Subeta Meetup: Portland, Oregon!

Hello, Subeta! Will you be in the Portland, Oregon area during St. Patrick's Day weekend? Then why don't you join and myself (and perhaps , too!) for a Portland-area Subeta Meetup!

This meetup will be on Saturday, March 16th and we will be meeting at the Oregon Convention Center from 1-4 PM! The exact location in the convention center has yet to be determined, as neither nor I have been there but it has been suggested as a great place to meet - anyone who wants to share a good area inside to meet, please feel free!

Please remember that anyone who attends (for more than an hour) gets a special achievement which comes with the Meetup Bag! And don't forget to wear green - we'll have a special little treat for anyone who does!

If you use Facebook, feel free to join the events page and RSVP, or let us know here that you'll be coming. We look forward to hanging out with you all!

Sweetheart Bumbus + Chai

What's your emotion in love? Do you identify more with the serene sweetheart chai or the silly-happy sweetheart bumbus?

NEW PET COLOR: Sweetheart

Louis here, again! ❤️

I have been hearing people are wishing for sickness from Underground. The CID has truly taken care of that with their vaccines, but I may be able to offer a compromise! All those candy hearts that were previously used to cure Underground viruses in Subetans have another effect entirely on our pets! (Why didn't I think of this sooner?!)

Behold, the sweetheart harvester, jollin, and lain (with more to come)! Think of it as a cross between love "sickness" and a sugar rush! If you like these as much as I do, the new potion sells in the L'Amour Parlor, of course! Come see me.

xoxo

Kissing!

Kissing has been flipped on in the Survival Forums, and you now get candy hearts for kissing so pucker up!

Site Lag and Profiles!

Hey everyone! We are working on the lag around the site and as a consequence we had to take user profiles offline.

For the time being we have put candy hearts into the Free Shop!

L\\\'amour Parlor

Bonjour, mademoiselles (and monsieurs, I am an equal opportunity man of taste), it is I, Louis L\'amour, the true love doctor.

With the CID vaccine whisking away my business this year, a sophisticated gentleman must improvise, and so I would like to announce the grand opening of the L\'amour Parlor, a shop for all people of taste and decadence. I will be offering a variety of products (and services, if that is more to your taste), and all I ask in return is handful of candy hearts.

Stop by anytime and see the exciting packages I have waiting for you!

Subeautique: Professor New Zombelle & Zombeau

In honor of the festivities being held in Shadowglen Underground, Subeautique designer Professor New has come out with two stylish zombie-themed fashion lines.

We Invite You!

On behalf of the United Zombie Alliance, we are pleased / mildly irritated to welcome / begrudgingly invite all non-infected citizens of Subeta to partake in the festivities being held in the Shadowglen Underground, celebrating the founding of our great city. Local businesses have stocked exciting new merchandise and will be happy to serve non-infected citizens of every type, though this may only appeal to those with a more precocious sense of adventure.

Remember, this is a racially sensitive holiday, and so those that choose to wear masks will not be permitted into the city. This also applies to un-living citizens: Masks of any kind are not to be worn or displayed. We would like to promote tolerance on all fronts.

We hope that you enjoy the activities for this year, and hope that it will set the benchmark for ____many years to come / possible subsequent years, entirely dependent the behavior of those invited
____.

Survival Memorial Opened!

Titania McGee here with Channel 5 News, your best source for up to date information.

The anniversary of the Great Pandemic approaches, and that means that it is once again time to honor the departed and celebrate our own survival of the diseases that have taken so many people over the last 4 years. Don't forget to offer your thoughts to those that passed by laying flowers at, or offering a kiss to, the Survival Memorial in Centropolis.

In positive news, this bittersweet occasion has taken a new turn: The Center of Infectious Disease is proud to announce that a vaccine has passed through all clinical trials, and has been released publicly. While it will not cure those already infected, this vaccine should prevent any further infections from occurring.

Perhaps we can finally put this tragedy, and those that lost their lives to it, to rest.

Please stand by for further development.

Weekend Quests

Quentin is the weekend quest! Do those quests for increased prizes and special rewards!

Item Retirements

About 100 of the Accessory Bin's oldest accessories have been retired.

The Luminaire and New Year items from the Holiday Shop have also retired.

That is Careapy!

A Careaper has been seen scampering around the Battle Coliseum! We hear these guys only come out of hiding for the 13th of every month.

(Careapers usually wake up at midnight, but this one seems to be late -- maybe it wants to be around for part of Valentine's Day, too? Careapers just LOVE love, after all. Such happy little fellows. Can't imagine why they're considered bad luck!)

Accessory Bin: Cravats

Make a statement with one of these new cravats from the Accessory Bin!

Note: On Thursday the 14th, some of the oldest accessories will be retired from the Accessory Bin.

Shinwa!

I\'ve heard that Shinwa has been uncommonly kind in her quests recently, giving out an extra item for every few quests you do! I wouldn\'t expect this little burst of giving to last very long, though.
