I love that idea :D and I deff do not want a competition. I just want to have some fun! Some people take all the competitions too seriously and the news comments always get flooded with complaints.

Unlocked Longtime Member! Celebrate another year with Subeta!

7 years on the site already, it doesn't feel like it's been that long ~

Congrats! My 9 year is coming up the second week of June.

It was snowing today :o On Sat it was 20C, early summer weather. Mother nature seems confused these days.

Congrats :) On Neo my main is 13 years... it's odd to start new since I prefer staying put; however, sometimes change is good... like meeting wonderful people like yourselves & the rest of the sharks :) It's even tougher trying to change places in RL; but even though it takes me longer to adapt than most, I still manage :) One fun thing about being new to Subeta is that I get to discover fun new activities. Can't wait for the next event to start :D

How about trivia & if several get same high amount then put names in a hat & draw :D

Still looking for an apart. I saw a few potentials but with the help of my aunt she made me realize I'd be compromising too much. I'm not a student anymore and I need to think of my present needs & capacities instead of what I used to be able to do. I'm a bath gal & with my aches & pains it makes a difference. I also have laundry issues so being able to keep my washer & dryer or have some on the same floor is important.

I saw an interesting ad & it has viewing Thurs night & Sun afternoon. I'm planning on seeing it Thurs and if I like it then ask my aunt to view it with me Sun.

I was supposed to go to court tomorrow morning; however, I've agreed to postpone since the landlord asked and our respective lawyers were able to discuss today. They're willing to negotiate, so this will give us time to try and get an agreement. If all goes well, I'll be able to afford a turn-key move (they pack, move & unpack).

The waiting game is tough; just remember it's out of your control for now & there's nothing you can do. Try to focus on other things & it's usually when you're busy doing something else that's when you'll be notified. Hoping for the best for you, shakes pompoms.

I've had quite a few odd issues with my teeth, including my eye seeing blurry and severe balance issues. Last wisdom tooth has to go but for now health is cooperating and finding an apart is my priority. Hopefully when it does come out I won't have dry socket again, but at least this time I'm better prepared for what it can entail. I've restocked my quick meal provisions & I have contacts I can ask for help if I need food delivered.

My old account on Neo would be about 13 years now as well, however it was frozen about 5 years ago and I've been focusing more on Subeta ever since. That's why I didn't really participate much in the 2010-2011 stuff on here, it wasn't until my Neopets account was frozen and I took a bit of a hiatus from there that Subeta really sucked me in and gave me something else to do.

I like it here much more anyway, the staff is so much more open to the users and there are fewer restrictions in general. I feel like chatting and doing things around here is a lot safer, you don't have to be worried about getting frozen for some random BS with every little thing that you do. And the community feels a bit closer and more welcoming as well to new users or returning users.

~ My old account on Neopets would have been 17 years old. I got hacked 3 years ago and have given up trying to get back into my account. Every time I tried the hacker tried to hack my email account and the provider would shut down the server (It's my husband's page). I gave up. I had some pretty Neopets too.

Congrats on T6! I can easily see Ecks stabbing Skitters in the back It would be great if cake decorating could utilize items already on the site. Though I wouldn't want it to turn into an item drive. those are ok every now and then, but it doesn't need to be like the last plot. I'll go check out your suggestion post either tonight or tomorrow. I'm currently on S3 of Father Brown and it has gotten pretty serious. I've noticed Lady Felicia always finds the dead bodies. I want to watch either The Crown next, or The Man in the High Castle.

I think cake decorating could be a fun task if done correctly. I agree that it should be an individual task. Setting it up like the Lumi trees would be neat, it could even use the items onsite that relate to baking.

I was helping my family work calves Friday and one of the calves decided it needed to stick its head in a small space behind the chute and take my hand with it. I don't know if I heard a pop or a crunching sound but I had a blood blister and swollen finger immediately. I've got my index finger in a finger guard. Thankfully, I've never injured my thumb before, but I'm realizing just how much you need an index finger....and how easy it is to smack it against things. Somehow I never injured any fingers while playing volleyball, I only dislocated my shoulder and got hit in the face a few times.

