(seriously if you want to dismiss users that don't know about/where the status site is don't make the link text like size 4pt font)

I just wanted to say that on the status page it says "Sep 15, 2016 No incidents reported today. Sep 14, 2016 No incidents reported.", which is simply not true. Every day that I've logged in for the past days I've experienced 502 and 504 Errors. I know that at the top it still says that the issues are still being investigated on, but it is inaccurate to simply not state it there as well. :/ I do hope the issues get resolved soon, it's sad not being able to access Subeta due to those errors.

Okay, having read all this "No incidents reported" stuff and seeing how OBVIOUSLY we, the users, are seeing incidents, I feel like I'm maybe missing something...
Aside from bitching on the forums, HOW are we supposed to report incidents? Is there a step we're supposed to go through and I'm missing it along the line? Because I would be more than happy to spend my roughly 45 minutes to an hour each day that I have free PLAYING on the site, not REFRESHING AND CUSSING AT the site.
Oh wow, I'm glad this thread exists! People have already said everything far better than I can, but I'm throwing in a giant +1 to the "why run plots the same way every time when they always overload the server?"
There HAVE to be other ideas for how to create a fun, engaging, interesting plot without making it all massively focused around refreshing pages as much as possible (restocking, donating, quests, etc). I'm hitting errors constantly on this site; after being on this site for what, nearly 10 years (wow, HOW), I'm used to it, so I just refresh until the site comes back, or check again a little later. But we shouldn't be used to a site that's constantly going down.
And obviously the status page is inaccurate, if there are any days with no issues reported. Because the errors happen every. day. Multiple times a day. Often multiple times an hour.
If the server can't handle the load we're putting on it, we shouldn't have plots that require people to sit on their computers, hitting the refresh button over and over and over again until the site kicks us out.
So much this! Do we need to be reporting when we are seeing 502's and 504's? No incidents reported makes me feel like either the problem is being ignored those days or we, as users, need to communicate our issues in a way that we aren't more aware of.
The status page says:
I'm seeing 502's every day... are you saying staff doesn't already know this or that I should actually report daily?
I am saying that staff says on the status page where they want issues to be reported, because asked "HOW are we supposed to report incidents?"
However, to me, it does not appear they are doing much with the reports they do get so I am unsure it's worth the effort.
Ok got it, lol the way you answered I thought you might actually a staff member that just didn't make an 'official' post. :P
There's less than 600 people online. It's not even 9 am. And I can't do anything for the 502s/504s.
Status site? "Nah bro, we're all good here."
:/
can't even get this damn post to go through
Ya, not sure why it shows no reports for yesterday because I made sure to post on the bug forum that the error pages were starting early before most people were online. :/ Today is worse.
I know I've been seeing 502's and 504's all morning, and I've been up since 4am. Not sure what the 400 of us who were online were doing to "break the site" but it's a little disheartening to see so many error pages so early in the morning. There's not even anything going on right now?
Radiation is finished! Sorry if I get confused sometimes, I just had brain surgery!
Thank you for all the kind thoughts and wishes while I'm in the hospital again!
Once again, the last update to the status site was two days ago and this shit is still happening.
I know it's supposedly being worked on, but some more frequent updates would be appreciated.
I just don't understand what was the point of adding the Status site to the footer if they're not going to update it? I mean, there are 600 users online right now. What are we doing to the site to constantly crash it? And no updates on the Status Site? Last update was on the 16, every other day says no incident reported, which we know isn't true. The site has been down CONSTANTLY. It makes it unfun to play. :(

It's pretty crazy how bad the site has been lately. There aren't even 700 people on and the site can't handle it? It was erroring this morning with 400 people, too. What's going on?
Site hangs while approving new forum group members
I made this bug report a few days ago, and things have only gotten worse. I'm starting to think the forum groups might actually be responsible for the 502s and 504s. Basically whenever I go to "all members", the site starts serving up errors and I can't do anything for a minute or so. Again, this is happening even very late at night and it's way too perfect to be a coincidence.
I know both teams have their own private forum groups for this event, both set to admin approval. Is it possible that forum groups are just really poorly optimized and they're breaking everything?

That's a good thought, but I've also been getting plenty of errors even when I'm not dealing with my team's forum groups.
Although it could still have something to do with it. I know people were also using forum groups as a way to store their sP to do Sarah's quests during that NPC challenge, and a lot of them still haven't been deleted even though we've been asking people to remove them so they don't clog up the groups.
I'm getting 502 errors on nearly every other page, not to mention the lag and the fact that nothing has turned up on my friend feed in nearly two and a half days.
What gives?

Considering the new-and-improved forum groups have been a WIP for months and months, I wouldn't be very surprised if that was the case.
Anyone remember this testing group? Or the hype around the (now very dead and very useless) Shared Items option in the new groups? It still links to the beta wardrobe, which is MIA. Or how forum groups were supposed to replace cults, but they never really got the final polish in terms of efficiency and ease of use?
