Summer Raffle: Prizes

Before we get on to the prizes, let’s take a look at how many people entered the Summer Raffle!

We had 3,059 users enter the raffle with a total of 12,909 tickets entered! Everyone that entered will be able to enjoy the new forum title needs to get lost.

We’re not going to list out every winner because we have well over 800 prizes to give out. But we will go over what was given out. Due to the insane amount of tickets entered, we added a few prizes to be given out. Below are the prizes that have been given out for the Summer Raffle:

300 lucky entries received 250 Credit Gift Cards!
100 lucky entries received a random cash shop item!
100 lucky entries received a random Pawn Shop Custom Wearable item we’ve removed from the shop
300 lucky entries received a referral point!
500 lucky entries received a forum shop point!
750 lucky entries received a random rarity 90-98 item!
2500 lucky entries received a random baking or scroll ingredient!

For those of you who didn't have any winning tickets, we've got a special surprise for you! You’ll receive the forum title is unlucky. Please note that this title is not exclusive to this event, and will be brought back in the future when appropriate.

All prizes have been given out!

Edit: Just to be clear, we gave out the originally listed prizes out first (the gift cards, cash shop items, pawn shop wearables, referral points). The additional prizes were handed out with the remaining tickets in the pool—your odds of winning the better prizes would have been the same had we not added the extras! If you only received one of the prizes we added today, you would have otherwise won nothing.

Oh, I got the Unlucky title! That's cute. I'm someone who buys a lot of trading card booster packs IRL so that title often feels relevant. It's honestly funny how lucky you actually have to be to get the "unlucky" title! You can't get pulled for a single other prize in order to get it.

Thank you for the raffle! It encouraged me to keep progressing in baking, even with the expense.

Thank you. I'll admit I wanted to be one of the CW winners but it's a raffle. Maybe I used up my good luck that one time I entered a mega ticket in potion lottery just once for Drills and won the next day. I got a raffle ticket and frosting and, honestly most of my money was spent on baking kits. Probably five total. I got at least two referral points when posting on the forums so maybe I'm only down about 2 mil and that's OK because I can make that back no problem. I actually have more of an issue getting only 5,000 sp earlier from the baths despite it being the 31st day xD but it's a slight issue.

People were not promised anything. It's a raffle. You saw what the chances to win each prize were. It's just the luck of the draw and if you spent millions and millions in hopes to win 250 CSC then maybe you should have just bought the 250 CSC, yeah?

This little event was so much fun! I enjoyed the tasks, they made me do things I wouldn't normally do, like water a plant, battle, etc. It was really interesting, and it was nice having the chance to win a prize :)! I didn't win anything, but that's fine by me XD you win some, you lose some, that's how it goes. To those who are butt hurt for not winning, this was a RAFFLE, so you were taken a chance on not winning anything, think of it as the potion lottery, you can buy as many tickets as your heart desires, but that doesn't necessarily mean you'll win. Just be grateful you got the chance to compete and better luck next time, right (:?

P.S thanks Subeta Team for putting together this little event ^.^ although I was only able to enter 4 times, I found it a lot of fun.

I honestly can't believe people are actually upset about this. I know I made a joke in an earlier comment about winning Peanuts, but like, seriously? How you anyone be upset because you didn't win something BIG from a randomized contest? Add the fact that someone said they were close to quitting the site because of this?! Another complaining because they spend an excessive amount of sP and is coming across as entitled to the big prize because they spent so much?! I think all the entitlement is more disappointing than anything.

Whilst I personally would have wanted to win the CSC, or a referral point, or even nothing so I could get the Unlucky forum title. (grabby-hand to any forum title) Regardless of anything I really liked the raffle because it took me to places on this site I've never been or forgot about. I forgot about baking and I ended up making an item I want to add to one of my pets treasures. I even finally figured out how to make scrolls. Now just need to figure out how to use them. :)

I had fun and I would do it again no questions asked. THANK YOU SUBETA STAFF FOR BEING AWESOME!!!!

And seriously people, leave the staff alone. They didn't promise everyone would get amazing prizes if they entered every day or won. Most of the promised prizes were random spell or baking ingredients, which are pretty cheap anyway.

(This isn't meant to be a dig at people who are disappointed with what they won, since it's okay to feel a little let down if you didn't win what you were hoping to. But threatening to quit over it or accusing the staff of favoritism is not okay, especially when they tried to make sure everyone who participated got something out of it.)

I really wish this information was in the main News post and not hidden among the hundreds of comments below, because for me that makes a huge difference in how I feel about the results. So... I was already having a bad day and this... This... This did not help. I entered all 7 days and I won 4 items. Their combined worth doesn't even equal one baking kit I had to use to complete my tasks on one of those 7 days. In fact, they don't even equal one-fifth the cost. I could have sold the baking kit and come out better. So, yeah, I'm not going to be happy about those 4 items.

Not only that but by adding in those comparatively worthless items to the prize pool, it reduced my chances of getting pulled for a worthwhile item. That is, unless you ran the code for each different item in consecutive order starting with the "best" and working down the list, one prize type at a time... Which is unlikely but possible I suppose.

And that title... It was funny at first but right now, it just kinda feels like a insult.

I entered exactly 1 time and managed to get 250 csc. People that are complaining about spending so much to get so little expected to be handed the better prizes and it's ridiculous. YOU WERE NOT GARUANTEED ANYTHING AND YOU CHOSE TO SPEND YOUR TIME/SP/ETC ANYWAYS, DEAL WITH IT. I knew after the one entry that entering everyday wouldn't be worth the "maybe" prizes in the end, if you weren't smart enough to think about it then that's your problem. No one forced you to enter multiple times and you're complaining over your own actions and a RANDOM drawing. Don't be upset with that staff!

Thank you for running Subeta and making it a fun place for everyone that understands that it's just a game! I'm sorry that some take it all too seriously.
