I doubt I'll ever actually get out of TN, but I've fantasied about moving out in the middle of the woods outside of the state and building a cob house. We're about to move into my fourth apartment but desperately hoping this will be the last one before we can get a house.

Oh to need to do yard work! ;-; I sometimes feel that I will live eternally in apartments, jumping from one place to another every other year with no place of my own to put down roots and call my own!! One of these daaaays! I'm going to visit my dad after I get off work tonight so I'll probably be helping him with yard work tomorrow! Hand-made gifts are the best gifts, I'm sure your Grad Hazard will love them! Our twin nieces turned 13 over the weekend. I decided to get them journals and truly hope they'll use them! Have I mentioned that I work at a children's hospital? It is crazy how many young kids wind up in the emergency room for mental health reasons. I think everyone should take time to unplug and put a pencil (or pen!) to paper and just get some thoughts out of their head. It keeps me sane, I know that much! While I don't write creatively anymore, I've been journalling consistently since around the 2019. I've discovered that I prefer dot format, lines feel too constrictive, plus I like to doodle sometimes. And now I have a use for all the stickers I've collected over the years!
