I want to complain about those shops, the plot was at 2009, it's like 5 years more or less. And right now I'm not sure that there are even 10 users who still have the points to buy the items in the shops. So those items will be lost forever sooner or later, especially collections items (plushies, beanbags, books) so it's time to bring them back, to do something about it, if I think about a new user that want to finish a collection, no matter how many billions of sp this user will make, it will be impossible to her/him to buy those items.

So, I think it's time to make a redeem card, once or twice a year, with X amount of points, it can be purchased at the Cash Shop/Cristal Shop/Token Shop, or any other method. it can also exclude the weapons (not to hurt the battlers :P) so at least the other items will be available again on the site, and the weapons will still remain rare valuable.

I think they stuff should be released somehow but I do not agree that it should exclude the weapons. Except for maybe one or two most of them aren't worth it to use in battle anyway and are only so expensive because they are rare. It's not fair to release only a small handful of items from the shop and not others.

During the Cruise mini-plot that happened a few summers ago they released some of the weapons again for very high amounts and I believe limited quantities as well. I thought that was a great idea and would love to see something similar again. Maybe have a flash sale and stick them in the MC for a few days for 30mil+ a piece. That way they still retain their rareness and only a limited amount of them can go out because of the 12hr wait time.

What is "INSANE but manageable" because at this rate, I need to sort out if collections are even worth it xD

I don't think the godlies should be included regardless, unless they were the astronomical price it'd cost to buy one from another user (2-3b? Probably closer to the latter guess that'd be one way to suck a great deal of sP out of the system though ahaa).

I'm fearful of what "insane but manageable" might be, but it can't be much worse than the 5k csc I paid for so, I'm curious as to if this'll happen or not!

I'm up for this but I see lots of potential issues arising if the godlies are put in, so maybe leave those couple things out.

"Insane but manageable" is scary, but I have to agree the prices must be fair to these people who earned the plot points n_n Otherwise I'm 110% in favor of this idea dat white hibiscus / all of them really!

idk, im kind of on the fence on this. On one hand, you guys said no more old godlies. fair enough.

But on the other.. there's a few godlies just sitting inactive. At 2.5bil+, its not like everyone and their mom will go and get one WoK and one SoSS. maybe limit one per person then.

and at X bil, some wont find the price worth it. i mean, 2bil is ~10k str or def, 4-5k health stats. And 4-5k more health will be so much more useful than a SoSS or WoK

I've never really understood and always disagreed with the "no more godlies" stance. I understand keeping them limited enough that they're not being given out for free to everyone on the site, but other than that, why should they, of all items, be immune from getting re-released? The excuse that people have paid a lot for them in the past and it wouldn't be fair if they were re-released could really be said about any kind of item. But it isn't. People are rightly told that nothing stays retired forever and they should keep that in mind whenever they make a big purchase.

That said, (two of) the easiest godly blocks on the site to get are already fire and water, so Wrath and SoSS would be the last old godlies on my shopping list. And if we're gonna be re-releasing old fire goldies I'd much rather get a K-Wand anyway. ;)

As someone who doesn't really care about weapons, I'm kinda scared of "INSANE but manageable" re: wears and collection items :D Can't wait to see how it goes!

So how are godlies any different than someone who pays a ridiculous amount for a plushie to complete their collection, only to discover months later that same plushie gets released into the crystal shop for far less than what they paid? At least with weapons, you can always hold onto and re-sell in the future.

But a plushie collection...well, it's a one-way shot.

Honestly, perhaps another solution to consider is, well, another Omens Island plot. Same with the Saherimos plot back '11. Participate like crazy, and get the amount of plot points you need to buy that godly from the prize shop or those books or whatever it is you're striving for.

I hope there's a possibility of another event that gives the opportunity to buy those items. I've only seen some of the stuff from the Hustler, and he's not really reliable for people wanting to buy some specific items to finish their collections. Some of the grass ankles are killing people over and over again in item hunt.

About the weapons, oh boy let's not get too sidetracked about them. Otherwise, you might as well have a billionaire center that sells them. I really cringe at that idea, because it's going to generate quite a bit of firestorm from people who wish to keep them rare and special instead of just an top tier weapon everyone can buy.

Insane but manageable worries me. How many bil does it cost already to complete collections?

I would still prefer a new omen island plot, pirates and islanders (or either of them) give plenty of material for another plot line. Would be far more interesting than yet another year of twirling around in Ziara with the same characters.

I'm just bitter about the pirate shop because, at one point, we were told we had to spend our points or lose them. So I did, but then it never happened.

Also, if anyone wants to pay 5k for Dirty Mattys Drinking Games, please let me know. :P

Frankly I'd love this, if only because I'm always hoping for some event or plot to hit the site and make me be active.

Gods are precious snowflakes because they're dramatic game changers-- a fact that's more pressing and relevant now than it's ever been. People can't just train on nor can they rely on demi-gods, they literally need the gods now (or a ton of AP and fullblocking scrolls).

Selling them for anything less than an astronomical amount undermines the hard work people did in the past, and putting more into the system basically just makes things worse (more overpowered required weapons etc) when we really need them nerfed, more alternative options and the cap moved. Otherwise in a year or two were going to have hundreds of capped pets, and 20 copies of required godlies and a BC that's even more doomed than it was years ago.

And to these two gods in question being blockers of icons already blocked for less: downward spiral. Once one is released, boards will be made left and right for the rest of them. Then subeta will have 300 capped pets with 300 gods and everything can beat every challenger because with a cap things can only be so strong. Then we'll be where we are now minus billions of sP for gods, or worse! Super-Gods :'D!

So no, please don't start the pattern of re-releasing gods. Instead please focus on multi-icon high-healers/challengers who deal a lot of a lot/raising the cap so pets can hit harder with other weapons r____r

But yes to every other item/weapon being re-released. I wish deeply for this (throwback week yes?!)

No to another Island plot. The one we had actually had a great conclusion.

But I wouldn't mind another Saheric plot. Maybe we could either have a good pastel recolor or that one golem color people are asking for in suggestions ;)

I would much rather see the items released via a plot than for "INSANE but manageable" whatever that means. Like tossing the old New Years item into the NY shop for much more tokens than than the new items.

Various items from the Islander shop were released via Cash Shop Hustler already. Therefore the site can accept this kind of release.

Various weapons from the both shops were released via Councilors Cruise. I accidentally bought an extra of one of these and it's not selling at my price, so the demand for those weapons isn't that high. This is not so much a function of them being released though, it's because the Tier system prevents many of them from being used by any but the most advanced pets on site. Most of old guard wanted the tier system to protect their monopoly. (mind you I'm saying this with two tier12 and eight tier11 pets-I was anti-tier and still am) Now because of this proposal it may result in their Account Worth being less? Cry me a river. They got the use of those items for years and the fun of using those items for years.

qft. what's the point of re-releasing all the collection stuff if you're just gonna make people pay out the ass for them? A great majority of these items will disappear into collections, be read to pets, etc. 'oh but they're meant to be rare!' yeah, okay, but there's a difference between rare and impossible to procure? these items haven't been in circulation since the plot ended. That covers the INSANE part well enough for my liking, without slapping a 4bil pricetag on shit. [sup](I'm not even talking weapons here that's a whole other kettle of fish)[/sup]
