Someone sent me all the items I need, but it was in an anonymous gift box and I don't know if that was an accident or if it was actually a gift! if you sent these to me and accidentally made it anonymous and it was a loan not an actual gift, please let me know

I want to thank and for loaning me retired items for this achievement. I really appreciate it very much.
I also would like to say we should not have to try and make an achievement with items no longer available or retired. That is great for people that have been on the site since the beginning and may have them. :)

While I am one of the few who am not interested in this border (hence not involving myself in the earlier discussion), I would like to say this in response to one of your points. When this was being discussed on the sb after it was first released, one of the other users stated that Amber had suggested that there was a possibility of the retired items being unretired. Now, whether or not that's a real possibility (one would have to ask Amber about that or go to the forums to ask), it does suggest that such concerns are being considered by the staff.

That said, your points are valid ones, and I wish you luck getting that border.

I know this wasn't directed to me, but wanting things to be reliably obtainable =/= want things handed out for no effort. People don't want the stuff for free, they want it to be easier to get. Easier to get does not mean free. But these items are retired. Meaning, no more are in circulation (besides that chance machine I guess, but that's CSC-locked and also reliant on rng, so I wouldn't exactly call that a reliable source). It's not like they're a super rare item that still restocks. If it was available still but hard to get, sure. But there's no reliable way to get the items and they're not going to go down in price anytime soon because they're retired and don't stock at all (and what if they go unbuyable for a while? No one can buy them then.). I'm not trying to argue, just pointing it out. I've seen a lot of comments about how people "don't want to put in the effort" on another site when it comes to people wanting things to be more easily obtainable, so yeah. No one said that they want it to be free.

I mean, if they end up being gettable via Major Drills I'd be fine for that. It's, yeah, rng, but it's doable, puts more of the item in circulation, and best of all, isn't CSC locked.

And not directed at anyone in particular, but also with the lending... we shouldn't have to rely on lending to get things like this. Yes, achievements involving the forums and stuff like that can be revolved around being social, but... this? Not everyone wants to be social, not everyone wants to rely on lending to get achievements. In fact, I'm nervous about lending things for this and that's why I haven't mentioned it. What if a glitch happens and the item disappears? I don't want something happening to the item while it's in my hands, to someone else's item, even if I can get it back. It makes me anxious, and I just... I don't like having to lend other peoples' stuff, especially if it's expensive.

if you go to your achievements page it should be the first one to show up on the list. There are about 30 flower wearables you need in order to get it. A number of users are lending out the more expensive items to help people get the achievement if you dont have them. Just browse the comments and you'll find users able to help. :) That's how I got mine.

In what spot did I say that I am against hard work? I even talked about the "delete an Ether" achievement, and how that one is better-designed than using retired, volatile and user-reliant one. This is not a challenge. It is only a challenge because the item is volatile, and the 'challenge' itself can be circumvented because you can just get lent by people. If you want actual challenges, you do things like the ether achievement, which are always constant and there for you to aim. You don't have to rely on people lending you, or the economy being stable. Ether will always cost what it costs.

I am with and I have to say I get tired of no one wanting to work for things in order to have them. I don't like that a lot of times staff feel pressured into giving into the user base and handing things out. Things have to retain value somehow, It can't just be handout after handout each and every time. Want it? Good...Do some work and you can and will achieve it. Nothing is out of reach on this site and to compare it to that other site is just wrong.

Someone was kind enough to lend me the hard to get items for this achievement. I have the other items left over so I am paying it forward. If you are a new player, low on Vesnali currency, or don't want to buy the Esther items yourself - I have 23 of the 30 items I'd be happy to bulk lend. :)
