What We Expect of Our Members

We hope our members will be active and participate within the group (and we have several ways to participate: KS forums, Discord chat and this thread!) when they are active on the site. If you cannot be active on the site due to whatever reason just let us know, that way we don't think you've forgotten us! And that is it! (Aside from following all Subeta and Group Rules 😉 ) We are what our members make us, and we have something for everyone (if we don't we'll make it if our members ask for it!).

Our much beloved friend and co-owner Innerflame passed away on August 1, 2013. We would not be a group at all without all of the dedication she put into building our community. She was a kind and beautiful soul and we will miss her greatly ❤

If you wish to speak to any of us, feel free to ping us here, or use our Staff Ping group and whoever is online at the time will be happy to answer any questions you have. Also, all of our members may take up leadership roles as needed to help run games or give their input into what we do. We're a democracy (mostly) not a dictatorship 😉 If we sound like the group for you please fill out this brief questionnaire (please remember to copy the ping group for our staff!) and hang around here for a little bit and chat with our current members 😄 As soon as a member of staff gets online we can send you an invite to the group!

Kindred Spirits is always accepting age 18+ players who are already involved in other groups - specific focus or general/social. The main thing is that when you join KS you spend some time with us, because if you're going to join and spend no time getting to know us or playing/chatting with us, there is no point in being a member.

We were talking about your story, which continued on my comments. I hope everyone survived their food comas. I think I gained a good 10lbs from one meal. o.O 😂

Hello! I'm so glad you enjoyed your meal so much! We're visiting our families in our home town (lucky enough that everyone lives around the same area) so we had a big lunch AND a big dinner! I was very full. And then today we're doing a small, immediate family meal too. Thankfully I had enough mindfulness to manage my intake as I went so I wasn't uncomfortably full at any point.

I'm going to eat lunch again in a few minutes. Turkey sandwich sounds good... :) Love your HA. What is the layering and the boots?

When I was about to go to sleep I started to get hungry and then Brian started to get hungry for bagels. So this morning we went to the local coffee shop. I'm going to be so sad when one of this month's special drinks is gone. It is addictive. Creme Brule Breve. OMG <3

Hey Duckie i have not heard from you in a while, hope all is well with you and yours ?? Thanks giving was Oct 12th in Canada, but the food was so good we made a 12 pound turkey and had left overs for 3 days and nights lol. I love turkey and stuffing and oohhhh gravy, yummy. I gain 10 pounds from just talking about it. Take great care, talk soon.

- That stinks that the roads are less than ideal there. We've had a few days of crappy weather and bad road conditions so far. Just thankful it hasn't been more than that YET.

Oh hun the Road conditions are terrible here, people are nutty and crazy, so many nutty people think they can still drive on summer and all season tires in this mess, 4 inches on snow on the highways and they think this. crazy. We had a crazy 51 car pile up on the stevens hill just the other evening, nutty drivers and all this person did was cut off a trucker with a full load and everything slide and much much more. Thank the Goddess no one was seriously hurt, I think I heard 3 broken ribs and someone got a broken arm. nothing nasty.... But again driving in the winter is nothing but scary and nasty, well atleast for me.... I hate winter, even if it is part of our cycle...

I am halfway through my list of things I told myself to make as Christmas presents. 12 down 11 to go. This is why I do simpler things for Christmas.

Thanksgiving was nice. Had food and some family over. We do a walk between dinner and dessert.

- Yes, my number 1 goal on Thanksgiving is to stuff my face until I fall over and this time I actually succeeded! Thankfully, I had a soft landing and didn't get hurt. ;) (No, I didn't really fall over but would probably have if I hadn't been in my recliner.) :D

People are scary enough in normal weather. Brian drove a mutual friend across the state the day before Thanksgiving and he ran into serious traffic when coming back.

My in-laws don't take a walk between portions. We had some appetizers then a wait time. Then dinner. After that we rested. Then all of us decided we were too stuffed for dessert so we took homemade pumpkin pies back home.
