I happened on an old throwback from a series I like, Hot Wheels Highway 35. The tune Hot by Smashmouth, which is the opening theme to the racing game. Kinda on the level of Trampled Underfoot by Led Zeppelin, but I'm talking about a car...
The nest to last step is to replace the catalytic converter, the one it has now is not up to the task. It broke in two twice already, and I think it may be too damaged to operate correctly. Now, should it pass inspection, I'll need to renew it's registration before I can drive her again. Then comes the fun part, she needs an alignment for the front suspension, since I took that apart at least three times during the transmission escapade. Later on I can try for an AC system recharge, a brake job and a major clean up. The things I do for my first car...
The short version is I was diagnosed in my teens, and managed to claim disability. That meant for a time I couldn't work normal hours or keep a job for long. So, I did what looks like retirement for about two decades. I made effortst to get some kind of skills to enter a vocation I can use. This late start may mean a short career and fewer prospects of a legitimate retirement. My disability has never been physical, so I have freelanced al this time.
Cool, you're close to a Grad Hazard sighting! I'm toughing out the sun's fury to fix my car's wiring. For now I'm inside eating some big burritos before venturing again. I so want to put my degree to work and feel that Im contributing after this long retirement because of my schizophrenia.
I dare to ask, how have you been lately? I'm closer to getting my car passable for inspection, but an electrical issue sprouted and I'll be hard pressed to resolve it. Emissions wise she's acceptable, but any MIL on the dash can result in a Fail. I I'm now what to do, the infernal heat though puts a big stifle on my progress. I'm putting my knowledge to test here, so this is just more practice.
