I think so too. It would simplify things so much, and I really would not mind in the least getting rid of my extras. It would be a relief actually.

Uh, no? Y'all have every right to be upset about it, but I think people are making a big deal out of it for no reason. If there's a compromise to be reached, that's great. I'm not a fan of the "count every item on your account" idea, but I suppose I could make due if it was implemented. If not, people are going to flip out but in the end it's still only 14 achievements. Less if you're actually working towards them. I just don't understand how losing the availability of 14 achievements or less would drive anyone away (I mean, what's even keeping them here then?) when there are so many others to earn, that take just as much time and effort if you need a long term goal (not to mention, selling off your hoard could get you a lot of sP towards the next goal).

Again, it sucks, but it happens. (Again, I know. I was working on these when it first came up that they were retiring). I got over it, and I'm all for the retirements if it will help the site.

You're not that much farther than I was at the time, I fail to understand how you obviously put so much more effort into them than I did, to understand this clearly alien concept of having a goal I was working on becoming unachievable 😒 There will be new achievements to take their place, you might as well put all the time and energy you're spending arguing about it into a new goal. Do something productive.

Check my other galleries. I am busting my buns right now trying to shift everything over to the right gallery. And then move things out of my vault to that gallery. I'm a lot further along than you realize, it's just scattered at the moment.

Even moving it to the vault would be better than just retiring it!

I am... so tired. Just got 362 new items for my hoard, and I STILL need 134 items to reach 38,000. It better not retire this month. I am so close I can taste it D:

i for one like to have goals.. and working that hard and long does affect me more then just 14 achievements.. it's been 365 days a year.. 8 years ..

Yes I do ! I just wish the user price filter was accurate... but after i get 100-200 items I mass categorize and update my checklist at SLodge.

I also keep track of new items on my WL.... I have taken quite a lot of items off it today lol

Yep . There comes a time when items worth less than 20-25k are hard to find... but I am doing another run on the shops, finding several items restocking, this helps! lol

Haven't read all 6 pages of the discussion, but I don't mind if the achievements were removed, as long as I can still keep my hoard..

If there was some kind of restriction on number of items on an account (that prevented hoarding) then I don't know what I'd do on Subeta.. hoarding is literally all I do nowadays, haha.

They shouldn't make an exception for this achievement when they haven't for any others is all I'm saying.

It wouldn't be fair to new users. "Oh you can't ever get this achievement, but the others who have signed up before you are allowed to still work on it."

I work towards everything on this site. I most particularly want the "All The Things" achievement. but there are plushies and stickers and beanbags I will probably NEVER get no matter how much sP or real money I put into the collections. It sucks, but that's life.

Honestly guys I don't see why this is a big deal. You would think people would want the entire site to be better, not be selfish and let the site suffer so they could get a few measly achievements.
