You need to quit stressing out. Mistakes happen and there is NOBODY that can say they NEVER made a mistake. You admitted your mistake now let it go!! I am thankful for you and the rest of the staff that put so much time into this site to make it VERY enjoyable even for old folks like me :)

I'm just confused about how all of this happened, granted.. I don't know how all the backend stuff works but trees are not a new feature so I'm confused about why the script should have be different than the past few years.

Sorry to for being a procrastinator.. I did ALL my gifting between those dates and there were at least 65 gift recipients. :)

I am disappointed.. I want to thank proper to everyone who thought about me and it is important too, that the people know that I thought of them as well. I don't mind to wait another month till everything works. I am patient, but I spent real money too support Subeta. My new years wish is: One year or one event without bugs, glitches and trouble.

When gifting trees, it said "you have given ...... these gifts. They will be under their tree AT THE END OF THE MONTH..." My theory is Subeta never intended us to have our gifts on Christmas day, it was always going to be the end of the month...., I will do and say as I please, thank you for your concern, you have a great day now.

In my opinion we are getting the gifts so that's all that matters. It doesn't matter if it's after the holidays or not. It gives me something to look forward to :)

Or why it took so long to pull the site down after it started happening?

I'm also curious as to why we were told it would take a few days, and then told two days ago that it would probably be yesterday, when you're now saying it hasn't even really been worked on being fixed yet and it's 5 days later?

I am on the "don't kill yourself trying to fix it overnight" train, though. I just would like some answers as to what happened.

I wonder if people are confusing the last day of the Christmas/Luminaire holiday (which some people might consider to be the 25th) and the last day of the month (which would be the actual last day of the month), in this case the 31st.

The tree gifts have been available on the 25th for at least the last three years. I think it's pretty obvious they were meant to be available on the 25th this year as well, given that's when the (wrong) script ran. A few days (or even a week) difference doesn't really matter to me though, I just appreciate staff keeping users in the loop when something goes amiss.

agree.... Subeta Luminaire holiday - end of the month 25th. Actual month 31st. So holly and spidertag were both right in this matter. confusion, how easily it's produced.

I gave all my gifts out on the 24th so now noone is going to know what gifts I gave them? This is unbelievable.

Only the people who were affected by the stocking glitch. Everybody else will see your name attached to their gifts.

thank you for the update, it's really appreciated. please try not to stress yourself out too much, you're a human being and you need to take care of yourself first, we understand completely and appreciate everything that you do for us. and don't mind anyone being mean or selfish about it. we all love this website very much but when it comes down to it, it's a website, not life or death. people make mistakes, that's just a part of life. i'm sending you lots of good vibes and happy thoughts. i hope you had a great holiday regardless of all this and that you have an equally great new years eve :)
