This batch includes some items that I loved and used and wished I could use more:

....uh, it ALSO includes which I guess I'm going to have to drop in batches, or even delete a bunch. I have 8,687 of them!! This must have been a refresh item, a-la the free beer or shovels, and I hoarded them hoping for the recycle beast to ask for them. I CANNOT just drop all of these in the donation center! I guess I'll do 50 at a time?? ...I wonder how many other things i have more than 100 of. oh dear.

I 100% would have used on my current HA if it didn't have the shading.

In terms of the memories, I remember when the site first started testing custom pet images. I do actually have one! I forget if I had to pay for it to test or if I got it for free because it was testing....I feel like I had to pay something for it? I don't even know if a change like this would have been allowed for the final product, but it was approved during the beta, and it makes me very very happy.

Thank you so much for doing this! I managed to be online today when you dumped things and so far have grabbed (which I love!) along with and . All the autumn items make me happy since it's my favorite season :) I am SO enjoying all your old HAs! And yay for a nostalgic legeica! I was so glad to find my Wandy baby in the adoption center and give her a new home because I love horses and wanted one when the nostalgic pet option first came out. I had an idea for her story, but like all my other pet story idea, it has yet to be written. Hopefully one day.

Biggest memory is my first pet spotlight win. I felt SO inadequate because I couldn't code fancy profiles like other users.....so winning with a rather basic pet page made me feel vindicated.

I also enjoyed the plots I participated in. Hopefully someday we can have them again!!!

STILL makes me happy to this day, I used this in so many of my early HAs. the early costume trunks! This is before they WERE trunks! Instead just a single item that gave you a male and female full body costume. It was a while later that they decided to actually make them into trunks that split into many items. In truth, I do think it was for the best, but I do miss the fun gimicky costumes that we got with the originals. still my favorite legendary, by far.

I saw some requests for more old HAs, so how about one that uses the and inspired the art in my signature? I don't know why I liked this HA so much, but I did. Somehow, it became a way that I viewed my virtual appearance for Subeta. That changed much later on, but it stuck with me for so long.

Sadly, I have discovered that I stopped saving HAs in early 2015, which means that any created in 2015, 2016, and 2017 are lost. Kicking myself a bit, because I was much better at making actually good looking HAs by then, but I guess also that's why I stopped saving the images?

I remember seeing an offsite drama thread about me for making terrible HAs within the first few years of being on the site, and then later on, getting invited to two separate invite-only forum groups for allegedly the best HA makers on the site. I won't talk about the impact of either at the time, but in hindsight, it's surprising that both are equally distant for me. Any hurt and praise that I felt are now just background blurs for 'I was online at the time and cared too much about what people online thought'. For anyone who is young, let me be honest. Fifteen years from now? You likely won't remember something unless you're actively trying to remind yourself (in my case, going through my wardrobe clearing items reminded me of SO many things), and you'll be surprised how much it doesn't bother you any more, for better or for worse. Granted, not everything will feel that way, some things you'll still hold on to, but it's astonishing how many things you THOUGHT you'd hold on to that you've just let go.

I love hearing about the memories. It's so silly and mean-spirited to pick on people because you don't like their style. I think your old HAs are cool - there wasn't much to work with, but you rocked it.
