That's so good to hear ^_^ I haven't had as many issues tonight (still happened at sign in but not since) so here's hoping! <3 [edit] LOL jinxed that. All my tabs 504'd as I posted this. :P
Ya I have had 504's still... -_- Really discouraging lately.
As for GA, mine expires in a few days and I don't think I'll activate another until I feel like it's worth it again. :/
I've come to expect 502/504 error when opening up User Dashboard. Maybe put the Feed on it's own tab...

It does seem to be better than it was, although I'm still getting some also. Hopefully it doesn't get worse again, at least.
Thanks for actually pinging.
While people are still reporting 502s I hope that the conditions improve very soon, for morostide... :/
I'm not really understanding what you and did but I'm very grateful you did it. Yesterday was the worst I couldn't do quests for the errors nor anything else really for the lag. Today everything seems to be running great. Thank you both. Thanks so much for the ping. I could go on, but the Wiz is calling me. :P

Why did it take so long to hear from staff in any sort of format? Why is it now hidden in a single forum post? Why was there no update on the autopricing issue that's been going on for 2 weeks? We need more if you want any kind of support from the userbase.
Some fix. Still getting constant errors.
I am reminded why I lost interest in Subeta in the first place. Everything is broken, nothing improves, and the staff who can fix things just don't care enough to respond in a timely manner so that users know their concerns are being heard.
not to mention the amount of errors I've gotten trying to even post on this thread is amazing. (conspiracy theory, go!) better yet, the errors around the site started for me only really /after/ that post. but I digress.

Autopricing was one of the fixes we pushed last night, and was tested, I just didn't want to say FIXED unless we're sure it's fixed (which we're watching now). Hopefully, it's working for you, and if it doesn't we get error reporting on our end (+ user error reports) that we're continuing to debug.
I didn't post to the site update group for the same reason - I'm watching to see how it works on the site. I'm posting here to say that we made a change and that we're seeing if it makes any difference.

. I appreciate the extension to my GA but I'm 67 years old. I won't be here to see it run out in 46 years, 10 months, 6 days. :D
Thanks for the update Keith :D

Fixing ?! You'll get another notification once it's fixed ;)

I've been lurking in this thread for a while now, and right now, I'm just tired of this all.
I'm tired of the errors, I'm tired of the lag. I'm tired that every year users have to beg for more information. I'm tired of staff posting in these threads, but failing to update and of the other areas (news, status site, etc.) But most importantly, I'm tired of the nastiness.
I just got this alert:
Staff is trying. They really are. I'm starting to see their lack of response here as just general sadness. No matter what they say or how they say it, the vocal users in here find some nasty comment to throw right back in their faces. After the last comment, I believe I saw only a handful of comments thanking, and full pages with additional critiques/complaints.
Let's be clear, I'm really sick of the errors popping up. I don't know what's changed in the last month to make it so much worse. We had a good first half of the year in terms of lag, so something most certainly happened. I would really, really like to know more information. I would like staff to be more vocal in changes their trying to make, and where they think are the trouble areas. I would like to see some information addressing the coding issues- are there enough debuggers still loyal to the site to help? I would like staff to take our comments into heart, and the next time an important post is made, could they at least ping the siteupdate group? People shouldn't have to stalk the admin posts, or hope kbbob* notices to stay in the loop. *All hail the all-seeing kbbob.
But right now we have 17 pages of people all saying the same thing.
I really don't want to be defending staff right now, but could you guys just slow down? We've said our piece. Staff knows we're angry, and they know the site is falling apart. Us being assholes doesn't help the situation.
I hope that staff can see that our frustration comes out of the fact that we like it here. We want to spend time here. We want to spend money here. But the errors make that difficult. I'm not the most vocal one, since English isn't my first language, and I always feel others can speak their mind in a much more eloquent way that I ever could, but I feel like lately, if no one ever speaks up, nothing ever changes. The more people complain, the more it shows that they stay invested in this site. When the complaining stops, it's that people stop caring, or that people are leaving.
Not everyone who had a GA got extra time. :T I woke up, it expired a few minutes after I signed on and got nothing.
I think if you file a ticket you should be able to get 14 days added on. :)
to anyone doing backreading, this isn't the case. the event went out, something broke, and it's currently being fixed. another event will go out when it's fixed for everyone when the time has been applied.
