she is not afried but asked me if i would like to join them. I sometimes walk her dogs when she can't and i can see are very friendly neighbours to each other. And it's nice to see places where i never been before.
Oh yes keelhaul is the same for me. Dressing up the fun part, hard to get stuff from the shops..
Just got home from a day city trip to Amersfoort. We did some culture stuff, shopping and lunch. Now home tired of the day.
- It's nice that you have neighbors and a neighborhood like that. It reminds me of how Fredericksburg was 30 years ago. You weren't afraid to walk in your neighborhood or say "HI" to someone then. It's not like that anymore here, sadly. I'm glad you had a fun day trip. It looks like you had a great vacation. :) I don't even try to get anything in the shop on Keelholiday. There's no point when Carl will most likely give it to you as a quest reward or you can just buy it from a user shop after the hype goes away. I wish they would have more activities during these holidays then just buying stuff or fighting challengers.I'm tired of buying, buying, buying. I would like to do something for a change. :D
Sorry I’ve poofed. Life.
Read that again.
Go Bills!
yes keelhaul and alegarten should be more then just buy. Like all the other events i would like to do something. Not all my neighbours are the same loads are to themselfs, but glad a few are friendly.
Went to the movies last saturday, got rained wet when i went home (they said no rain)... So yesterday i was not feeling to well, flu symptoms, darn rain. Anyway became a couch potato that day and today i feel ok. Rainy day here so inside doing household stuff.
- waves Hi! Nice to see you . :D
- Do you think there will ever be another plot? That's about how it is here. You havea couple of friendly people but the majority keep to themselves. I miss the old days when you could borrow a cup of sugar from your neighbor even if they weren't home. Doors were never locked and you just left a note. I guess I'm feeling nostalgic. :) It's been hot and humid here with afternoon showers. I'm sorry you were feeling badly. I hope you're better now. :D
Hiya! Glad you are back. You are not the only one who poofs once in a while -eyes at - lol!
Oh that would be nice! Or do a summer event that you need to complete a few tasks each day and win prizes. I miss those days to you pop by your neighbours, chat and do stuff. Now with the phones, internet, fast paste life peopel don't seem to care of 'have time'.
- roflmao! Yes, I'm definitly guilty of poofing. 😂 Yeah, that kind of activity would be fun if contained in a plot. I miss old Subeta, where you had to buy the wrapping paper from a shop before you could send a gift and sometimes the gift wrap shop was empty. People would put gift boxes and popular wraps in their shops for ludicros prices and we still bought it because we needed/wanted to send a gift. Oh, man, and trying to do Wizard quests with no shop search was fun, indeed. 😆 In my neighborhood we have a couple of people we talk to but most are too interested in the internet to participate much. There's no longer a real sense of community. It's a shame. :)
Hiya KSrs. Hope y'all are managing to stay coolish. The excess heat is finally reaching up to us. Under a heat warning after today until Saturday I think. Have to go out on Friday which of course is the hottest damn day. Heat index around 115. Mom and I both have dr appts. Hoping the handicapped parking is open so mom doesn't have far to walk (she has a walker). Might have to make her stay inside until I can get the car started and cooled down after we're done. The car will be sitting in the sun for a couple hours.
I loved having to buy the wrapping paper and stuff. I still have a lot of the paper saved. They are in or will go in a pet treasure. Love to buy wrapping paper in rl as well. Love all things paper. Don't miss not having the easy item shop search though. lol Always so mad at subeta when lag would hit and I wouldn't get a Wiz quest done in time to get the full token amount.
We don't chat with anyone in our little community. It's tough 'cause I am hella introverted and do not easily chat with strangers. It can take me a long time to be comfortable and even with friends I will retreat.
I hope we get some community things on subeta again. We've not had a questathon or big battle or group event in a long while.

