Ahaha why hello there, that's why your sig looks so familar. I am currently rampaging through season two on Netflix because I want to try and catch up (which explains why no Subeta, haha). I didn't get into it at first because of awkward time slot vs. life, and because while he's soooo pretty he's suuuuuch a bad actor and so I passed on it for a while.

But I'm finding season two is far more enjoyable to me than season one, so I think I'll keep going like that.

WORKING ON IT. Trufax when Barry came on Arrow for that one ep I was all awww, cuteadorkalicious, want more! Need to see the Flash premiere too, while I'm at it. Well, okay, yeah, Ollie does emo stares pretty well, and grimface, but his speaking lines are paced really strangely and I don't think they sound all that natural. He has odd pauses where he shouldn't as if he's trying to remember his lines and just lol. shrug

Who I really watch the show for? Dig and Felicity. nod Love those two. Laurel I could take or leave, she's kind of annoying actually, and Thea's also annoying. Roy is inexplicably one of my favorites, maybe because he's got an actual extended character development arc going on.

Also, still enjoy seeing Captain Jack Harkness anywhere and anytime. xD

He is just too emo for you to understand. GOSH. ;) I didn't notice all that much, because I probably get lost staring at his 5 o'clock shadow and sad eyes lol.

The Flash premiere was fun. c: Which is why emo Ollie couldn't make the cameo, it had to be happier Ollie, which made no sense given Barry makes a cameo in season 3 premiere's asking Ollie to meet him. No sense at all. I feel bad for the people that will be like okay Arrow, haven't seen that show, I think I'll watch it.... omg it's so daaaark who is this archer boy who frowns all the time? D8 Misleading.

I cannot stand Laurel. You say Amell can't act? The woman who plays Laurel cannot act. She's so wooden and weird. Cannot cope with her lines or her facial expressions. ;s I have much Laurel rage. Maybe it would help if her actual lines were better, but they're not.

/nods Thea's annoying. Felicity's the best. c: It's a good thing the show has likeable people to make up for the annoying ones haha.

Tommy's dad. Also played Captain Jack Harkness on Torchwood/Dr. Who. Eminently entertaining individual. So fun seeing him be the bad guy. I'd watch him act his way out of a paper bag and enjoy myself.

Ugh no, not a fan of Ollie/Laurel. Also zero chemistry, in my opinion. I think they make better friends. Honestly if she weren't such a nutball I'd be Ollie/Huntress, but...well, yeah. Probably at this point I'm mostly Ollie/Felicity but I don't know what I'd do if that actually happened, I'd probably hate it. For all that he's got a Scooby Gang, Ollie does well on his own. I don't really know what he'd do with a relationship. Because aren't all emo heroes BROKENNNN ON THE INSIDE? /hi batman

Soooo much charisma. Every time he comes on screen I think HI CAPTAIN JACK and it's kind of bewildering but fun, because I recognize him so automatically from that previous role I kind of can't separate the two. It makes for some fun mental landscapes, lemme tell you.

Also, probably too spoilery but Ollie's buttkicking superhero buddy who shows up in season two annoys me as well, although I think it's mostly their face. When butt is being kicked, I'm a huge fan, but anything that involves actual interaction between people....meh. Or maybe it's that I'm a big non-fan of the flashbacks involving this person.

Ahahaha, YES. I totally agree. Laurel and Ollie are also boring together. Very unappealing. Idk if you got to it yet but Black Canary appearing...? Yes, much more chemistry between the two there. c; (is that who you are referring to in your sneaky sneaky ways? ;O)

Ditto, Ollicity (or is it only one l? I do not know because I am not a serious shipper of them) is loads better! The thing is all I'm seeing is Felicity pining for Ollie. She's made that clear fairly early on in season one and she doesn't do a very good job at hiding it from him either, so Ollie knows, but at least he doesn't bait her with anything more, right? I know in season two the writers are trying to show them as something more with the stares or the arm grabs or something, but Ollie appears so aloof that it comes across so friendly that it's hard for me to picture him having any feelings for her. D8

Hell, he'd probably make a perfect Arrow if he wasn't so old. 8D I'm glad they didn't kill him off in season one.

That is who I was trying to be sneaky about, yes! BC feels a little bit like a retcon of some of the island adventures, and I'm a little miffed about that (because what happened on that island in my mind is far more dramatic and OMG than what we're seeing actually happening, sigh) and maybe I wish she was Laurel (as it apparently is in the comic book because it would give Laurel something to do besides be boring).

I'm actually not a fan of the pining!Felicity because I think she's awesome as a snarky friend and deserves better than some jerk who won't be there fully emotionally for her. And haha, also lack of chemistry. Does Ollie spark with anyone? It feels like he's just going through the motions all the time. (DO I USE MY HALF SMILE FACE OR MY SERIOUS EMO FACE?) I was pretty pro Felicity/Barry for the three seconds that happened, but oh well. I think I'm just in Felicity's camp. And Dig. Love Dig so much, holy cow he's great.

I marathon it while I'm doing other things like catching up on daily Nintendo DS games, etc. I like it better than Agents of Shield and less well than Sleepy Hollow (which requires ALL the attention) but it's fun, yeah. And the folks in it are oh so pretty.

What? Season 3? I think I'm only half-way through Season 2, as this is the season that's airing since last month in my country (Germany). I'm doing archery myself, so I've been watching Arrow ever since it got announced :)

I would say it's like ... Smallville minus high school drama and trying to be more gritty / noir. If you haven't seen/heard of Smallville, then I guess it's a good action drama? It's not anything legendary though. It's more action than sci-fi really, because Arrow's not running around with magical abilities. c: You should binge watch a few season one episodes and see how you like it. :3

Okay, I'm glad you see it that way too, because I was scared I was missing some wickedly amazing chemistry between Ollie and Felicity lol. I don't think Ollie is emotionally available at all, so the idea of him with anyone (seriously) is very weird for me.

Actually, I'd say it differs. The stunts they pulled off with a bow and arrow on that island (as far as I've seen it by now) seemed realistic enough to me. The first season in Starling City, where Oliver uses a Recurve bow and (at the end of the first season) a Longbow was less realistic to me. And now, in the second season where Oliver uses a Compound bow, there's not much reality left. A Compound bow's piercing force is higher than a Recurve bow's. The Compound bow's draw weight generally falls between 10 and 100 pounds enabling arrow speeds of 150 to 370 feet per second. And due to the Compound bow's construction, the draw weight gets reduced for the one using it. This "let-off" commonly ranges between 65% and 80% of the peak weight for recently designed Compound bows, although some older Compound bows provided a let-off of only 50% and some of the most recent designs achieve let offs in excess of 90%. In short, the piercing force of the Compound bow should be a lot higher than shown... an arrow shot at some bad guy at short range how Oliver's done it, should have gone straight through and not get stuck in the bad guy's arm...
