i haven't played mass effect but just as a guess, i definitely don't think their conversation would be very 'nice' because it's hard to imagine glados having a nice conversation with most others 😭 maybe it'd be funny to narrow down the (probably short) list of characters she'd get along with ...

the price increases for hardware have been brutal in the past few years, so i feel you. i'm kicking myself for not picking up new ram and an nvme sooner, but i had no idea this would happen to the prices for stuff we used to think of as fairly cheap pc parts. :(

i imagine the steam machine delays/lack of price announcements prior to the actual drop were due to valve not wanting to release them at the prices they are now, but eventually not having a choice beyond bumping the price up to reflect the market. it's a shame, as it could've been a neat option for gaming areas/apartments with less space. i hope your mini computer's been treating you well!!

i'm sorry to hear that, that's so strange ... 😭 the fun thing about tf2 is anyone can still enjoy the hilarious animated videos even if you don't play the game! medic and scout are probably my favourites too but like many valve enjoyers, i also adore glados :)

thank you!! :D i did play portal 2 a bunch including the co-op and, as many people do, created portals that tossed my friends into the death water below ... i definitely plan on playing portal 1 (and then replaying 2) and half-life sometime but i'm in no rush, since they'll always be on steam. :) any particular fave games or characters from the valve bunch for you?
