We are having our first summer storm this year tomorrow. Rain, hard winds, crap weather, etc. And it's been cold the last few days, i almost had to put on a sweater.. lol!

Was in a bad head space in June. Currently feeling better. Also as of today I am down 30 pounds. After Easter I started taking better care of what and how much I eat. Long way to go but finally feeling better physically. Been a couple years at least since I weighed this. Maybe more. Today is a good day. :)

Lets see, scanning the thread. Alpacas are cute. The crystal grid is really neat. It's been hot and extra humid here and very rainy. Sunny today but the dew points are in the 70s so it's too muggy to enjoy it. Can't breath well in this air. Never played D&D but I watch lawyers play it on youtube. They renamed it Lawyers and Dragons lol It's fun. The smart watch sounds like it's super helpful for you. I'm thankful I can even use my cell phone. I still don't know what everything it does and it's ancient. Glad your knee is healing and it's good to baby it now and again! Especially when you overdo.

I'm sure I've over looked a lot. Hope everyone is well.

Summer storm Poly hit us hard! Loads of rain, cold, hard winds, falling trees, falling rooftops, sadly a death (no one i know), train and airports where closed, events cancelled. Started at 8am and it's finally calemd down almst 6pm. Sun is out but still hard winds and cold..

How awful! Did you have any of the damage? I hope not. Did you have any damage from your storm?

- So, you set up the grid with crystals and other items to send a message out into the universe? So, if you wanted to ask the universe for a favorable outcome to an issue, you'd set it up to facilitate that? :)

- Congrats on losing the 30lbs! I'm with Chrysariel, I'd love to lose that much. The smart watch is slowly teaching me it's ways. I'm not flailing away at it any longer. I've moved on to fat-fingering it all. 😂

- I hope you weren't caught outside in it. It's been storming here every day around 3pm. It's almost like we were back in Florida. The humidity is bad, too. :D

I have an altar for protection in general. I don't tend to change the layout for that. Since I can't have candles in my house, I use crystal water (basically just water infused with at least one crystal, I put the crystal next to the cup to infuse the water with its power) and whenever it finishes evaporating, I refill the cup.

lucky nothing, they warned us in time so i took everything on my balcony inside.

luckly not. I was working but going to work and back home it was dry, but windy. Today calm weather, cloudy but nice temps. Next few days will be hot again.. sheesh! I do hope your storms go away.

Little storm on sunday, all is ok. Today is warm, tomorrow hot then 3 days cool& nice weather and then hot again...sheesh! Mother nature is playing with us. Busy 1st week of vacation for me (i don't mind at all, lol).

Tomorrow (tuesday) to the Zoo (Ouwehands in Rhenen, NL) with a freind to see the panda's. Wednesday: summer market/fair in my town with mom. Saturday: a friend from far away is coming to visit me. Sunday: going to another town (Deventer, NL) to shop and visit the best card and stationary shop Alternote.

Never been so busy... lol!

Oooh, this week sounds like it's going to be super fun for you! Especially the zoo and the market. I love local summer markets. There are always wonderful things to see!

Hello all! We have had several good rains over the last week or so. It's amazing and I hope the trend continues. It is still really hot and sometimes horribly humid, but the rain cools it off for a while and we love any respite we can get! <3

My knee is aching, but healing. Going back to the Ortho in November and if all is good, will schedule the left knee in December. I already have improvement from what I had before, so happy about that. :)

i like it to be busy but not to busy. Zoo was nice but it was hot today.. It was even wore when i got home so stuffy warm and i was so sweaty from riding my bike home. I needed a shower so i did and put the washing machine on as it's still warm it's outside and probally dry soon.

Summertime heat is the worst! It's been getting SO hot here in the summers lately that we finally had to invest in an air conditioner, otherwise it would be unlivable. I can't stand 35 degree heat. It's too much! Hopefully you're not getting up that high there!

Where do you live? If you don't mind me asking. I'm glad you have AC! 95 F is quite normal for here (Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas) in the summer. It's that right now. Ugh! I hate it! Its dangerous and when it goes to 100+ its seriously unbearable. You open the door and the furnace heat just sucks the air and the life right out of you. It's supposed to be over 100 F or 38 C today and then every day for the next two weeks or so. AC is absolutely a necessity here and heat stroke is common.

SHUT UP. My best friend lives in Dallas/Ft Worth haha. I'm in Edmonton, Alberta. You guys get way hotter than we do most of the time, but we occasionally have unlivable days, too. She's constantly telling me how gross and hot it is over there so I definitely don't envy you. I can imagine!

I went on vacation to the Fraser Valley in British Columbia a few summers ago and it was 111F in the sun one day. We were camping and had to go find indoor activities to do for the day or else we wouldn't have survived, even along the beachfront. It was bananas.

the summers used to be nice here but last few years they get hotter and hotter. I got a fan last year so around 30 degrees i can handle with the fan but when it gets hotter and longer i want an AC to but those darn things are pricey!

A cloudy day is nice sometimes! Hopefully it cools things off a bit so you can breathe easier for a day or two.

I have fans, too. My favorite way to beat the heat with the fans is to wet down a tank top or t-shirt in some water and put it on while I sit in front of the fan lol.

I've had bad acid reflux lately.

Am going to get on some new medication so I'm happy :)

- Sorry I poofed. It's been one of those weeks, where nothing seems to go right. It started out with me accidentally fragging a Morty card and it ended with my hubby leaning over, when we were almost at the doctor's office for my appointment, and telling me that there was a hole in the crotch of the jeans he was wearing. facepalm We were 30 miles from home and did not have time to turn around so he could change. He ended up sitting strategically so nothing was compromised. 😂 It sounds like you're going to have fun on your vacation. Any plans for the next 2 weeks? The heat has been bad here. It's been over 90f every day this month. That is not normal for Virginia at this time of year. Usually it never tops 89 on the very hottest days of summer. It's usually between 75 and 85 through the hot months. It's also really humid and it rains every afternoon now. I'm ready for Autumn.

- What medicine are you going to try? I hope it works. :D
