Stats dropping is a big no no.

Well maybe the remedies won´t only heal the pets but may give them bonus stats (20% chance maybe) :3

I like bonus stats but it's hard to get support for that from staff. I don't think we need anything that complicates battling further, people already seem to struggle with learning how to do it. if anything, we need more frequent battling events or at least a monthly achievement as I have mentioned before, so we have more battlers. Battling already has some sinks - training, MC weapons, healing. More battlers = more sP sinks.

If we had a monthly challenger every month, and an achievement to go along with it with a special prize, people may be enticed to battle who didn't before. This challenger could be one we already have too. For example, we have Pete as a challenger. But to save the artists from having to create new art, we have "Monthly Challenge Pete" or something like that, where defeating him x number of times gets you an achievement with a prize. Achievement prizes prevent deflation, so people are more likely to battle to earn the achievement. Without having achievement prizes, most battling prizes go towards worthless, which will just let people not battle and get the prizes from user shops because they are very cheap. The challenger stays around for a month or so, then is replaced by a new one. They can come back in the future too, so no one needs to worry about retiring achievements.

This is like the third or fourth time I have said this idea in the forums without any word about it from staff, so I figure it's flawed some how or they don't want battling to be more popular, but I always support more battling stuff. It's a segment of the site with some of the most dedicated members, and the only part of the site where people will actually spend over 500 mil on a single item.

Many many many users don't understand it, they think it's expensive (it can be) and complicated, so they don't put the time in to learn it. It does have a bit of learning to start doing it, but what doesn't? Right now it's always cheaper to buy prizes than it is to make a pet strong enough to earn them. We don't have events often enough to offset this. Battlers only battle because they like it.

Illnesses like neo had? I don't know how I feel about those. I don't know if I like it, I'm sure someone who has a loved one who is sick will get it and then feel bad because their online pet is now sick too.

Throwing my 'no' in for illnesses in battling/in general + anything that takes stats away. The fee for the healer after a battle is enough of a penalty, imo.

I don´t know about what neopets does/has (I´m one of the few who don´t even know the site...lalalala XD). I thought about Pokemon to be honest coughs Yes, well, everything on the site is problematic for some users or may be traumatic. Look to the thread about the random event introducing the new plot. I don´t think the stuff would be able to avoid every trauma ever being had. Personally I don´t think a health care centre is all too problematic. The pet could catch something like Malignalitaloptereosis like Madam Mim did XD Or something funny, not depressing, for example turning green checkered red (= is this correct in Englisch?). It could be a new random event.

wow it's always surprising to find one of those users who has never been on neopets. Keith one time saw me on neopets and then commented me on here (a long long time ago, I still have a screenshot of it!) I know, there are many people complaining lately about things they personally don't like, I would just like to avoid as much of this as possible because as much as I want to tell someone this is online get over it, I do feel bad for them being upset and can understand it to some extent. I think you mean green and red checkered? you're asking the wrong person about english, it is my first and only language but I suck at trying to understand what people mean.

Yeah I know =) something that would alter your pet's color briefly like a disease might be kinda cute. might be hard for special poses unless it was just a filter like the black and white HA thing that affected them.

I just spent over 120 mill on shinwa keys :) Granted the sp is still floating around but they will be gone in a few mins and then i will be making scrolls to use with the ap i will have xD

yup grabbed one from the mc. It is way cheaper for me to buy shinwas keys then 120 mill of books and get like 3 ap points xD 10 ap from keys :D

For some reason hitting the back button on my phone only adds the "n" letter. You can read a book anytime and it catches up. It was a few months ago, I brought it up to Cran and she said Grace had fixed it. Might have been mentionned on the BC Chat with a battle hashtag

I don't get battle pings because the groups are glitched. Hm it's nice to know that it catches up now though.
