What We Expect of Our Members

We hope our members will be active and participate within the group (and we have several ways to participate: KS forums, Discord chat and this thread!) when they are active on the site. If you cannot be active on the site due to whatever reason just let us know, that way we don't think you've forgotten us! And that is it! (Aside from following all Subeta and Group Rules 😉 ) We are what our members make us, and we have something for everyone (if we don't we'll make it if our members ask for it!).

Our much beloved friend and co-owner Innerflame passed away on August 1, 2013. We would not be a group at all without all of the dedication she put into building our community. She was a kind and beautiful soul and we will miss her greatly ❤

If you wish to speak to any of us, feel free to ping us here, or use our Staff Ping group and whoever is online at the time will be happy to answer any questions you have. Also, all of our members may take up leadership roles as needed to help run games or give their input into what we do. Kindred Spirits is always accepting age 18+ players who are already involved in other groups - specific focus or general/social. The main thing is that when you join KS you spend some time with us, because if you're going to join and spend no time getting to know us or playing/chatting with us, there is no point in being a member.

OH shiney new thread! We are a chatty bunch lol!

tired, hot, nose cold, hoping the heatwave will pass. lol i can complain but i am ok!

& lurkers! I won an escape room with others from my work company.. We did it yesterday, it was a battle of 2 teams in the courtroom. We where wrongfully accused lol Anyway my team won! With 3 minutes left, 1st time i escaped a escape room.

I have no clue what a panic room is but an escape room is multiple rooms you have to escape from due clues and do stuff.

Anyway still a heatwave here and the next 2 days will be stuffy. So glad i am off.

Heatwaves are the WORST, especially when you're sick. That's no fun at all! I'll keep my fingers crossed that it passes quickly and you get some respite!

The humidity almost makes it worse, hey? We've had rain here lately, too, and as it warms up it just feels suffocating. I can't wait for summer to be over. Bring on the winter, my body is ready! :D

- I just don't get why people continue to live in such hot places. I loved it when I lived in Minnesota. It rarely got over 79f at the hottest part of the summer and there was no humidity. Granted, we had to deal with tons of snow in the wonter but I was totally cool with that. and Chrysariel - yu should both make a swamp cooler. (large chunck of ice placed before a fan) and pamper yourselves. I don't know how you do it without air conditioning.

I've been hanging in there! Had a bit of a sleepless night last night but I can't complain. How are you??

I live here because I was born here and all my family live here. When I was younger I did consider moving somewhere else. If I ever won the lotto, my dream is to buy a new house here (because I can't stand to be too far or long away from my family) and another in Oregon or Washington. I would spend the summer and fall there and winter and spring in Texas. I love snow but I don't want it 10 feet deep and lasting for months. But if we could switch between the two, it would be nice all the time. :)

OMG Who said I lived without AC? Oh Hell no! My big central house unit finally went kaput and we just can't fix it anymore, but we have window units and they are wonderful. Swamp coolers do work but you have to add ice a lot.

I used CBD so I slept good last night/this morning.

It went out again earlier today and Brian had to buy another router >.<

I live in Florida and AC problems are the worst. Too hot and humid here to live without that luxury.

lol I know its part of the southern states, but it is the most northern one. It snows there in the winter tho doesn't it? I've never been there. But the Appalachian and Blue Ridge Mountains must be beautiful.

I don't think the place we rent from would replace it for us. Brian dealt with the place we rent from as well as the internet provider. But he would have mentioned if they would replace it.

We get both heat and cold here. I love temperature control living. My body stinks at its own heat regulation. And humidity is death.

yes it does. Well i like fall to as the temps are nice then. Same here with sleepess night.. to darn hot!

I don't mind fall but there are still bugs out in the fall and I am HELLA arachnophobic so it's not great lol. The leaves changing color and all of the wonderful flavors that come with fall are great, though!

Also, I love your HA! It's so cute!

- lol It depends on who yu ask. Some do say that Virginia is the most northern southern state because Maryland didn't leave the Union. Others say that Maryland is the most norther southern state because the Mason Dixon line follows the Maryland/Pennsylvania border. The mountains are beautiful in the Autumn. It used to snow here in the winter. At least it did when I was growing up. It hasn't snowed in any real amount since we've been back. It is still darned hot and very humid, though. Shoot, I had air conditioning when I lived in Minnesota. XD

- Is there a clause in your rental agreement about the internet service? Routers are expensive so I wish there were a way to get your money back.

All done with the drawings. It was fun. Next event keep an eye out because I will be doing this again, though if there are more than four entries I am definitely not doing them all and going to actually raffle.

Not a fan of bugs to. Here we just have flies, mosquitoes and spiders that bother me... Other then that fall is great lol! And thanks, been messing around with my HA for 2 days until this one. I like it to :) And Mooz (my cat who looks like the cat here) is with me to. Now i need an item that gives me a tabby cat so i have Meez (my other cat) to.

The heatwave passed yay! It's cloudy, we bit windy and cool today.. Tomorrow will be stuff with rain and then back to warm and sunny weather.
