I went to see an opera (well .. operetta so more like musical theatre meets a little of opera)! I don't usually have stuff on as often as I have lately, but I wanted to catch a show while the weather has been better. C: Also got pastel watercolour paints, am excited to test them out. :D

Dune is a new computer game. It's a mmorpg I believe. I'll post up on the couch in the computer room and play subnautica on my steamdeck while he plays that. Or sit out in the sun.

I got a new tool to help dig up weeds in my yard. I'm absolutely cursed with prickly weeds. Speaking of the yard! What about sunflowers for yours? They must be easy to grow because literally they bloom from the birdseed that falls from my feeder.

Love musicals but never really given opera the chance tbh. Best I got is that Beyoncé sings a bit of opera on one of the tracks of Cowboy Carter lol if you want to listen I'm pretty sure it's in Alligator Tears but I'm not great with track names generally lol

Ty, ty, I got a watercolor workbook to work through. It's been going slowly, still on basic washes. I'll share once I finish something substantial haha although it's just copying what the artist is explaining to work through. My doodles otherwise aren't worth sharing.

I hear you on procrastination, that's what I did for schoolwork and work at times. I try not to do it as much because the dread of rushing to meet deadline sucks so much.

I have mint in my yard, and sometimes I think it attracts flies. Frustrating. Earlier in the season we also had some kind of giant flying insect ramming in to the windows. Only came out at night so I couldn't see what they were, but drove my cat crazy, he wanted to catch them.
