Summer Raffle: Prizes

Before we get on to the prizes, let’s take a look at how many people entered the Summer Raffle!

We had 3,059 users enter the raffle with a total of 12,909 tickets entered! Everyone that entered will be able to enjoy the new forum title needs to get lost.

We’re not going to list out every winner because we have well over 800 prizes to give out. But we will go over what was given out. Due to the insane amount of tickets entered, we added a few prizes to be given out. Below are the prizes that have been given out for the Summer Raffle:

300 lucky entries received 250 Credit Gift Cards!
100 lucky entries received a random cash shop item!
100 lucky entries received a random Pawn Shop Custom Wearable item we’ve removed from the shop
300 lucky entries received a referral point!
500 lucky entries received a forum shop point!
750 lucky entries received a random rarity 90-98 item!
2500 lucky entries received a random baking or scroll ingredient!

For those of you who didn't have any winning tickets, we've got a special surprise for you! You’ll receive the forum title is unlucky. Please note that this title is not exclusive to this event, and will be brought back in the future when appropriate.

All prizes have been given out!

Edit: Just to be clear, we gave out the originally listed prizes out first (the gift cards, cash shop items, pawn shop wearables, referral points). The additional prizes were handed out with the remaining tickets in the pool—your odds of winning the better prizes would have been the same had we not added the extras! If you only received one of the prizes we added today, you would have otherwise won nothing.

Thank you for the Raffle event. I am not able to get on every day, but I looked forward to the pool and finding things in there. I was amazed at what I got from there. To get a title and a prize at the end was fun, but the stuff I got along the way made me day. Can't say thank you enough - you guys did a great job :) and I enjoyed it :)

I got three little prizes, and while I'd rather have the unlucky title, I'm still satisfied. I enjoyed the event for itself because it was fun! The prizes, other than the only thing that was promised (the get lost title), are nothing more than a bonus because I didn't expect to win anything.

Exactly! I didn't expect anything from the raffle; it would have been nice to win, but I wouldn't have been bitter about not getting any of the previously announced prizes. It's a raffle, which means a solid chance of nothing. I was prepared for that, but thought that if an alert showed up it would instead be something that would really cheer up a crappy day. Instead I got an alert for something I didn't expect and wasn't looking for, well before finding out from the news. And while I'm happy for the people who enjoyed their unexpected prizes, that just isn't in my psychological makeup (and I rather resent the implication that I'm such a terrible person for being different, as well as people making their personal moral high ground by stepping all over me).

I appreciate that staff put this together, I do. I hope they do another one. I would just personally prefer not to have an extra list of highly variable prizes added after the fact.

I've been commenting a lot in here, apologies to anyone that finds that annoying.

I just want to say that I understand being disappointed in not winning anything but an SP item/forum title, esp those that put a lot of SP into it and remembered to do it everyday for the full 7 entries. I'm sorry you didn't and that you feel bad. And grateful or ungrateful or not, I can understand seeing everyone else getting something you would have rather wanted and feeling like you got cheated, that sucks.

That being said, it is a raffle, and unfortunately, the chances of getting the prize you want are very small due to the amount of people who enter. And that's why raffle's don't promise you anything but the chance to get something, which you have the same chance as everyone else depending on how many days you enter. Sometimes, some are just luckier in the draw than others. That's just how it goes. You can feel left out and cheated and like it was pointless, but at the same time be happy for others they had better luck. There is a way to be. And, in no way should anyone make you feel bad for feeling bad, that is total bull. You are entitled to how you feel, even though you aren't entitled to win the prize you want to win. And just as people are going to come into this post and congratulate and be happy with whatever they got no matter how small or big, people have just as much right to not be and express those feelings, too. Just be courteous to each other. That's all.

I hope we see this event again, personally. I may not have won the biggest prize, but I'm glad we actually had an event that was fun to do everyday for even just a week. It was something everyone could participate in without any given talent and even any given amount of time available to them, and still have a chance at getting a prize for it. Thanks.

For all those 'if you can't be happy you don't deserve any' guys here: if we want Subeta (or anything else in the world) to become better, we need to be allowed to criticise if something feels bad or seems unjust. And fair people will listen and do things better. I'm sure Subeta Staff trys hard to improove tjselves and they try to be fair. They need to know if something didn't work out as planned. If you try to make people happy and t doesn't work out, qell, do better next time. Stop deflating prices on rare items which are so low already, just give the title instead.

I looked at your other comment, and I can see how it'd have been annoying/confusing/disappointing to receive random junk items without having it explained first. I saw the news post about the final rewards before I saw my prizes, so I knew what was going on. It probably would have been a good idea for staff to put the news post out well before starting to hand out prizes, and also for them to mention that the drawings were done from the best prizes to the worst, so no one was worried that they lost out on 250 CSC because of the lower-tier stuff.

The title would have fittet me well, of course I got useless junk instead. My story. Well, maybe next time. It is nice that there have been prizes added. I really lile events like this but even risking being called a sore 'winner' I have to say: it is kinda depressing if you read you won something and then it's completely useless for you and even the looser-prize would have been better. I'd rather have lost and been able to cheer for the happy winners, consolating myself with my title than this. Winnigs should make you happy, not sad.

Also, there's no reason for anyone to be complaining about the nature of the raffle... raffles are random. There was even a disclosure in the first news post that not everyone will win something (minus the "get lost" title). Subeta Team also helped out a lot by giving out a free baking kit and making Empty Vials accessible. This raffle was handled very fairly... anyone blowing a ton of sp at a RANDOM CHANCE at getting something is a personal problem and not the problem of the raffle or Subeta Team.
