies to decorate a cake). I made the cake for my wedding. I had grand plans for decorating it, but after making over 300 cupcakes, I just put purple fondant over it. It looked so sad, but I don't think my decoration plans would have worked out very well. I had a country/vintage themed wedding and I wanted to put cows made of black fondant on the cake, but that didn't happen.

A box or bag sale for books is my kind of sale. At first, I had a hard time finding books to put in the box, then I found 2 tables full of books and I was able to mostly fill the box. I probably could have found enough books to fill the box completely but my mom was in a bit of a hurry. Thanks, I enjoy the company here. :) I've been here for almost 11 years and never found a group of friends to chat with until last year. The separations are very difficult, especially when they are for long stretches of time. My husband and I were only dating were he left for basic training and AIT. I spent most of my time focusing on my college classes, playing Dragon Age and playing basketball with friends multiple times a week. My husband leaves next week for his month long training. Our time apart shouldn't be too bad, but I'd feel more comfortable if I wasn't still living in town. Next year will be the hardest, when he's gone for 9 months or so. I'll be back home with my parents and I'm not sure if or how I'll be able to communicate with my husband. I'll keep that in mind, mostly I think I'll just need friends to talk to and keep me preoccupied. Well, I finally went to the doctor today because my finger is still swollen and numb after almost a week. Found out that my finger is broken. One side of my finger basically got crushed in, so I have to wear a splint on all three joints of my index finger for at least 3 weeks.

Yes, a 9 month separation is a long time apart. Is there any way that you can go live at the base he will be going to? If not, it is good that you will be able to stay with your parents. Nowadays things like cell phones and internet help keep people in touch with family in the military. Hopefully, that will also work for you and your husband. Friends make everything better. Apartment hunting sucks if you can't find the place you're looking for. Try moving 3,000 miles away and only having two days to look for an apartment. That's what I did when I relocated for my job. That was all sorts of awful.

It resets daily but you can only see the new one after completing the previous day's. It's possible to complete the previous day's on the new day and get the new one right after.

How are you guys finding Omen Islands Gannet? I've been passing the same Gannet back and forth with friends to complete it. It's the most expensive bird and I'm convinced it's bugged. I have the region unlocked and fixed css for floating items. Since it does not pop up on any of the omens region maps -- games, shops... I'm practically living at Babette's and Matty's...

Out of the 12 birds I have, she keeps asking me for at least 4 of them. I've been keeping them in my inventory so I can just end that round.

- true, having spent so much more time with them - and just reading the Battle Chat thread really does help me with translating. I try to follow the discussion of how to beat those high level challengers. I know I'm not ready for them yet, but you never know when I might learn which weapon/scroll is worth buying or some new strategy (or trick!) that I can use now.

- oh interesting. Then I guess both and I were right. I've always finished one way or another before the day ended. Sort of nice, since most of the birds are not expensive to know that if I get another request for the Omen Islands Gannet that I can just keep looking at a more leisurely pace over multiple days until I finally find it. :-)

- you're still looking for the same bird because you haven't turned it in yet. What said is that you can only see the reset after you turn in your current bird, but you can turn in two birds in a single day if one is a carry over. After giving her the old bird, the new one becomes available today. But if you don't want to make a ticket, I agree that you should stop bird watching since it's obviously frustrating you. It's a game, so no reason to play if you don't enjoy it. You can easily buy any bird you need/want for other reasons. Even the rare one is selling for less than 1 million sP and I can't see you needing many of that one. So sorry this particular game gives you so much trouble.

It's not so much that it's giving me trouble, just rather annoying that when this game started in the past it wasn't that difficult to catch the birds. But it keeps happening that I don't find them after days of looking. Doesn't seem like it should be that difficult. :)
