Rin rather looked like a deer in headlights. "I thought I could just put on a dress and be done with it. I didn't know I actually had to do this other stuff!"

() "You don't have to if you don't want to." Gaia smiled "but if you do I am here if you would like some help getting ready!"

"Ooh, those are all beautiful, but I especially like these," Elune exclaimed, pointing at the few that stood out in catalogue.

She stood in front of the mirrors and shook her hair loose, ready to be spelled for the outfits.

Gaia waved her wand, and performed a charm on the mirrors. Elune heard a Pop! as each dress materialized for one minute before disappearing.

She eyed then blushed. "I understand your hesitation, Rin. It can take a lot out of you to dress up. But it's only for one night of the school-year... and, well, it makes me feel like I can be anyone for just a few hours." She twirled around again to examine a dress, then muttered, "What book are you reading?"

Then, she flipped through a spare catalog for Beth (). "I'm no expert, but these are a few easy to layer dresses in those colors."

Beth goes in front of the mirrors and waits for . Gaia waves her wand and performs the charms yet again.

"Hmm...I don't think I should wear black. I think the black dresses are too much black for me. It would also be easier if I knew how I was styling my hair. I still don't know how I would accessorize for the ball's theme either," Beth said with a frustrated sigh.

"Those dresses are beautiful but I'm not sure how well they look with my skin. My pale skin is a curse."

Gaia continues to look at Beth like she is considering something and then without warning starts waving her wand with some complex movements while sticking her tongue out slightly. Gaia mutters a charm and () Beth's hair begins to shift. "How about... THIS!" Gaia was excited about the possibilities. "Or we could always go for a more sophisticated look like so. We could even add some sparkling details at the top so the light catches while you dance!"

Gaia turns some pages on one of the magazines "As for a dress let's try something..." Gaia gets lost in her thoughts and starts waving her wand again. "This one we can alter the color to teal or even purple!" Gaia said with pride in her voice. "Go on! Twirl!" Gaia giggled.

"I think the blue dress is perfect! It also allows for some sparkly tights and shoes for dancing and accent to your galactic theme!"

While the girls busied themselves with outfit collaborations, Fade rolled out of his chair amidst the fashion show and wandered over to one of the many bookshelves lining the walls of the common room. Most of the books had very strange titles. Some of them appeared to be in languages or perhaps ruins he couldn’t recognize. Plucking a bronze gilded navy covered tome from the wall, Fade pushed the hinge opened and cracked the cover.

The entirety of the first page was devoted to a photo of a plump lady seated beside a crackling fire. Her facial features were almost completely drowned in a massive fur shawl that was comically paired with a pair of much-too-small-for-her-face spectacles that sat perched precariously on the end of her nose. Atop her head sat one of the most ridiculously gaudy hats Fade had ever seen. Unable to contain himself he burst into laughter and then quickly tried to cover it up by clearing his throat and coughing a few times. Unfortunately his hair gave him away by turning a rosy shade of pink.

() Gaia notices Fade walking towards the books and watches him with a smile on her face. She continue to help the girls but kept looking over. His laughter made her jump and with a chuckle Gaia asked "Fade! Are you okay?" When looking at his hair she realized his face was turning pink too and Gaia quickly waved her wand. "You should try on some clothes too Fade!" POP

"Oh, thank you both!" Elune exclaimed then stepped back to make room at the mirrors. She grinned as she watched Beth try on a few dresses.

"You look gorgeous. Both blue and silver are suiting on you. And they're very Ravenclaw (the movie colors, anyway)." She gasped when gold dust appeared in Beth's hair.

As a loud guffaw escaped from the corner of the room, she turned her head to face Fade (). She snickered when she spotted his new hat. "That's very suiting on you," she said, while trying to keep a serious face.

"I'll...think about it," she said finally. "Does a ponytail count? Cos I was thinking of wearing this." She reached into her bag, pulling out a muggle envelope. She opened it and plucked a single picture from inside and held it up.

"It's a book on different hardware components," Rin replied. "I'm trying to brush up on a few things because clearly I don't remember enough."

"Brighton, why?"

() Gaia turns to Rin and takes a look at the picture. "Hum... what about this" One simple wave and Rin's hair changes. Gaia looks form side to side. "We could also try for something longer and soft?!" Gaia takes another look at the picture.

Gaia starts concentrating again a few waves of her wand but nothing happened. "UGH" Gaia tries again this time looking at Rin "how.. about... this?" "Oh Oh OH! How about this one? very refined and goes perfect with the dress! You could even wear a simple and some comfortable dance shoes and you are ready to go!"

Rin yelped in alarm at the odd sensations and threw her arms over her head. "What did you do to my hair?!" A few strands fell in her face and she squeaked in alarm. Lowering her arms, she patted at the top of her hair experimentally.

() "Take a look in the mirror! You look beautiful!" Gaia smiled.

Rin bit her lip and gingerly craned her neck so she could see into the mirror. "...Oh," she murmured after a moment.

"You don't like it? We can keep trying!"

"I didn't say I didn't like it. It's just new."

"Well" Gaia smiles "Let me know! I think it looks lovely!"

Elune glanced at the page Rin () was reading. It was covered in images and symbols that appeared foreign to her.

"Hardware components? I'm not familiar with that. It looks very complex, like ancient runes," she murmered, then noticed the piqued look on Rin's face. "Excuse my ignorance. I don't know much about the muggle world."

She sat on the couch and observed Gaia perform spells on Rin's hair. "That one really suits you, as it's really close to your natural hair."

"Gotta love hair coloring charms! I have become avid at them! I love changing my hair color!"

"What else do you have?" She asked curiously.

Rin tapped her fingers on the cover of the book briefly then tucked it in her bag. "I didn't think you'd understand. Many muggles don't, either. I'm working on something and I need a specific part but I can't figure out what it is."
