75+ Trillion according to Subetalodge anyway. I'm assuming it's not entirely perfect, but close enough.

EDIT as of 5/1 - Interestingly, it looks like Subetalodge's calculations have changed? I wanted to see how much I had left, and the numbers I was getting didn't make sense, considering it was starting with 75 trillion. With the new calcs, the full amount of items is now down to ~83 billion, and I've got ~42 billion left to go. I mean....I definitely could have been the one to make the initial calculation error, but then it would have been around 75 billion, but obviously it's more than that? So, the way I see it, either the economy has definitely changed with a lot of prices reducing, my donating has led to significant price drops, or subetalodge calculations are funky and unpredictable. XD I'll be checking this every once in a while for my own amusement, I wonder how much it will fluctuate again!

Subeta was created in 2004, not sure of the exact day. I joined Subeta on January 4th, 2007. The site was under three years old and I was a teenager and ready for some fun. I named myself 'lurk' with the expectation of how I'd behaved on previous sites - I would barely comment, wouldn't use the avatar system, and basically just lurk on the site. ..with over 11 thousand posts, I certainly failed at that task. As for the avatar system? Well, when I was last heavily active on the site, April 1, 2016 - I was 180 items away from having every single wearable on the site. Sadly, this would be around when my nearly ten year interest in the site began to fade, and even the goal of having a complete wardrobe couldn't keep me invested. Sometime between 2016 and 2017, I basically faded away. I still refreshed the site about once a day, doing bathhouse pool when that started. The next six years, I barely participated, but I still hung on. Then about two or three months ago, I had a computer crash and the tab for Subeta that I kept open in my browser closed. I didn't open it again for a month, and honestly? I didn't miss it. So now, 16 years almost to the dot, it's time for me to move on.

I've handed some big ticket items to friends, I've traded two of my best trained pets, I've sent sP to those who I have been friends with over the years. Sadly, some friends have long since left the site, a few who I have been unable to keep in contact with even externally. But I still hold dearly to the memories that I have of our friendships and times here.

SO. Here is how I plan to do this.

I have taken every item except for what I'm wearing out of my wardrobe (and that took SO LONG OMG), and every minion out of my minion zoo, and stuck them into my vault which already had a crap ton of random items in there. This leaves me with 170 pages in my vault. Over the next half a year or so, I will drop a page of the vault into the Donation Center for a free-for-all giveaway. Cheap items will be mixed with expensive items will be mixed with rare unbuyables. I'm going to attempt to vary the times of day so that it's not the same people online each time. (If you're looking for recent items or Custom Wearables, you're not going to find them here. 97% of the items are from 2016 or earlier, and I don't have any CWs)

Along with each drop of items, I'll ping the group to this thread, and likely end up typing some memory about the site, some items in the drop that I really like, who knows. (I also might show off some of my old ugly HAs, because I just found that I didn't lose them after all! ...well, I lose some XD)

For the most part, the items will be given away in alphabetical order, just because that's how the vault is ordered by default. I may vary it up slightly when dealing with lots of high priced items (I've got like, almost four pages of Delish sets - so maybe if I have the energy I'd break it into half Delish and half something from later). I will also sporadically drop in a 100 CSC, thank you bathhouse! Currently have 26 of these, we'll see if it reaches more by the time I finish. Additionally, I'm only going to drop items in 1) no more frequently than once a day and 2) when the Donation Center is empty. I don't know if it's been done anytime recently, but I strongly remember staff just straight up deleting a ton of stuff from the DC because it was slowing down the site. Hence why I'm doing this in batches, rather than just dropping all 34,000 unique items (I know I've got duplicates of many, so more than that!) all at once.

What I ask is that for those who view this thread, leave a comment after the ping, so that I'll have the ability to continue pinging in this thread. If I recall correctly (from over 6 years ago), editing or adding to a comment doesn't let you ping a group. Feel free to share a memory of your own, new or old from the site. If you got an item that you really like, talk about what you'll do with it. Let me have one last gasp of the social aspect of this site before I fully leave it behind.

Please, let people know about the ping group. Tell your friends, tell new users, tell people who may appreciate the items. Ideally, I'd love for the items to get spread around to a bunch of users who will use and appreciate them - whether that be through wearing, battling, selling, fragging, gifting, etc.

Today's items: starting off with and ending with ! My thoughts: really meant a lot to me at the time. So many non-religious sites still have Christmas everywhere, so the fact that Subeta deliberately included other religions was so appreciated. still makes me giggle. I have no clue why it's expensive, but it's delightful. (...is a few mil even considered expensive anymore? I don't know!) and are two wearables that I ADORE that sadly I don't think I ever used. But they're gorgeous! Wanna see my first HA? But the outfit I really wanted to do was only because a kind user gifted this newbie the stockings she wanted In the early HA times, here's the first that is not super terrible (I loved those old tails! I remember being so upset when they got revamped, so many years ago)

I only discovered the site in 2020, and can't say that we ever crossed paths in any significant way. My memories are only recent ones, but I've been having a blast collecting pets and gradually and intermittently building their profiles and treasures. Item thoughts: is so gorgeous, this is something I can see myself getting in real life. (and then leaving on a shelf to collect dust because cleaning is hARD) shout out to the artist who released about ten thousand colors of these basic flats. I don't know how it's been for the past six years, but for the majority of time that I was active, shoes were about the hardest thing for HAs. These getting released were FANTASTIC and gave so so many color options to match with so many outfits. I spent so much on getting all the legendaries and all their combinations. Balrog to this day still remains my favorite! And I must have hurt every battler's soul by shoving them all into my wardrobe instead of actually battling with them.