I've got plenty of books that I need to get around to reading. A thrift store that I visited while in Minnesota last weekend had a book sale where you paid $4 for a box and could fill it with as many books as you wanted too. I've been playing Mass Effect Andromeda since it came out and I have yet to beat the game, so that will be game I'll play the most while ,y husband is gone. Thank you, it is pretty tough especially since he's only been home for about two weeks in the past two months, and he might be deploying next year (which would be another 9 months away). I'm hoping my finger gets better as well, I really don't want to go the doctor. As of right now its swollen and stiff.

Thanks! I just need to keep reminding myself that it takes them time to go through the applications and select the best people. I'll soon be keeping myself busy with packing. If I had a pet, I wouldn't get so worried and anxious about this, because how can you be worried when you have something cute to snuggle with.

It would be pretty cool and a neat addition to our profiles during Vesnali. I went to the topic made on the Suggestions forum and two users would rather have it be like the 10th Anniversary cake decorating contest where you decorate a real cake and submit a photo of it. I feel like that narrows down the pool of users who could participate and actually enjoy it, because I know that would knock me out of participating. I can bake a great cake, but cake decorating is not my forte.

Grr, annoyed with the bird watching game. Been waiting for the stupid bird to show up for 3 days now. And this is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened. Last 2 times I finally gave up and just bought the stupid bird to turn in. How long are we supposed to wait for it to show? I had a Neo account many many years ago. My main account had 4 great high level pets. Last Fall it wouldn't let me log in and after about a month of trying it said my account was frozen. But I never received an email asking me what was going on or notifying me. I made a side account to report it and emailed Neo support a dozen times but still haven't gotten a reply or any help. Darn, those were good pets. :( Wonder when Vesnali will start. I have lots of coins in my vault so all ready to start buying stuff as soon as they release new items for the shop. :) And my account here says 7 years, but I had another account before this that was several years old but was frozen without notice unfairly (they said I cheated on a game but I didn't, it was a glitch in the program so Subeta's fault but they wouldn't believe me). Had to wait a year and start all over from scratch. Grrr.

You are the third person I know that has had their account frozen out of the blue. I have no clue about my account. I am too afraid to go look. The site went downhill and I just walked away sigh. I devoted way too much time and energy to that site anyway. They let cheaters and idiots take over and ruin the fun. I loved the Altador cup, but that was ruined. I think I am better off after cutting myself off from the addiction! Plus it saves me alot of money!

- Congratulations on the beanbag from Tempest. She has given me some nice things as well - including a book! (Yay - books!) but I don't really remember most of what she gives me. I just enjoy the nice surprise when she visits. :-)

- sounds like your aunt is giving you some really good advice. Nice that she is able to help you look for a new apartment. Here's hoping today's apartment is a good one.

Can't even remember how old my Neopets account (or what's left of it if it's still there) is. After getting hacked, I was shut out for several months before staff got around to me and haven't really spent much time there since. So many reasons why I'm much happier here. :-)

- oh, so sorry that you had such a bad experience at Neopets. I know it really upset me when my account was hacked. It's sad that you lost your pets. I hope your long time Subeta pets and friends help make it easier for you.

- oooh $4 for a whole box of books - I just love that sort of thing. The only problem is that I would buy so many boxes if I could. (There is no such thing as too many books - ).

Sounds like you are now well equipped in the book and video game categories. And we will try to keep you company too. :-) The separations make it so hard for our military families - I wish there was no need for them. Please let me know if there is ever anything I can do to be even a little helpful.

- sorry you are having trouble with Bird Watching. I thought it was supposed to reset every day even if you don't find the bird? Some of the birds only can be found by refreshing in the land that matches their name - Darkside Kite is only found by refreshing at Darkside (if that is any help). Most of the birds show up pretty quickly for me - but I did spend most of today before I finally found an Omen Islands Gannet which is rare (and expensive).

Well I can't remember her name, but the winter fairy one that we had at Christmas time :( plus Blaire and Rouland. I am still trying to get to 10 wins on the Witch and the Wolf, but I have not tried against them in a while.
