It's happened~ Vesnali has started, lots of good generic items. The cross stitch? The ducklings and lambs? Background filters and fireflies? I do kind of wish the botanical drawing books were wearable, but I suppose that's too much to hope for lol

oooooooo school sure is schooling. I considered dropping my Oceanography class because it's my lowest grade at 79% lol My husband talked me out of it. FORTUNATELY!!! Stats2 has hella built in extra credit, so I'm doing that. And technical writing wants me to make a website out of my resume. Which I hate. A Lot. So my husband offered to do it for me lololol

But none of that matters because I AM SEEING BEYONCÉ ON SUNDAY. Husband gave in and agreed to let me get tickets to go to Chicago. Thank goodness for credit cards am I right lolol

Turns out, by the way, I'm totally dominating stats. I got 9/8 on a comprehension check, and it felt really really good. I haven't shut up about it since the grade came in lol

We got back from Chicago and Beyoncé today. It was so fun. Husband had a good time. I had a blast. They took good photos so I could just be there (and also not drop my phone) I didn't get to see the amazing black jumpsuit with flag bellbottoms but that's okay she flew her fucking horse shoe and car towards us. The stadium was open, too, which I am a big big fan of too. A squid needs a breeze, okay.

I love a week off for you! And seeing a couple of shows, I hope you have fun! I don't know if I'd be appreciated at the ballet, I am very reactive and I gasp and flail when people do cool things lol

I can't remember if you've told me about your garden before. Fruits/veg/herb or flowers? We just went to a little pop up plant sale and they had cute little "salsa pots" where it was like peppers, tomatoes, and cilantro planted in a pot together, for an easy mini garden.

Ahhh that sounds fun! Murder ballet!! I hope you have a great time. My husband and I went to a punk burlesque show before we got married. We went with my brother lol More recently we went to a Star Wars themed burlesque show, called the Empire Strips Back. It was so fucking fun. Great music, sexy men and women. We got a magazine called Wookierotica, which is truly a work of art.

Lavender is so pretty tho. You could just fill your garden with lavender and it would be amazing. I've had bulbs I've been meaning to plant for ... way too long. I can only hope they're still good lol

Thank you! C: Cabaret still outstanding though went to the ballet. It was like contemporary mixed with ballet dancing and accessible re: shorter length. Was great to see the dancers dance live and up close. Great acting as well.

We have huge giant fat bumbles around our back porch. So cute. I found one inside on the floor one time, I was able to bring it back outside and give it some water. Unsure if it actually helped or not. I'd love to get like a little bee hotel or something for them.

Or a bat hotel. I want a bat hotel so bad, but we don't actually have any trees or anything near by, so idk if it's feasible. At least I'm going to try to get one for the family cottage up north, I love laying out and seeing them swoop while I'm star gazing up there

How's your holiday going?

Hooooo boy, even part time university feels like full time if you're undiagnosed adhd! I don't want to say stats2 is kicking my ass, because it is my best grade (Ironically, oceanography is my 3rd/lowest grade lol) but dang I wish I were just a little bit smarter.

How has your weekend been, now that we're wrapping up?

It's my (real life!) anniversary next weekend~ 12 years with my Canadian. Beyoncé was their present to me, so we'll be keeping it very low key this weekend. Our city "heritage days" are next weekend, so we might walk down there, if our social anxiety isn't too high lol But also he wants to play Dune, so we'll mostly be homebodies

Well, a bit past the holiday now, but our weather last weekend was pretty grey, but this weekend was really lovely. We went to an artist fair at a nerd shop. A friend sells their board games, old minis and really cool 3d prints.
