[box=#cceeff]How many mod crystals can I use?[/box] Most weapons have one to five mod slots where you can add your crystals. You can check how many by hovering over the weapon in your armory. Once a weapon has all of its mod slots filled the only way to add a new crystal is to replace one of the current ones. However, doing this will make the old crystal disappear forever. Removing a weapon from your armory will also cause all attached crystals to disappear forever. This is why battlers often ask for mod crystals to be replaced when lending out weapons.
[box=#cceeff]Where can I get mod crystals?[/box] Some mod crystals are available in the Battle Shop, but most are given out through battling opponents. The more battles you win, the more mod crystals you will earn. As a general rule, stronger opponents give out better crystals. You can find a list of which crystals are available from which opponents in the spoilers below.
[box=#cceeff]What do the percentages mean?[/box] The percentages are the likelihood that a blessing, curse, or heal will activate. They don't 'stack,' or add up cumulatively, and will activate independently of each other.
For example, if you were to add three Parched Baguette Crystals to your weapon, the likelihood that the Parched (10%) blessing will activate on any given turn is 1 - (0.90.90.9) = 0.271 or 27.1%; the 0.9 being the 90% chance that the blessing will not activate, multiplied three times over because you added three Parched Baguette Crystals.
[box=#cceeff]Where do I modify my weapons?[/box] Weapons can be modded either through the Armory or by clicking on a mod crystal in your inventory and then clicking 'Modify Weapon.'
[box=#cceeff]Which crystals are the best?[/box] Historically speaking, Blessing of Natural Armor Tear Crystal, Parched Baguette Crystal, Singed Baguette Crystal, and Critical Strike Tear Crystal have been considered the best crystals in terms of utilization. Elemental crystals are also useful when you need additional attack or defense for a specific icon type. It all comes down to personal preference and what will work best against a certain opponent.
[box=#cceeff]Okay, but really, which crystals should I use if I'm still overwhelmed by all of the choices?[/box]
These four crystals will get you through most battles, just be sure to read about what they do in the 'Special Crystals' section to become familiar with them first.Freezing Crystals

Do we know how long the blessing/curse lasts
Also, I have a hunch that the light mod isn't supposed to have blown away, but it also doesn't really matter either way since curses are unblock able and essentially all the same icon type. Only thing it would affect would be if light and wind mods were on the same weapon, it would be better if they were the right curses.

No, I haven't tested the number of turns for the blessings/curses yet. Each light crystal (brilliant, marquise, royalty) has blown away on it so I can't tell if it's an error or not.
2 Turns on the blessing 3 turns on the curse

Added, thank you
[edit]I need to go to sleep, but if anyone has info on the rest of the freezing crystals (besides marquise) and which challengers give them out, please let me know.
Is there any freezing boost with the Freezing Marquise Crystal?
I would assume that the freezing crystals do have a chance to freeze, but I personally haven't tested them yet because I'm still in the process of collecting them.
I'm trying to get some myself too and try them, I'll update you when I get them, thanks! :)
I just got a Wind Marquise Crystal and it also has Blown Away on it, so I think you were right about the light crystals having the wrong curse.
"Given out by challengers after XX+ wins."
I thought, we'd get them on every win after the magic number, but NO? This is not funny :-( They are going to be super rare that way and inhibit using them. I am not going to put any on, knowing I only have so very few available :-(
hey, i've been collecting some info on crystals for the past couple days that might be useful for your guide, i'm adding it to my pet mosaku's page, just because it's easier for me to gather it all up there, it's just which challengers drop which types of crystals, i dont have much yet and i'm only really gonna collect data on my own, but you can take whatever info you might want from in there and put it on your guide if you want. i thought it might be useful for people to know which challengers drop which elements of crystals and such
Who drops the freezing eye of royalty crystal? so far ive only found dark and water >: [
I fought all of the impossible opponents and, as far as I can tell, none of them do. Maybe it'll be attached to a new opponent in the future?
We have a guide to the new loot drops here: 1P Loot tracker - Collaboration Project :) You can add to it if you want, there are still some opponents who need more info.
I think Hoarfrost is Impossible difficulty, so maybe he will drop the freezing EoR crystal? We have to wait til he shows up again.

That's a very good point! I can't wait to find out :)
Does anybody know, who is giving out the Healing Baguette Crystal? Respectively has a general list, who is giving out which elements?
Did anyone else test the freeze rate on the EoR freezing mod? I just did 50 fights with Felibot with two attached and it didn't freeze once. The baguette has a much higher freeze rate than that so seems like it's missing a freeze percent.
Maybe or can confirm whether the new freezing crystals have a % chance to freeze (since none seems to be listed on their mod stats) and if they're supposed to have them - what they are and/or whether or not they're functioning as intended?
