: Animal Crossing is a great game! I heard that it was best on the Switch. I've Animal Crossing Pocket Camp on my Lurking Device, but my iPad is too old and slow to play it. ( I only use my iPad for writing and internet)

Mine got around to ordering a metronome, and Russian letter magnets. Oddly the magnets will take more than six weeks to arrive, but the metronome is due next week.

: I understand that if you are playing Animal Crossing New Harvest on a Switch, that the "general" weather pattern for your continent will be reflected during gameplay. I don't know if the game console has to be time-synchronized or not. That's what my friends Glitter, Dannygyrrl and Ellepepper say at least. I don't know from first-paw.

You ordered a metronome...for music I take it. Do you play an instrument? I play penny whistle and I sing IRL. (In the world of Subeta, I also play trumpet in all my role-playing, but in reality, there isn't a trumpet small enough for me to play that wouldn't sound like a farting grasshopper.) If not for music, what else could a metronome be used for? Perhaps for experiments in gravitation? Or for counting the number of chirps a cricket makes so as to ascertain the ambient air temperature? Weldon can count five numbers in his head all at the same time and calculate complex algebraic equations whilst leaping through the air to determine the precise location of his body upon impact. He's fun at parties. Not so fun whilst playing poker because he never loses.

Russian letter magnets...you have me there. I have no idea what a Russian Letter Magnet is. Are these magnets part of your gravity experiments with the metronome? I look forward to learning all about them.

Weldon and all my grown children made tamales this evening. Luna and Jairen made the masa, Sparkles and Jacqueline cooked the meat...(sooooooo tasty!!!) and everybody (except me) rolled up the tamales. There was pico de gallo, black beans, rice, tamales, ale and lots of singing and dancing. My job was to stay out of the kitchen (whew) and test the ale to make sure it remained palatable throughout the evening. I do my job very well.

My initial assessment is what I expected, but I may not have gone through the first day's playtime correctly. I started up the next time, and the game restarted from the beginning. I'll try again later, and see it through.

I used to practice electric bass, but had stopped when my PS3 died, and more or less quit when I changed my bass's pickups. The metronome is for novelty. I plan on using it for a sleep aid, the ticking sound I find oddly soothing.

The magnets are also a novelty, everyone has English letters, mine simply being different.

wow why do you use your stove for heat? that isnt safe. I think you have the stovepipefireplace you cook on to right/ If that gives you trouble you MUST let air through thr=e house a little no matter how cold it gets to get fresh air. It is a catch22 tiright heat or no heat..but your safety somes first sir!!

They say theres an Irish tradition to open the door at midnight on new years eve to let the old year out and welcome the new year in..

After the year we've had I say open the front door, the back door, windows, vents, the garage doors.. whatever you got to open, open it which I actually did and it was 44 below zero. Fingers crossed it worked.

Fortunately the cold is subsiding zo mine haven't been using it the last days. Oddly I'm feeling overheated from this cold, and the next days mine may not need to fire it up.

Plus mine been repaid a loan from October, zo I'm over 75% towards tuition. Three more weeks to wait for ant opportunity to fill that gap.

quick update and sorry I havent been updating more often. just trying to keep myself going and getting everyone updated gets a bit heavy. Adam is still in ICU, he was doing better a few days ago then started having some issues. He had a Bronical scope done and cultures were still waiting on some of those to come back. Right now they are getting fluid out (around the lungs and such they said none around his heart or kidneys) so we are still playing the waiting game. I went out to his mom and stepdads for dinner brought the girl moose home (shes back to school in the am) left moose/ryker/little man out there again... that hurt something fierce not what I wanted to do but that is just another bad on the pile.
