Summer Raffle: Prizes

Before we get on to the prizes, let’s take a look at how many people entered the Summer Raffle!

We had 3,059 users enter the raffle with a total of 12,909 tickets entered! Everyone that entered will be able to enjoy the new forum title needs to get lost.

We’re not going to list out every winner because we have well over 800 prizes to give out. But we will go over what was given out. Due to the insane amount of tickets entered, we added a few prizes to be given out. Below are the prizes that have been given out for the Summer Raffle:

300 lucky entries received 250 Credit Gift Cards!
100 lucky entries received a random cash shop item!
100 lucky entries received a random Pawn Shop Custom Wearable item we’ve removed from the shop
300 lucky entries received a referral point!
500 lucky entries received a forum shop point!
750 lucky entries received a random rarity 90-98 item!
2500 lucky entries received a random baking or scroll ingredient!

For those of you who didn't have any winning tickets, we've got a special surprise for you! You’ll receive the forum title is unlucky. Please note that this title is not exclusive to this event, and will be brought back in the future when appropriate.

All prizes have been given out!

Edit: Just to be clear, we gave out the originally listed prizes out first (the gift cards, cash shop items, pawn shop wearables, referral points). The additional prizes were handed out with the remaining tickets in the pool—your odds of winning the better prizes would have been the same had we not added the extras! If you only received one of the prizes we added today, you would have otherwise won nothing.

thank you for hosting the raffle! i hope this could maybe become a recurring event, it really encourages people to use features they otherwise would have no incentive to use. i was never interested in the baking feature enough to use it, but this forced me to do so and i thought it was very enjoyable.

I do think it would be really cool if those that got common items could get the forum title too. It's way better than an item worth a couple thousand Sp. (Personally I got lucky, my Wheat Flour is worth ~40k)

Thx to the SubetaTeam for the SummerRaffle. ^-^ I wasn't online often last Month and joined the SummerRaffle four times in the last days. And then i was gifted with three items now, that is very the best start into the Weekend. It would be cool, when the Raffle comes back sometime. It was fun and a nice Quest too. Just to be clear, the edited part means that whether you received one of the lesser desirable prizes OR the unlucky title, you would have otherwise got nothing. Not that if you won a less than desirable item that you would have otherwise got the unlucky title. This has very specifically been stated in multiple places by staff.

I got a clump of dirt :P Sacred dirt, but still dirt :P I do think that the raffle was a nice way to encourage us to visit site features we might not have otherwise, or possibly even forgotten about, though.

The edited statement doesn't make me feel better. I WOULD of rather won nothing. B/c I would of gotten the "unlucky" title. I won apples. Worth 1,000 sp. I NEVER complain about events and I LOVE Subeta with my whole heart. But, this event made me feel very slighted.

Oceane is really right, but it still sucks to see all these comments saying they won a 250 gift card when they entered once. =( I guess if this happens again there's not much point in spending a lot of sp to enter everyday when I'll probably get a ginger and cave moss in the end.

At least it was a fun event that got me involved in some aspects of the site where I wasn't involved before.

There's a lot of people here who don't understand probability and how unfair it can be. Having more entries doesn't mean you're guaranteed to win multiple prizes or that they'll be distributed evenly.

lol.. I entered with 1 ticket and ended up getting the 250 credit gift card.. would've loved the unlucky title .. but its awesome to have gotten this since chances were so small o_o

My earlier comment at being disappointed for being awarded a common item as a prize should NOT be misconstrued as me saying I deserved one of the big prizes. I would have much rather gotten the Unlucky title than an item I pass over every day during my restocking. I received one "prize" but I did notice a lot of people got multiple prizes. Surprisingly, some of those that got major prizes ended up getting more than one. Sometimes up to 4 of the major prizes. That's a bit odd. Even if they put in a ticket every day. What are the odds of that happening, not just once but multiple times. I entered every day so my odds were as good as theirs. Having said all of that the bottom line is it was a raffle.... ya pay yer dues and hope for the best. It's a crap shoot at best. Never expected to win anyway. Just hate this bad taste in my mouth over some of the inconsistencies and worthless prizes. But get a grip people... they are pixels and you didn't really lose anything of importance in the grand scheme of things except your time.

I didn't realize that o: i might have to try it next time. what I did was vend like crazy for items lol but really trying to do the baking made me excited to see progress in it. :3 I didn't give it an honest try when it first came out, but this time was different. So it was actually a win-win for me in that respect

and , and others who got discouraged from the baking part, I found out (after it was too late to enter that day) that you only had to click on the bake button, even if you didn't have all the ingredients for said item, and it COUNTED that you attempted to bake something. For next time, just remember, you don't actually have to spend that much money on the baking ingredients. ;)

I really enjoyed this raffle. Making scrolls and baking was a bit stressful, but I Had fun and got some prizes out of it too. I received a raffle ticket, a light sugar pack, and some crypt dust. The only suggestions I have for any future raffles like this is maybe prepare for major item inflation. A little bit of price increase is expected, but this go-round things got a bit crazy. Also, it'd be best to have only tasks that both computer and mobile users can complete. Overall this was fun and look forward to events like this in the future.
