FINALLY ITS PARTY TIME flower for you and flowers for YOU
Thanks for ping. As predicted, I'm tired before the event has even started. -- Well it officially started when writing this. I'll be gone for a couple of hours. :x
oo it's that dress I liked during Masquerade.
You look comfy right now, like you're going to leap up during the event. :D
The humidity and freezing temperature is bad for my pc, it still randomly freezes or overheats easily because of electricity. It got so bad with the weather that the Vcard kept getting the hissing static snow screen. I read that it's good to maintain the PC temperature between 50F to 85F, it's been high 40ish at night here so the pc had to be kept warm... I threw a black cover over the OS and it runs smoothly and silently for now. It's stayed on it, poor pc, so cold :c
you mean like this?
Oh pfft I see why you are confused. I keep typo-ing a 2 instead of a 1. That first number should say 115, not 215 haha. I am a part of the ping group so I haven't missed most days because of that.
Thanks Hun :)
:D After the rainbow dresses it is deff my fave!
Hope everyone is enjoying Vesnali now that it has finally arrived. Looking forward to the big wedding.
- thank you. Seeing the team working together so well really made me want to contribute any way I was able. And I was really proud of the team. Especially during the wee hours when there weren't many people online and everyone there really needed to participate. I got such a big kick thinking about Elwood driving into the wilderness after us with his pizza van. :-)
- exactly! I have found that any time I get involved with something on Subeta there are just so many friendly, kind, generous and all round wonderful people here. A big part of what keeps me coming back day after day.
- yes, that definitely explains it, lol! I just couldn't figure out how you managed to visit the Bathhouse before it was open. :-) So funny. Glad to hear you now have a ping group to help you remember.
- you are most welcome. I especially love the flowers in your hair. How did you do that?
Happy flowering everyone ...
:D It is the Pink And Blue Raindrop Headpiece. It is in Esther's under the 2014 tab.
Yeah and I kept reading it as 100 so I was totally confused why you were confused lol.
- thank you! Now I have flowers too. :-) Hope you don't mind. Of course, they go much better with both your total outfit and background, and your hairstyle, but hey, it's Vesnali - flowers, flowers everywhere! :-)
- laughing my head off - we make quite a pair when we can't even get a couple of numbers straight! :-) I could not figure you how you could be so brilliant in the Battle Coliseum and then unable to add 1 + 1, but I sometimes do the same thing.
Bu the way, I finally figured it out and made my new baby pet - she's a Chai named 81 (that's read 1 ... 8) starting from the right. She is currently busily training in level and working on building her intelligence.
Welcome Hun Everyone should have flowers!!!! :D
Haha yeah and I was like, where does she get this 200 from and why does she keep repeating the total number of days? Is she getting the 200 confused with the 286 days?? lol we got it all worked out now.
Aw a chai, cute! Ok now I am confused with the name. Do you pronounce it then as eighty-one or are you saying she's called one-eight?
- so glad we finally got that straightened out. We were starting to sound like one of those old comedy routines - Who's on First :-)
Actually, she's called eighteen - but that was taken. It's sort of a Hebrew pun. Chai (with a gutteral ch sound - not like the tea) is the Hebrew word for life (like the toast L'Chaim - think Fiddler on the Roof :-) ). Hebrew is read right to left (backwards from English) and the Hebrew letters for Chai (chet yud) also mean eigtheen. Besides the toast, Jews often give gifts in multiples of 18 for celebrations to wish the recipient a long and happy life. I just couldn't resist the bad pun. :-) Maybe it will help during battling that her name means life (for her, of course, not for her opponent). :-)

I'm having SUCH a hard time figuring out a hair style for my HA. I'm pretty picky when it comes to styles. I'm in a no bangs mood and there is not much for no bangs unless I go into the male hair styles. I'm kinda liking what I have now, but i dunno. I also keep changing up my clothes. I just can't decide.

Oh I am familiar with who's on first heh heh.
Oh I see. Wow, you put a lot of thought into the name but anyone just reading it would have no idea. I like it when names have meanings. I am guilty of naming a few of my pets certain names just because it sounded pretty or they looked like a "so-an-so." A lot of them though have reasons for why they are named who they are.
- yes, I think it is still popular today. :-)
Not that much thought - thinking in terms of eighteen sort of comes naturally to me by now, so as soon as I looked at chai that part was easy. The real question was figuring out what to do when the natural Eighteen and 18 were already both taken. :-) All of my pets' names have meaning, at least to me. Sometime I would love to hear the meanings for your pets' names if you are willing to share.
- for what it's worth, I think you look lovely as you are right now. :-)
~ Thanks. :) It's my first time really playing with the highlights. My HA's hair is similar to how my real life hair is at the moment. Also, matching those blue & purple hues was fun too.

- color matching for HAs is really hard and you did a great job. And it's fun to match elements of real life with your HA sometimes.
Fondant isn't easy to work with and store bought fondant doesn't taste that great. I need to try making my own fondant with marshmallows.
There are two bookstores here that sell used books and they tend to have some good deals and decent sales, but one of them is closed for renovations.
He's going overseas to Afghanistan, so I wouldn't be able to go along and I'mm not sure I would want to. When he leaves for his month long annual training in a few days, I won't here from him until he gets back because they won't have any cell reception. I'm sure he'll have access to the internet while he's overseas but the waiting for communication kills me. I've got two friends back home that are excited that I'm moving back home. I'll be on Subeta on and off during this month, so I'll be here to chat.
Thanks, I had to go back Sunday to get it re-splinted because I was in too much pain with the previous splint, it just didn't keep my finger immobile enough. And pain meds only help for about an hour or so.
I've got good news on the job front, I've got a job interview on June 1st. However, I have to make and give a presentation about my education and experiences. I have some ideas of what to include, but I'm not sure how to go about it without repeating my resume. I'm also nervous about presenting in front of people I don't know. And on Thursday, someone is coming in to view the duplex my husband and I live in, so I need to clean the place up. I've taken Thursday off, so I can focus on packing and cleaning to make the place presentable.
I have the creativity, but I don't always have the patience or time to transfer that creativity to an actual product. I had so many ideas for my wedding cake, but then ended up just going with a simple cake. I'm sort of glad I went with a plain cake, because my husband and I didn't even finish the whole thing. (the fondant had an odd taste). It was moldy by the time we got back from our honeymoon.
