Amanda reemerged from the dormitory with dry clothes, and freshly dried hair. She walked over to the group of girls, some of them still dripping, and said, "So do we have any plans to get the little beast back?" She was referring to Peeves, still miffed that he had interrupted her walk in the hallways.

"I can't think on an empty stomach, besides i love Peeves! He is funny" Laughs.

"Shall we go and try and get something to eat? I saw Peeves zoom in to the Great Hall, but he might be done by now. Hopefully not all of the toast is soggy..."

"Let's go! We can come back and do some homework. I think hanging out by the fire place will work for us!" Gaia walks to the common room entrance and waits.

Amanda follows happily, and hopes they can get some breakfast. She really is very hungry! "That sounds great! I need to do some studying, definitely. I'm worried about Arithmancy. Numbers are not my thing..."

"I know what you mean. Breakfast? You think there will be waffles? I want waffles. I love numbers hopefully we can keep working with numerology!"

"Oooh waffles do sound amazing. Extra whipped cream please!" Amanda giggled a little. She then added seriously, "I'm eager to start Defense Against the Dark Arts too. It sounds like it could be scary!"

"Scary? NAH! You are a powerful witch!" with that Gaia walks out the door skipping to the Great Hall.

Amanda laughs and follows Gaia happily and they make their way down to the Great Hall.

Gaia walks in the common room still eating whipped cream from a cup. "I think food was delicious!" Sits by the fire and warms her feet while petting all the pets in the common room.

Amanda joins Gaia in an armchair by the fire with a bit of toast and a glass of orange juice in her hands. Luna jumps up on to her lap promptly and begins to purr.

Gaia seems to be pondering something by the fire... "Do you think we will learn about Nargles?" Gaia thinks to herself where are her others friends. She seems to have missed () Ethel and Beth () in the Great Hall. [i]WHERE IS FADE?">/i Gaia thought looking around.

"Thank you for being discreet." said Deme to Hannah coming down the stairway to the common room with her. "It's fine," replied Hannah trying to not rub her arm. "I'm sorry you have to go through with this. It's just.." "No, I get it." said Hannah to him. "I would have asked my mother to send me some, but she says she's having problem transporting some. Something about the containers not holding all the way or something." "Maybe another, you-know-what is trying to take them." "I wouldn't think that would be a problem. There are many magical creatures in the wizarding world, aren't there?"

"Has anyone figured out a drying spell yet?" she groaned, glancing toward her classmates. "I wasn't even aware that "water balloons" existed. But I must admit... they were a bit fun." She smiled toward then began ringing out her hair.

"I'm shocked Professor Sparks didn't take house points; I mean, she did after all walk right into that mess. But I suppose that would be difficult since members from all houses were tossing about balloons and hexes in the end."

"That's a gorgeous cat," she turned toward Amanda (). "It really makes me wish I brought mine instead of Salmon-guise." She glowered at her seagull, who was flying overhead, chasing a sootball about the room.

Gaia watches as someone walks in and plops in front of the fire while wet and giggles a little, she approaches the girl drawing her wand out. "I can help you! My name is Gaia. Would you like me to dry you up faster? I promise to be careful!" Gaia offers with a smile and offering her hand to help her fellow Ravenclaw from the floor.

"ETHEL!!!!! Wade is out again!" Gaia says while giggling. "He might be scaring some of our fellow CAW CAW's!"

"Please do!" Elune exclaimed, as she grabbed her textbook from the hearth. She handed it to Gai then blushed at her sudden awareness that her robes were still soaking wet.

"I'm Elune," she smiled back and clumsily extended her hand. "Could you show me that drying spell? I'm afraid Professor Mathers would be embittered to find my book like this. I've heard she can be rather strait-laced." Elune bit her lip at the thought of the upcoming Potions class.

"Is Wade a snake?" she asked and looked about in wonder. "I heard there might be a Parselmouth at school this year. I wonder if we'll get to meet him or her."

"Sure thing!" Gaia said with a wink and she did her complicated wave movement and hot air poured out of the tip of her wand. "I learned this from my dad. I used it to dry Ethel and I when we got soaked. It is sort of complicated but I can show you! In the mean time..." Gaia looks at the book and points her wand at its pages "THERE! All dry, now let's get you dry!" Gaia moves her wands around Elune to dry her clothes and hair. She also dries the floor with it. "Wade is a snake. He is super friendly. () Ethel has never told me anything about talking to snakes. I wonder if she does! Wade is really smart. I do think he understand quite a bit." Gaia goes back to her chair and offers Elune some chocolate frog pieces.

A rush of warmth fell over Elune as the spell finished its course. She stared at her robes in awe and made a mental note to look up that charm later.

"Thank you so much!" she responded, then settled next to Gaia on the couch. She caught one of the frogs in her palm and began nibbling on its leg. "These are some of my favorites. Although, I really enjoy Pepper Imps." She withdrew her tin of candies and passed them to Gaia.

"Wow, I'm really glad Headmaster Persnickety allowed us to bring different familiars to school this year. I don't know what I'd do without Salmon-guise, really, although, I'll have to keep an eye on him now that I've seen Wade, as he is a little skittish."

"Is Ethel your sister then?" She quivered as a chocolate frog hopped inside her stomach. "Mine was placed in Gryffindor (). It's been a little hard transitioning to Ravenclaw without her, although, everyone seems rather friendly here."

@ elune "Thanks! I love Pepper Imps!" Gaia popped on in her mouth. "Salmon-guise?" Gaia giggles "Ethel is my twin, but not my sister. We met on the train while she was looking for Wade!" Another giggle. "Well I am here for you!" Gaia cups her mouth and does the Ravenclaw battle cry "CAW CAW" and bursts out laughing.