Oh i miss those days to.. fun times lol!
We are having a couple of rainy days here.. not helping wth my cold as it came back hard last night. And ofcouse i was out of stuff... At 9am i had a shower and was at the drugstore to buy stuff.
I had a meet & greet at our local kiddy farm with the alpaca's! So much fun and u walked with them, they still have to learn though. And i signed up being a voulenteer (?) to help with them.
oh i am so glad the heat here is gone but in loads of parts in europe it's hot and wild fires started and people get evacuated (?) it's horrible.
Oh a questathon i like those to! I wish they would do something in the summer months, it's so boring here until half october... then the fun starts.
- yeah, that was the downside of not having shop search. XD And everyone would get worked up because the Wizard gave them a bikini (back when he used to give item prizes.) I remember when they introduced tric-or-treating.That was fun. :) I hope both of your doctor appointments go well. I hope the weather forcast is wrong and it'll be cool on Friday. It's hovering just under 90f here and I hope it goes no higher.
- omg, that would be so fun! Do you get to lead the alpacas around or feed them? I remember one time when we took the kids to a petting farm. They were all impressed with the various animals, except my youngest. He was more impressed with the animal food that you were supposed to put in your hand to lure the animals to you. He ate a couple of handfuls of it before I realized what he was doing. XD 😂
Oh I love the easy item shop search! So nice to use. Quests were a real pain w/out it. Getting out in the heat for any reason is bad. Esp for the elderly. Sometimes I luck out and there is a handicap spot available but its never in the shade. I really believe that it ought to be a law here that every parking lot have shade trees. The more the better.
Oh that is funny about your son eating the pet food! lol What kids do. When a friend of mine was little she loved the doggie treats they had for their dog and she was always eating them. Her mother finally took a box in to their doctor and asked if it was okay. He said they wouldn't hurt her, so she ate them like snacks. lol
- XD Kids do crazy stuff. To be honest, considering the state of food these days, she probably chose the healther option. XD
yes feed them and took them on a little walk. They are still young and scared, they still have to learn. But i became a volunteer te help them, feed them, etc. So hopefully in time they will do much better.
lol pet food, did it taste good?
Had lunch with mom yesterday it was such horrible weather, rain, stuffy... But lunch was nice! Sadly because of the stuffy and humid weather my washings won't dry... they are still a bit moist and that almost after 2 days... grrmm...
My 3 week vacation is almost over, back to work on monday. Got a call from 2 co-workers as monday when i come back i don't get blindsided by stuff as a resident is getting euthanasia.... Going to be a hard day monday...
The sky has gotten very dark. Seems like rain will be here soon. Hopefully it won't be too bad or too long. Mom and I have dr appts early this afternoon. Navigating rain is harder with a walker and how slow mom walks. We're supposed to get several inches of rain overnight. Hope the flooding won't be too bad but they are expecting flooding.
Agree Chrysariel, they really should think about the handicapped spots more. Like where they put them and how many they put for the size of a parking lot. Some of the grocery stores here have 4. It's just not enough for the population here at all. And few parking lots have trees in them anymore. :(
I'm sorry the start to your week is going to be difficult Emory. Not the best way to return after such a nice break. hugs
Been feeling off all week. I realized possibly why this morning. My dad has been gone for a decade as of this morning. He died at 9:15am on this date 10 years ago. Hardly feels it at all. Sometimes still feel like I catch him out of the corner of my eye in the evenings like he's coming up to change for bed. Or hear him in my head when I go down to make coffee and it's still dark out because I didn't sleep well and I hear him say "what are you doing up?" which he would say 'cause he'd be up and on his computer in the kitchen before he had to get ready for work.

- I'll admit it, I tried it. I mean if the kids thought it was ok to eat, why not? lol It was a bit bland for my tastes, though. Wow, that vacation went quick. It's been hot and humid here. Everything feels sticky, even in the air conditioning.
I don't even have a handicap tag. I completely forgot I was eligible for one. I'm putting it on our "to-do" list for when/if we ever get another car. Handicap spots are a farce. If a place does have them they're frequently filled with non-handicap vehicles (No tag orrear view mirror permit). And the place's management does nothing and all the police do is issue a ticket. So, again, nothing. rolls eyes I'm sorry your vacation will end on such a sad note, Emory. We don't (but should) have that option over here. It was nice of your co-workers to forewarn you. :)
- I've had experiences like that. It's what I've come to believe are the real ghosts, the ones that watch over us. The ones that we see in the corner of the eye (well, not me, anymore but you get the sentiment.) It's like the atmosphere of the room/hall/area you're in changes and you then faintly smell your grandmother's perfume.. That's her telling you she's near. I know it sounds corney but it is what it is. :)
ieuw you did, nasty! Vacation time flew by... i need a another vacation to get by this vacation lol!
And i am glad i got the warning... would not be nice walking in like that on monday.
Had a bbq yesterday from where i am going to voulenteer for the alpaca's. I went and it was nice to meet new people.
It's a bit dryer here still a bit humid... wish my stuff would dry faster.
Our dr appts went well. Lost another 6 pounds (Yay!) and my blood pressure is perfect. Here's to hoping as I lose more weight the doc will have to lower how much bp meds I take. Need other test results but hopefully that will be fine too. fingers crossed Also the rain enclosed our appts but stayed away while we were driving and getting into and out of the car. That was nice of it. lol
For many years after my nana died I used to smell her perfume (chanel no5 which neither my mom or I ever used) occasionally. Often when I was watching the crafting shows they used to have on HGTV (quilting, The Carol Duvall Show as my nana was a quilter and crafter). She really would have loved those shows. After awhile we stopped smelling it. Feels like maybe she's moved on.
I hope your air gets dryer soon! So uncomfortable for it to be so damp your clothes don't dry!
We had storms overnight. Possibly some more later today but then our air is supposed to return to normal temps and drier air. Thankfully.

- lmao! You've never tasted the boy's food to see what it tastes like? 😂 Don't you just love the need for a vacation to get over the vacation you just had. You'll be in my thoughts on Monday. As for your damp clothes, when our dryer broke and we needed things dried fast we would put a drying rack in the kitchen and then turn the oven on about 150f. The warmth would radiate out from the oven and dry the clothes faster. You'd just have to remember to turn the clothing often so it all dries in a more uniform manner.
- That would happen with my step-dad. Years after he'd passed I smelled his aftershave in the wee hours of the night in houses he'd never visited because we hadn't lived there until after he died. :) I'm glad your appointment went so well. Yay for losing 6lb! I'm also glad the weather was nice to you. :D
When I was a teen, a piece of my pasta dropped on the floor. And me, being me, decided to be funny by picking it up and eating it. What I didn't realize was that there was a piece of cat food now stuck to the bottom of the pasta.
It tasted horrible O.O'
I've had dog treats before (can't remember why) and they tasted good.
yay for good news with your doc app! Weather is dryer and stuff is drying faster but crap weather is coming tomorrow and will last a week... no summer here more like fall.
nope lol as long as they think it's tasty for them i am fine. The overn tip is an idea for damp clothes ... maybe i will try it one day.
ieeuuwww! yuk!
does anyone have a buddy GA they are willing to part with? My GA runs out on august 1st...
