This is kind of why I wouldn't mind having some on-site official recaps of previous plots, because I love the stories I just forget what happened after a few years.

Even the Jaxon and Ian plot, my memories of it are starting to fade. I just remember them being a couple and Jaxon being a ghost who can only appear during Morostide, and Ian was working on some sort of machine to try and open the portal during the rest of the year. At least I think that's what happened...

tbh I barely remember any of the plots and only have the vaguest idea of the NPCs. I just want everything to be as gay as possible and I'll throw down in the news comments at any time. dtsdona. down to start drama on news announcements.

I don't think there have been very many news posts that mention characters in relationships. I can only remember Jaxon and Ian and Esther and Emma being the most recent ones. Now I could see there being a few boards dedicated to 'shipping' on the General Discussion and Chit-Chat sub-forums, but if you don't follow the topic you wouldn't really know about it.

I'll be plenty distracted this month once I start packing. I tend to distract myself with books or video games, and sometimes I'll binge-watch a T.V. show on Netflix while working on crafty stuff. My husband is typically the one who cheers me up, but he'll be leaving in 2 weeks for a month long National Guard training. Thanks, I hope the wait isn't too bad or too long.

and I were discussing this a while ago. We were both hoping to get some updates or another plot based in the Underground. But our focus was more on Skitters and Ecks, and is Ecks planning a comeback. But I would love to get updates during holidays about characters that we met during those holidays. A mini-plot (or full plot) would be fun for the wedding. We could help out with decorations, cake, etc.

--I broke tier 6 the other day spending all my battle exp. I was wondering if there an overall statpoint cap or an individual cap broken since I only invested in STR. Is it more battle + training effective to put points in differently or focus on one?

I think the friend being referred to is just some random person she met and befriended while visiting Lower Ziara. It was briefly mentioned in the news post, but no name was given or anything.

Congrats on getting to Tier 6! I've been training my pet's stats evenly up to 2500 even stats, but then I'll probably start to focus more on strength and health. There's no right or wrong way to train your pets, different people have different preferences. It kind of depends on what you want your final build to be like (even if that's super far away). So for my pet, I want his health and strength to be higher, defense kind of in the middle, and speed the least priority.

The stat cap is for overall stats (strength, defense, health, and speed) and currently it's 35,000 total between those 4 stats. There aren't any caps on individual stats, but keep in mind that the training center won't train pets that are over level 5000 so that may play a factor in the future when you get closer to capping.

I've heard it said for a long time that health and strength are usually the most optimal stats to invest in as your battle pet grows larger. Having followed that stratagem with Kilroy for years, I can say from experience that high HP+Strength is fine, but if you don't have the defense to tank your opponent's attacks or the speed to avoid being crit, you're in for a harder time most of the time. A pet that is evenly raised may stand a better chance of surviving longer rounds than one that puts too much emphasis upon uneven stats, as at that point all the extra health is likely to be eaten up by an opponent's crit or regular hard-hitting attack.

But as Laurey said, there is no right or wrong way, just different paths to the same end-goal of 35k. If you aren't already, raising your pet's intelligence to give you more alchemy points and subsequently more scrolls to use per battle is also something to focus on as you bring up the core-four(hp/strength/defense/speed). Smashed? Ouch, I've sprained my left thumb from volleyball before only to realize how useful opposable thumbs are... especially when buttoning jeans. The pain never fails to remind us how useful a small part of us is.

cake decorating, that's a good idea. They could make it one of their news contests or have something cute like the trees we get during Luminaire ^^ We already have food dye, decorative icing and cake mix, they could implement function for those and a "Cake decoration storage," more clutter for the site.

i love the idea for cake decoration event thing, i just hope it's an "everyone" thing and not a "team" thing. The team things just end up not fun, too hectic. Also love the idea of a cake thing being like Lumi trees, that sounds fun as heck, not even a competition thing just, cute cakes.

For what it's worth, I have been told by several of the top battlers that any build will work in the end (at T13 you can beat everyone). I've also been convinced that there is a definite benefit to having more health at the higher tiers if you want to be able to beat challengers sooner. (At least in part, because it lets you withstand a high damage hit or two and also because so many higher tier healers heal for a percentage of your maximum health.) That said, as mentioned, you still also need enough of the other attributes to survive and more AP can also make a big difference (and scrolls don't require you to be at higher tiers). It is certainly easiest to do level training (as I am currently doing for all three of my pets). I know at least one user doing well with a second battle pet where they started emphasizing health at Tier 6 as a comparison with their first build where they waited until much later on. Other than that, I'm told that if I'm not in any hurry, it's fine to wait until T11 or T12 to figure it all out. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Father Brown series was better than I expected it to be although it got so serious in s3.

I've finished The Bletchley Circle last month, the series is pretty short so a series is like a social justice movie or moviethon. It was worth the one sitting for how they concluded the conspiracy in the end.

I know I'm watching Peaky Blinders next, just for creepy Cillian Murphy. Momentarily sidetracked by international variety and gothic horror.
