When they did Felicity's past, I didn't notice it was about her at first. I just wondered who those students were supposed to be xD
As for Sara, I've got quite a list of suspects by now:
Merlyn: He vowed that he didn't do it, but I don't really trust him. He's stalking Thea and always looks as if he wants to kill Ollie...
The Assassins' League: Ollie: "They won't shoot their own folks." Me: "Are you sure about that, Ollie?"
Roy: Yeah I know that Oliver got him to remember that he killed a police officer while he was under the influence of that Mirakuro (or whatever it's spelled) drug-thing. And that the way Sara got killed made him remember that in his nightmares... but as Felicity said no one knows exactly how this Mirakuro's working and all post-effects and the like.
All I can say is that Sara knew the person who shot her... :/
Main issue: Turning a lesbian/bi character into a token, given as a love interest for main character.

Yeah, Felicity looks so different with black hair. xD I can't believe she pulled a 180 and is dolled up in practically each episode. I mean... do you really need to re-invent yourself that drastically? Wait until you see her with natural makeup on. It does finally happen! No garish red or mauve lipstick! (While they are nice shades, I don't think it suits her one bit. ;s)
Well, you got that right... Sara knew her killer. They did that on purpose and at least didn't flake out of that one. All I can say is you got a nice list of suspects, all of whom I suspected as well at the time. ;3 Who knows... maybe one of them is the killer. /attempts to not spoil anything

It's much more than that. Arrow reached a level of Teen Wolf I hadn't seen before. While I dealt wht Sara's death, it still left a bile taste in my mouth. I believe that Sara's storyline was going well until they butchered it - literally.
I am ashamed by the fact that the writers had to kill a female character to give purpose to another one that had been cast away. I am utterly sorry, but Laurel could have kicked ass as the district attorney only. She could scheme in the background, just like Felicity does. It is unrealistic to put her in battle? She couldn't defend herself against a simple street villain but she can take down assassin? Pls, let's be real.
The Ray-Felicity bandwagon was killed off quickly. What was the purpose? Nothing but 2 mens defending their territory on a girl very capable on her own. I feel like she's a damn puppet. It's also OCC as fuck to drown Thea in the Lazarus Pit and to see her go all kung-fu ninja and .. so calm after. Another butchering, literally.
Can we talk about HOW ROY HARPER WAS FUCKING WRITTEN OFF? CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW OLIVER PROMISED ROY HE'D NEVER GIVE UP ON HIM? Yet, here we are. Arsenal had purpose, fuck you writers.
Nyssa. God I wish she would join team Arrow and buddy out with Laurel (maybe a couple, who the fuck knows). A forced marriage, how cliché and disgusting to play off. It's funny, but I've seen it coming from miles. Just kill the damn dude and take control gurl.
Also Oliver? More like Oliver x Brooding. His life is simply based on a sob sob story. I don't even want to hear about the sob sob anymore, tbqh.

Sara's death felt and still feels like a gimmick. ;s
I would have loved to see Sara train Laurel. Gradually. Laurel should have no place in crime fighting this season. Period. She's too inexperienced.
Felicity IS a puppet. She's just needed for the love triangle / love driven angst ploy. Because really... Diggle's wife could likely operate the super computer / technology they have in their lair.
Would it have killed to show some subtle way of Thea changing? Shooting at Ollie doesn't count. I feel like Merlyn's speech to Ollie was a waste of airtime.
Nyssa x Laurel would have been interesting and amazing.

Felicity is too whiny, she finally got passed off to Olly, 'cause Olly sleeps with every female in the show apparently.
Nyssa is basically Talia. Nyssa never grew up with Ra's, she searched for him later in her life - in the comics. This wedding thing is like a punch to the throat.

Ra's - this show is messing around with one of my favorite villains. I'm going to rewatch Batman the animated series and listen to David Warner's voice to go heal...

Right? What was all that DON'T DO IT OLLIE SHE'S GONNA BE CRAZYYYY about from Merlyn? I guess the writers can't do one thing well: subtlety. If they could, they'd give us small little shots of Thea looking strangely or acting strangely. They'd have to know her character to write her OOC and ... they clearly don't know her too well for that to happen. ;s fffs
I can't stand Laurel as well, but somehow this season, I can't stand Felicity even MORE than Laurel. Idk how THAT happened. Oh wait, I do, character assassination and all.
I can't feel any chemistry between Felicity and Ollie. ;x I get that SHE was pining for him from practically the get-go in season one. But him? I never, EVER bought it from him, especially the whole speech about seeing her for the first time in the office and falling for her. Call me stupid, but I think we would have been able to catch that on his face. |D And he was basically stone cold Ollie in season one.
Merlyn is never there when you need him, always there when you DON'T ahahaha. Silly Merlyn.

To add to our list of complaints, what about those Hong Kong flashbacks? Snoozefest. /yawn It was really obvious the couple's kid died / was killed. They even let the cat out of the bag and somehow it's supposed to still be suspenseful when we see blood fall down his nose? Meh.

Alright, well it was a good episode. I like their teamwork, but I'm still "meh" about Oliver and Diggle being broken in their friendship (it was important to me ..). I'm glad Olicity and canon, but what will happen with the show since the main is leaving? (is he?) I think that Rah's went down waaay too easily, but I guess the writers had enough of dragging his story. I am utterly grossed out by Malcolm being the Demon's head; what was the deal, anyway?
I'm glad the ladies are getting some well deserved love though (must I say, finally). BUT, I hate how they made Nessa kneel before a piece of shit like Malcolm, what even.

I hated it lol. I thought it was extremely boring. Couldn't stop yawning throughout it. The dialogue was lame as fuck. And it didn't feel like a finale. AT ALL.
I also hated the way Diggle treated Ollie and how they're magically broken and how Ollie and Felicity are suddenly magically un-broken (plus that godawful cheesy ending, I was waiting for an actual cliffhanger but nothing happened gdi). Main writer you mean? Well, I certainly didn't like the writing this season so they can leave any time they want lol. Ras was such an idiot. When he went down and still had energy for the ring I was like hahahahha you're so pathetic, Ras.
Idk how the league went from Ollie to Malcolm worshipping so fast, especially with Nyssa RIGHT THERE, but okay. I guess one ring to rule them and all. |D /shot
