Here is just one of many sites that talks about it : https://sohumhealing.com/the-principles-of-ayurvedic-medicine/ and I find that, along with Traditional Chinese Medicine, makes a lot of sense as it treat the body as a whole integrated system (which it is) instead of just treating one area as if it is totally isolated from the rest of the body.

However in the U.S most of the populace has been conditioned to see the body as just a pile of separate parts and that the only way to address an issue is solely through pharmaceuticals rather than adjusting diets and temporarily implementing specific herbs to bring balance back to the entire body.

It is interesting or at least I think so.

I understand, you would have to come to Paris to help me move. :) Thank you for the kind intentions

I notice that as I get older I can't just chug down a glass of cold liquid like I used to do and discovered after reading info on Ayurvedic medicine that drinking really cold water, especially on an empty stomach, can actually disrupt the digestive system and everything else too.

After reading about Ayurvedic medicine it really begins to make sense how everything in the body is connected and what you do will affect everything else in some way and it is not always in a small way either.

That part I can agree with PLUS it is easier on the stomach too. Cool drinks are ok when it is hot but not ice-cold as i really don't like those for teh most part -unless it is a shake or something. Sometimes in the morning I try to have a small glass of room temp or slightly warm water as that doesn't bother my tummy especially first thing in the morning.

Umm...I..might try that someday :)
