Hi Duckie!! 😊 I haven't heard from you in quite awhile and I am sorry for not sending you any messages in all this time. How are you doing? Are you being affected by the smoke form the wildfires? Not much is really new for me just doing some crocheting and thinking of possibly crocheting my own maxi skirt or perhaps a cloak. Haven't decided yet.

I am already looking forward to fall as this heat is not my cup of tea. Anyways I thought I should check in on you and see how things are going where you are.

Oh i am so glad you are ok! I was so worried!! Shame they can't help you fix it. I've been busy. As you know i am going back to school to get a higher nurising degree. I need to switch departments as i can't stay as i can get favored and i don't want that. I start august 17 there, i am going to take care of people for my 1st year in there own homes so on my bike to various homes, in the next neighborhood (15 minute bike ride). School starts august 28th with an introduction. Now having my last week of vacation, been to Copenhagen last week and this week just home. Back to work on tuesday and then 4 more weeks before i leave my loveky co-workers and residents. Will miss them big time.

How are you holding up? What is the latest with your son and your health. How is hubby?

Oh, by the way, just checked and you don't have a mask on so I can't dance with you. Today is the last day of Masq. I really hate that they didn't put all the new stuff in the shops. They actually have very little new stuff anyway. The best things I like are the colorful frames for backgrounds for the HAs.

OMG I know! I went thru that shit for a long time. But now doing much better. Really glad to hear from you, tho! <3

I'm ok, and nose is sooooo much better! I can breathe well now. Very happy about that. Otherwise, just tired all the time, which doesn't help when I'm also busy. I have had and STILL have so many appts this month! Usually with a lot of my doctors I go every six months, and most of the time they fall in Jan and July. This month has just been hectic and overloaded, and I still have 5 more appts! Gah! One I have to go to the main hosp in Ft Worth instead of my usual branch, and anxiety runs high to go there. The trip over is sometimes a bitch, and the trip back can really be worse. So many times I have missed my exit or taken the wrong one, and I shit you not it has literally been two hours to get back to where I need to be. So total waste of time and near heart failure later... thank God my son doesn't mind taking me. Then there is the enormous hospital itself, and finding the right place in it is almost as nerve wracking. At least they have info desks and good signage. I avoid having to go like the plague but they just don't do this lung CT scan at the branch. Never had one, but I guess its something they want to do as you get older.

Two appts are for my cats AGAIN this month. Two had their teeth cleaned, cbc, lab tests, and they found tapeworms. OMG! Ewww... Anyway, they got shots for that because I refuse to even try anymore to give pills. And the vet wanted to give secondary shots 3 weeks later. So because two had them, I had to take in Bongo separately. Yes he had them too. He got a shot as well, and has another apt the day before I take in the other two again. I don't have another carrier (yet) so only two at a time. Two is serious effort, so unless Cory is off, even if I did have a third carrier, I couldn't do three cats. Anyway, I will be glad for once when its August and I only have a couple appts. Other than that its the most hated month here because its usually the hottest. Oh well.
