"I always find it fascinating to hear where everyone is from. Did your parents attend Hogwarts?"

She giggled a bit at the memory, and then looked around at her friends and smiled. "Does anyone else know what they're wearing?"

My Outfit

((ooc: Sorry I have been absent from the Common Room lately! My character has been spending extra time in the library, I suppose. I really did make my outfit last night, haha. I wanted it to match the singer I made for the band. Can't wait to see what everyone wears!))

My Outfit

( ) Gaia looks at the outfit pictures and squeals with excitement. "Both outfits are perfect! The dresses go perfect with the theme too!" Gaia starts dancing around the common room almost falling over one of the chairs and laughing uncontrollably. "This ball will be so much fun!"

Rin furrowed her brow at the question. "...Brighton is hour south of London by broom. Yeah, Mum went to Hogwarts."

"What else do you got?" She asked curiously.

((ooc: Looks lovely! I love the dress!))

Amanda laughs while she watches Gaia dance around the room and then stumble over a chair. Joking with Gaia she said, "Yes! This ball should be very fun! Especially if you dance like that!"

"I will have you know I am a great dancer!" Gaia twirls towards Amanda "I think it is time for YOU to practice dancing!" Gaia extends her hand to Amanda and curtsies "May I have this dance?" then giggles waiting for Amanda.

"Rin () I will look some more after this dance!"

Amanda giggled nervously and even blushed a little bit. She wasn't very comfortable dancing in front of everyone. Deciding this wasn't the time to act socially awkward, she took Gaia's hand and let her pull her around the room in a spirited dance.

Gaia noticed Amanda's discomfort so she dipped her and started laughing. "The key to dancing is not thinking but feeling it! If you dance with your soul what others think stops being important and laughing will come naturally. Who knows maybe even some sexiness!"Gaia giggles and starts teaching Amanda the waltz. "One... Two... Three... If you just mark your steps then it will come naturally. Step... Step... Step... See?"

"I wonder if the band will play some Spanish music! Dancing is all in the rhythm of the hips!"

Rin reached into her bag and pulled out her iPod. She crossed all the fingers on her free hand as she turned it on. Nothing. Dejected, she put it back in her bag and leaned back on the couch to watch.

"I think the third option is the best! I love how you combined the star and the moon!"

"Yeah but the first option compliments the dress and the sparkly bits in your hair." Rin piped up. "I like the subtlety. The other two just look heavy."

She laughed as Gaia taught her the steps to the dance. "I like to dance, but only to certain music I guess! I can't wait to see what the band plays!"

Amanda eyed the Ipod. She knew what it was, she had seen muggle kids using them, but she had never used one herself. Maybe one day when they were outside of the castle grounds she could ask Rin to use hers to see what it was like.

"Number 1 is my favorite. But, is there any way you could combine options 1 and 2? That might be cool!"

Elune waved to Amanda, then made room on the couch. "I wish I could have seen your cat like that," she laughed as she watched Amanda pull a dress from her bag. "That will look stunning under the spelled-lights!" she added.

She turned her eyes toward Beth and noticed how her dress sparkled subtly from the glow of the common room's fire. "That's really lovely too! I think the first set of earrings are perfect," she agreed. Then she turned toward toward Rin () and teased, "For someone who isn't comfortable with fashion, you actually have a good eye for this."

She smiled then spotted the "Ipod" gadget. "Is this what you've been trying to fix, Rin?"
