Did anyone notice how Style File is going to die soon? Or am I too negative about it? ;_; I've been playing for a year and a half only, and I remember the site being way more active than now. (Even though I know that years ago it was a lot more active!!) Now a few people upload, and it looks like even fewer people vote. If anyone else is noticing this, is there anything that we can do to revive it? What did it change since last April/May? Last year, during August, it was more crowded, so it's not because of summer breaks and/or vacations. Moreover... Am I the only one who cares about it? I loved making new avatars to upload them and receiving feedbacks. I'm now less inclined to change my HA, and dress my doll up has always been my best hobby on here. Seeing SF like this is disheartening to me. 😢

I think it was down for a long time/broken and people stopped using it as much - I know I didn't even bother because for a time there was a lot of issues with the site. :(

I definitely agree and wish that more changes were implemented. It used to be such a healthy and enjoyable platform for people to display their talents. Lately, I've noticed people are less inclined to upload and adore ( this includes me). There is a lot less traffic. I miss the events and other activities and would be happy to donate and participate if people organized it.

It has never gone down again after last March. People (me included) were able to donate in order to keep the site online every month. C:

A lot of the reason i'm not around is because i've just been too busy over the past few years. Honestly, I probably need to be taken off of SF staff because of that. I don't know how many of the staff members are super active anymore, but I definitely think SF needs dedicated, self motivated staff members who are willing to run events/challenges/etc. like in the past that would help to revive the site. A big event posted here on Subeta that attracts new and returning members to Style File would probably go a long way.

I also lost a lot of interest in avatars altogether, which definitely contributed to my lack of posting avatars in general.

Haha thanks for the ping ! I'm actually an admin on sf so I appreciate being alerted. I still love the site and hope we can continue to use it for many years to come, and I'm willing to invest time to see any changes through.

I agree that the stability is a big question mark and one that I understand can raise concerns. is probably better equipped to answer questions in this department. I know our site owner, , doesn't actively play Subeta, which has resulted in some of the downtime this year. But we've had a good few months and hope we can continue down this path.

I think there's a wider change across Subeta, though, with a shift away from fashion cults and cliques who see less activity, too. But I definitely think we could do more and would love to see fresh faces on the site. So I'm open to ideas!

i do think sf has been more inactive than usual lately D: i don't know if it's because there are certain times/events on sub that make sf more inactive? like usually during masq and stuff we have more people uploading but idk but right now it does seem kinda lifeless

YES, we got noticed by da admin team!! this is fantastic! well okay, I definitely think yeah it needs more stability and a team that works together to plan new events and things! chic exlcusive cws used to be an amazing way to advertise as well as the many creative contests/events ( CAMP CHIC omg )
