When my youngest sister had her 3rd child (Dec 1st).... ;; man I feel ancient!
I tried to read the screen at work and realized I cant see it.
I have an IRL person I hang out with sometimes who's 10 years younger than me (She's in her 20s and I'm in my 30s) so ANYTHING she does is just like "I am ancient. My bones are dusty and full of cobwebs." Even the way she talks makes me feel old. What is this slang?

was telling someone yesterday the story of how I got a movies/TV only person to at least get into books through books on tape (also referring to books on CD.) ...it hit me later that person i was telling this to might think i was confused on the wording... or I was just indeed showing my age. lol. keep forgetting that now-a-days no matter the format everyone just refers to them as audiobooks.

Recently LOL • I just peeked at my profile and noticed that I have been part of Subeta for 14 years [ooph] • Memory feed on social media of my fiance and I 10 years ago, (we've been together for 11 years, getting married next year ^^' ) • I was at Chik fil a the other day getting myself something to eat bc its on the way to where I'm house sitting currently, and every employee in there looked like they just came out of their mothers womb. • My oldest nephew just turned 9 and my niece just turned 3 (':
Not too long ago, my kid referred to the 90s' as "waaay back then" (possibly with an "ancient" thrown in) and like ...that's when I was a child but ok.
I don't usually mind being reminded of my actual age (otherwise I'd just say, "today, cuz my birthday" lol) because it turns out my 30s are much younger than I thought they were going to be now that I've hit them. That's not a big deal. But realizing that from the perception of my child, my youth is ancient history... it just makes me feel so old.

How about a webcomic about villains stumbling around redemption arcs? Drop by:

I'm frequently reminded at my university, where I'm anywhere from 5-9 years older than my peers. Been a nontraditional student since forever but it's alright I'm getting there.
lol anytime I move, after doing darn near 20yrs of stocking, my body/joints feel like they are in their 100s
Bent over to put a log on the fire a few days ago and felt my back twinge. Fortunately, I was lucky and it felt better within an hour, but it was definitely giving me “careful, granny” vibes.

Context: I collect dolls out in the real world ~
When I found out that the next "Historical" doll American Girl is releasing is from the year 1999. My childhood is now considered history.
When I found this place and got to see my old posts and descriptions I left on all my pets. Sooo much stuff needed to be deleted out of sheer embarrassment...including one of my pet's origin names because it was a character I don't have particularly fond memories of anymore. :(
I am visiting my parents and was looking at my old board games. Guess Who, Clue, The Game of Life, Monopoly, Taboo…….those were good times
This morning when I stretched and my roommate could hear my joints from down the hall... goooooooooo sports!
