Subeta-wise, I can't wait for vesnali as I always look forward to the wears we get. n_n Hoping for something dainty this year. Frills. Lace. I AM READY. Also, I'm exploring more of wig coloring in the hair salon. Not sure I've still gotten the hang of it, but coming up with color combos is fun. :D

Off-subeta-wise, I recently bought Rosewater, a new (came out this week) point and click/adventure western game. It's refreshing playing as a woman in a western themed game. So far, loving it. :3

Also, trying to get over being sick. D: I had a nasty bug. Think it was flu. My voice is still crap.

Hello there! I’m really excited for the masquerade. It is my favorite holiday and it would be really cool if they did a plot with it this year like they did the first year.

I am currently learning to play magic the gathering with my boyfriend as he is really good and it’s his favorite activity.

I also recently broke my leg so I’m stuck at home and trying to find things to fill my day at this point lol

Bit sad Masquerade is in summer now. One of my favorites as well, nerd that I am. Initially I was all in to the steam punk, but now I want more outer space body horror. My husband was just at a mtg day with his buddies. My friend's husband throws these mtg parties every couple of months! I had the house to myself allllll day. My mother just broke her shoulder today. I am fortunate to say I have never broken a bone, however I am in physical therapy for arthritis lololol

I hope we get dark colors. Gothic Lolita with less pastels tho, you know? Mostly the only game I've been playing is Palia. It's a free, cozy, mmo. Switch and steam. I still try to keep masked, so again, I'm pretty fortunate that I haven't gotten sick, but I know there's a big covid surge going around! I'm also unemployed, only go to school 2 times a week and do mostly delivery groceries. Next semester is alllll online baby. Don't ever have to leave my backyard!!

That’s so funny! My boyfriend is currently doing that right now with all his friends. It’s so cute because he dresses up all nice and they play for like 6 hours.

I can’t imagine arthritis. That sounds terrible I’m so sorry. I definitely do not recommend breaking any bones. This is my first one at 30 and it really has not been a good time. I also really enjoy hiking and just in general because anywhere other than my house so this transition has been difficult. I do find out if I graduate to a walking boot on Thursday so fingers crossed!

Masking up is a really good idea. At this rate, my large hols has been ruined largely by BEING sick and there's not a chance in hell that I'll get the time back, so maybe I should start doing that at work again. Although I struggle to breathe for longer periods of time (hours later).

Oh, she just walks too fast and her feet get tangled up. This is the third time she's fallen an hurt her shoulder. Unfortunately she recently moved in with HER mother, to help "take care" of her. Two of the falls have been since then.

Yes! They probably are related to the games! There's movies and television shows, and comics, and books. I've only seen 1 movie tho, and read like 1 comic book arc. They're cute, tho, but the dolls. Oh there are so many dolls. I have "only" 11, but there are hundreds easy. They've been going on for at least a decade.

I don't know much about dev drama, but the palia community can be toxic. I found a pretty chill discord server, they host events and don't mind me not speaking in chat and generally getting high and distracted lol

We started a book club on there too! We just started reading Hench.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure they moved Masq to summer, to give some space between Survival and Vesnali. So, it'll be like ... vesnali next, then masquerade, then beer holiday? Then anniversary, pirates, moros, fire, lumi, back to New year and survival. I think.

My biggest problems with masking (annoyances, petty nothings) is that I get gd sweaty and I can't wear black lipstick lol but I bring a folding fan with me and it helps.

I fell off a mountain in Atlanta at the end of January and then had to get on a plane that day to get home to get a cast put it on it. Unfortunately while flying home, a man accidentally kicked it on the plane. Overall not the best way to end a weekend trip.

I did! I went with my sister, her husband and my boyfriend and it was actually the best time. We went to the aquarium there too which is one of my life goals and it was spectacular

Rosewater, I still haven't finished. There are days when I start a game where I can't be bothered, so I get the lack of motivation bit. ;3; But it is quite the western adventure. It's so far (I'm like 5-6 hours in but I take a looong time exploring all the pixels and interactions lol, so probably only like 3-4 hours in normal game-wise) varied in its western interactions and characters. You get a band of people together to go out (further) west for a reason and you either choose to help people or you don't in their situations. I wonder what a re-run would get me if I did the opposite. For a point and click adventure, it's the most engaging one I've come across recently. The dev said there are like 150+ different backdrops/rooms. It's done with a lot of love and attention. :3

Unsurprisingly, aquariums are my FAVORITE. I've only been to the one in Toronto and one here in Michigan. After we went to the one in Toronto, we had sushi lol and when we went to the one in Michigan, my niece got me a pressed penny with a squid on it. It's very special to me.

We only just started Hench, I'm only on ch3, but it's pretty okay! It's like ... Anna is a temp, Anna gets slammed by a super hero and super hospitalized, Anna starts mathing the cost of super heroes. I read way too much, tbh. I read to ignore my real life responsibilities lolol I could list a million books for people to read. I think so far this year, I've read ... 6ish books? I guess I read about 2 month, if I try to remember back to September. Not counting books I re-read (for example, right now I'm reading Hench w my book club, but for myself I'm rereading Comemadre which is a favorite I would love to own some day)

I spend most of my time lately playing FFXIV with my husband and friends -- I've been playing for about a year now! (Which feels WILD to me) I'm not great at it (': but I have fun regardless. MMOs are usually a big struggle for me but I love the art style ;v;

I heard of Vampire Therapist, but haven't bought or played it yet. C: Got down a rabbit hole of Scarlet Hollow (really good vn, I did a good number of runs, it is still in early access ;3; I cry).

I got covid + flu vax this year and it still like wiped me out for 2 weeks lol. I'm not even sure how I would've fared without the vaccines. D: It was hell. Tough season!! I wish they tested strains more because I'm also really curious what exactly I had.. influenza, covid, both, something else idk.

Especially when the weather is nice, I can just sit outside and read and read. So, let's see, I got the first Mead Mishap book in September, so there were 3 of those I read, plus another book by the same author (Kimberly Lemming) then I read Sister, Maiden, Monster which was so good. Manhunter was okay, Hell Followed With Us was okay, good body horror. The Last Broadcast by Kel Byron I really enjoyed, hoping to pick up the second one, but it's not on my Libby app yet. Ummm what else. Legends and Lattes, and the prequel, Bookshelves and Bonedust. The City We Became and the World We Make by N K Jemisin were really good!!! I really really enjoyed This World Is Not Yours, I read it in a single day (only* 177 pages lol)

That's all I can think of right now. I should also note that I recently kind of busted my bookcase by trying to fit too many books on a single shelf, so it bowed outward a bit. Had to take everything off and try to squish it back together lol I'm constantly begging my husband for another bookcase and I thiiiiiiiink it's going to be in stock this week.

For cheesecake, it helps to have everything room temp, if you didn't. Blends better. And um... use a pan of water in your oven, even if you can't keep the cake in the water. And uhhh let it cool in the oven with the door cracked. Those are my tips lol

I have an unhealthy love for aquariums. Hammerheads are my favorite and they’re just so beautiful to watch. The squid penny is so sweet. I would definitely recommend the Georgia Aquarium and Mandalay Bay in Vegas. That one is also fantastic. We go every year to the Vegas one after the WWWY festival.

I just started learning so we are just playing the bloom burrow structure decks until I get good enough that we can make new decks.

The leg itself is fine just broken lol. I’m excited to see if I graduate to the walking boot this week.
