Every time I log onto Twitter and see a new word I don't know. Blorbo? Rizz? I'm not nearly old enough to feel THIS old... xD
Just now, viewing a story about when one gets their first smartphone. Mine was over a decade ago, the first phone was twenty five years back.
So, those American Girl dolls have a 'historical collections' or something and the newest one is a 90's girl. I saw the add on instagram and this little girl's mother is telling her about how they didn't have cell phones and texting wasn't a thing. And she's got like an inflatable chair and a CD walkman. I'm not just old, I think I might actually be dead. Literally a fossil. omfg.
When I'm puzzled how everyone else is settling down, having kids... Then I remember I'm in my 30s.
OR when the cashier asks to see my ID and they're like "Ohhh.... Okay!"
It killed my soul when a cashier didn't even ask me to take it out of my wallet because they could see my birth year started with 1 and not a 2. Womp Lol
this post. I got my first phone in 1993! And it had a pull up Ariel and when that broke you couldnβt use you phone.
Just thinking about all the new Fandoms got me feeling my age, as I was reading fanfics. I've not done this in what feels like forever but my god do I feel old now.
Last week. Had a coworker discussing how their vision is starting to deteriorate due to aging, I spoke of my fear of one day suddenly going blind because it had happened to a former coworker of mine. They commented, "Well, you don't have to worry, you're still young. You're in your twenties, right?"
Yesterday when I went to watch the millionth Fast and Furious movie.... I remembered where I was when I watched the first one lol
btw i love your HA and the color scheme...ugh everything about it!
Awh, thank you so much!! β‘
Mine's opposite of everyone. I'm not thinking oh jeez, I'm already 38! I'm thinking why am I having to go through surgery for osteoarthritis at 38? Why did I have to have a hysterectomy at 37? I am 38...I should be able to hold my 3 year old for more than a couple minutes. :( Just trying to focus on the now because age truly is just a number.

:( We've got family friends coming over to visit this week that we haven't seen in 20+ years. I'm 34. These folks last saw me in my early teens. Though I think they'll be more shocked by seeing how huge my younger brother turned out to be at 6'8".
A learning experience is one of those things that say, "You know that thing you just did? Don't do that." - Douglas Adams My wishlist.
i teach 6th graders. pretty much every day.

This may not be a gknock at mine age, but mine recall asking a friend, "Am I the only person you gknow who likes Vehicle Force Voltron"?
He replied "Just you and two others".
Someone on tiktok said what do you think Kobe Bryant would have done with his life if he knew he'd die at 41. Do you think he would have spent so much time training and in the gym?
Then I thought... what would I do if I knew I'd die at 41? Probably not the things I do every day. If I die at 41 I have 12 years to live. It really put into perspective that I believe I am wasting my life. So, I am trying to live like I only have 12 years to live. What do I really want? I don't know how much time I have left. Being young isn't a shield or a guarantee for tomorrow.

I went back to college so I could change careers, and my group members in my physics class are all in their teens... and I'm in my early 30s. They act like I've got one foot in the grave. I just keep reminding myself that one day it'll be their turn!
tonight at dinner with my in-laws when they sang happy birthday to me :P
