Hi Bears I hope you are having a wonderful time with family and friends over the holidays.
Goodness that was fast!! Hope you all had a good Christmas if thats what you celebrate!!
Hello everyone! How are you? I am okay. Been dealing with headaches and migraines on and off the past few weeks. Just a quick lil update and mostly the reason why I've been a lil silent. I saw a neurologist on the 13th and will be having an MRI done in Jan. The neurologist also ordered some blood work. Everything came back okay except for two things. 1) My blood sugar level was slightly elevated. 2)Another level that's supposed be anywhere from 1.something to 4.something was like 5.4 or something like that. One of the reasons it gave/explained could cause it to be that high is pregnancy. So, on Wed. I'll be going and seeing if I'm pregnant or not (took home tests, either negative or invalid and would prefer blood work to be done because I have the Mirena IUD and it can cause issues to the pregnancy and myself if left in; this way, if I am, they can promptly remove it [hopefully]). I've been really tired and exhausted lately due to the headaches and such and also the manic-ness I've been having, so sleep is hit and miss at this point.
Changing subjects now: Christmas was great as I spent it with my hubby and fur babies (despite headache/migraine) and I had a wonderful Lumi <3 How was everyone's Christmas and Lumi?
I will close for now as I have a migraine right now, and it's taken me about twenty minutes to type something that normally takes about 3 to 5 mins., give or take.
Hope everyone has a Blessed night and week!

You're welcome :)

I am not old. I am gracefully aged
The background is your problem. It's one of the older ones with the cutout. Sometimes you can get creative layering solid ground and foreground items behind the background to camouflage the holes, otherwise you just have to only use the newer style full backgrounds with body mods.
You're very welcome. Hope you have a pleasant week! :)

... yes, that is bitter that you spend money for parts that you can not use normally, the programmers would have to change... there are some of them... annoys me... , there is nothing i can put behind...

, Amanda/mindyjane : We will most definitely keep you all in our prayers for healing and for peace and comfort in this very difficult situation.Tell him we love him and wish him a rapid and full recovery.
My dearest Bears,
Thank you all for the wonderful gifts that you sent my way for Luminaire, I promise to send each one of you a special thank you note in the coming week. I've got my paws full of babies and the Yule season is a busy time for me and Weldon. We've had a lot of snow the last two weeks and that just makes things more busy.
I have a small update on my Author Mark and the problems he was having with his breathing and heart rate. He saw his primary care provider who ran lots of blood tests and urine analysis. She also performed a ECG of his heart and auscultated his chest listening for valve abnormalities and clear lungs.
All lab values came back normal except for protein in the urine which is indicative of acute kidney injury, but the clinical picture is inconclusive of any diagnosis. She also ordered furosemide to help reduce retained water in the tissues and lungs to make breathing better. That was about three weeks ago.
Last week, Mark got to meet a cardiologist who did a portable echocardiogram and couldn't discern any valve defects or heart chamber abnormalities. Another ECG was also inconclusive, so the cardiologist ordered a complete series of stress tests and echocardiograms done in the cardio lab for next week.
The only thing that concerned the cardiologist was something Mark said during his intake interview. He had been working very strenuously on remodeling a room in his house, doing drywall repair and such and taking ibuprofen tablets to help with the soreness. Mark was also taking diclofenac ointment for the joint pain in his paws as well as a daily celecoxib for knee pain. That's three NSAIDS, which is a lot. The cardiologist was concerned that perhaps mark may have caused an acute kidney inflammation by overdosing on diclofenac (not measuring the cream dose carefully enough). A kidney insult would cause acute water retention, increased blood pressure, overloading the heart, backing up into the lungs and making breathing difficult. But the most immediate concern for the time being is getting the heart checked out.
Mark stopped taking all NSAIDS immediately with the onset of his symptoms, he was a Respiratory Therapist III for 34 years and suspected right away what the cause of his troubles might have been. Since being on the furosemide, he has felt much better and has had very little swelling of his legs and very little shortness of breath, other than the normal kind he gets for being old and fat. Just saying....I mean, it's not like he's going to read this.
Anyway, I promised you all that I would report back to you and I will keep you up to date on the results of his tests as soon as I know something. I do love him, and I teas him, but he has done a lot for me and Weldon and helped me write my book. So, it's OK if I goad him a little bit to put down the 8-inch wedge of fruitcake and walk around the block...put the beer down too human!
Just remember, NSAIDS are good medicine, but you have to be careful and follow your healer's advice. Don't max out three or four in a day.
I love you all, Happy New Year! We're Half Way Out Of The Dark!!
arent you in California?? It can snow huh Oh are you like more inland?
To all of you, and your families, having health issues, I hope the doctors figure out soon what's going on and work on fixing and alleviating the problems.
Amanda/mindyjane I'm so sorry to hear that Adam is in hospital. My thoughts and well wishes are with you and Adam.
